Isaia 27
1 Amin’ izany andro izany ny sabatr’ i Jehovah, izay mafy sady lehibe no mahery, no ho entiny mamaly ny leviatana, dia ilay menarana mandositra, sy ny leviatana, dia ilay menarana miforoporotra, Ary hovonoiny ilay dragona ao an-dranomasina.
In that day Jehovah, with his sore and great and strong sword, will visit leviathan the fleeing serpent, and leviathan the crooked serpent; and he will slay the monster that is in the sea.
2 Amin’ izany andro izany no hihiranareo ny amin’ ny tanim-boaloboka ahazoana divay mahery hoe:
In that day [there shall be] a vineyard of pure wine; sing concerning it:
3 Izaho Jehovah no mpiaro io; Isaky ny indray mipi-maso no andemako azy, Fandrao misy manimba azy; Na andro na alina dia miaro azy aho.
I Jehovah keep it, I will water it every moment; lest any harm it, I will keep it night and day.
4 Tsy misy fahatezerana ato amiko; Enga anie ka hisy hery sy tsilo eto anatrehako hiadiako. Dia hiroatako ireo ka hodorako avokoa!
Fury is not in me. Oh that I had briars [and] thorns in battle against me! I would march against them, I would burn them together.
5 Fa raha tsy izany, dia aoka hifikitra amin’ ny heriko kosa izy ka hihavana amiko; Eny, aoka hihavana amiko izy.
Or let him take hold of my strength; let him make peace with me: [yea, ] let him make peace with me.
6 Amin’ ny andro ho avy dia hamaka tsara Jakoba; Ary Isiraely hamony sy hitsimoka ka hameno izao tontolo izao amin’ ny fahavokarany.
In the future Jacob shall take root; Israel shall blossom and bud, and they shall fill the face of the world with fruit.
7 Moa tahaka ny namelezana izay namely azy va no moa namelezany azy koa? Ary tahaka ny namonoana izay novonoiny va no mba namonoana azy koa?
Hath he smitten him according to the smiting of those that smote him? Is he slain according to the slaughter of those slain by him?
8 Tamin’ ny nandroahany azy dia voafetra no niadiany taminy; Nokororohiny tamin’ ny rivony mahery izy tamin’ ny andron’ ny rivotra avy any atsinanana.
In measure, when sending her away, didst thou contend with her: he hath taken [her] away with his rough wind in the day of the east wind.
9 Ka izao no hamelana ny helok’ i Jakoba, Ary izao ihany no vokatry ny nanesorana ny fahotany, dia amin’ ny anaovany ny vato rehetra amin’ ny alitara ho tahaka ny vato sokay voatorotoro, ary ny Aseraha sy ny tsangan-kazo ho an’ ny masoandro dia tsy hitsangana intsony.
By this, therefore, shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit of the taking away of his sin: when he shall make all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are crumbled in pieces, — the Asherahs and the sun-images shall not stand.
10 Fa ho foana ny tanàna mimanda, ka dia ho fonenana afoy sy ilaozana tahaka ny efitra: Ao no hihinanan’ ny zanak’ omby, ary ao no handriany sy handaniany ny rantsan-kazony.
For the fortified city is solitary, a habitation abandoned and forsaken like a wilderness; there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume its boughs.
11 Raha malazo ny rantsany, dia hotapatapahina, ka ho avy ny vehivavy hitaina azy, satria firenena tsy manam-pahalalana izy, dia tsy hiantra azy ny Mpanao azy, ary tsy hamindra fo aminy ny Mpamorona azy.
When its branches are withered they shall be broken off; women shall come [and] set them on fire. For it is a people of no intelligence; therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he who formed them will shew them no favour.
12 Ary amin’ izany andro izany dia hisy fampihintsanana ataon’ i Jehovah hatramin’ ny ony mandriaka ka hatramin’ ny lohasahan-driak’ i Egypta; Ary ianareo samy hotsimponina tsirairay, ry Zanak’ Isiraely.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that Jehovah shall beat out from the flood of the river unto the torrent of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, [ye] children of Israel.
13 Ary amin’ izany andro izany koa no hitsofana anjomara lehibe, dia ho avy izay very tany amin’ ny tany Asyria sy izay efa voaroaka tany amin’ ny tany Egypta, ka hiankohoka eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah ao amin’ ny tendrombohitra masìna any Jerosalema.
And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the great trumpet shall be blown; and they shall come that were perishing in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and they shall worship Jehovah in the holy mountain at Jerusalem.
