Isaia 34

1 Manatona, ianareo jentilisa, mba handre; Ary mihainoa, ianareo firenena; Aoka handre ny tany sy ny ao aminy rehetra, Izao tontolo izao sy ny vokatra rehetra avy aminy.

Come near, ye nations, to hear, and attend, ye peoples; let the earth hear, and the fulness thereof, the world, and all things that come forth of it.

2 Fa Jehovah dia tezitra amin’ ny jentilisa rehetra, ary mirehitra amin’ ny miaramilany rehetra ny fahatezerany; Efa nodidiany haringana ireo ary natolony hovonoina.

For the LORD hath indignation against all the nations, and fury against all their host; He hath utterly destroyed them, He hath delivered them to the slaughter.

3 Ary izay voavono amin’ ireo dia hariana, ka hamofona ny hamaimbon’ ny fatiny, ary ny tendrombohitra hiempo azon’ ny ràny.

Their slain also shall be cast out, and the stench of their carcasses shall come up, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.

4 Izay rehetra eny amin’ ny lanitra dia ho levona, Ary ny lanitra hahorona tahaka ny fangorona taratasy; Ary ny eny aminy rehetra dia halazo tahaka ny fahalazon’ ny ravina mihintsana avy amin’ ny voaloboka, ary tahaka ny ravina malazo mihintsana avy amin’ ny aviavy.

And all the host of heaven shall moulder away, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll; and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig-tree.

5 Fa ny sabatro dia mamon-drà any amin’ ny lanitra; Indro, hidina hihatra amin’ i Edoma iny sy amin’ ny firenena voatendriko haringana, mba ho fitsarana azy.

For My sword hath drunk its fill in heaven; behold, it shall come down upon Edom, and upon the people of My ban, to judgment.

6 Ny sabatr’ i Jehovah feno rà, eny, mihosi-menaka amin’ ny matavy sy amin’ ny ran’ ny zanak’ ondry sy ny osilahy ary amin’ ny fonomboan’ ny ondrilahy; Fa Jehovah mamono zavatra hatao fanatitra ao Bozra Ary mahafaty be ao amin’ ny tany Edoma.

The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams; for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Edom.

7 Ary ny ombimanga miaraka aripaka aminy mbamin’ ny vantotr’ omby sy ny ombilahy, ka dia vonton-drà ny taniny, ary mihosi-menaka ny vovo-taniny.

And the wild-oxen shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be drunken with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.

8 Fa Jehovah manana andro famaliana, dia taona famaliana hiadiana ho an’ i Ziona.

For the LORD hath a day of vengeance, a year of recompense for the controversy of Zion.

9 Ary hovana ho tonga dity ny renirano any Edoma, ary ho solifara ny vovo-taniny, ary ny taniny ho dity mirehitra.

And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.

10 Na alina na andro dia tsy hovonoina izany, ary ny setrony hisavoana mandrakizay; Hatramin’ ny taranaka fara mandimby dia ho tany karankaina izy, tsy hisy handeha hamaky azy intsony mandrakizay mandrakizay.

It shall not be quenched night nor day, the smoke thereof shall go up for ever; from generation to generation it shall lie waste: none shall pass through it for ever and ever.

11 Fa ho zara-tanin’ ny sama sy ny sokina izy, ny vorondolo lehibe sy ny goaika dia hitoetra ao; Ary hohenjaniny eo aminy ny famolaina fikorontanana sy ny pilao fahafoanana.

But the pelican and the bittern shall possess it, and the owl and the raven shall dwell therein; and He shall stretch over it the line of confusion, and the plummet of emptiness.

12 Ary ny lehibe dia tsy hisy ao intsony hifidy izay hanjaka, fa ho fongana ny mpanapaka rehetra ao aminy.

As for her nobles, none shall be there to be called to the kingdom; and all her princes shall be nothing.

13 Ary ho rakotry ny tsilo ny ao anatin’ ny lapan’ ny mpanjakany, amiana sy voaroy no ho ao amin’ ny trano fiarovany; Ary ho fonenan’ ny amboadia sy fitoeran’ ny ostritsa izy.

And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and thistles in the fortresses thereof; and it shall be a habitation of wild-dogs, an enclosure for ostriches.

14 Ny bibi-dia any an-efitra hihaona amin’ ny kary; ary ny osilahy hiantso ny namany; Ary ilay mandehandeha amin’ ny alina hitoetra any ka hahita fitoerana ho azy.

And the wild-cats shall meet with the jackals, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; yea, the night-monster shall repose there, and shall find her a place of rest.

15 Ny bibilava miantoratoraka hanao ny lavany any ka hanatody sy hifana ary hikotrika ao amin’ ny alokaloka any; Any koa no hiangonan’ ny papango, samy eo amin’ ny namany avy.

There shall the arrowsnake make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and brood under her shadow; yea, there shall the kites be gathered, every one with her mate.

16 Izahao ao amin’ ny bokin’ i Jehovah, ka vakio; Tsy misy tsy ao ireo na dia iray akory aza. Tsy misy na dia iray akory aza hitady ny namany; Fa ny vavan’ i Jehovah no nandidy izany, ary ny fanahiny ihany no nanangona azy.

Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read; no one of these shall be missing, none shall want her mate; for My mouth it hath commanded, and the breath thereof it hath gathered them.

17 Ary Izy no efa tinendry anjara ho an’ ireo ary ny tànany no efa nizara izany ho an’ ireo tamin’ ny famolaina; Handova izany mandrakizay ireo ary hitoetra ao hatramin’ ny taranaka fara-mandimby.

And He hath cast the lot for them, and His hand hath divided it unto them by line; they shall possess it for ever, from generation to generation shall they dwell therein.
