Isaia 16
1 Atero ny zanak’ ondrin’ ny mpanapaka ny tany, dia miala an’ i Sela ka mamaky ny efitra hatramin’ ny tendrombohitr’ i Ziona zanakavavy.
Send yee a lambe to the ruler of the worlde from the rocke of the wildernesse, vnto the mountaine of the daughter Zion.
2 Ary tahaka ny vorona notairina niala tamin’ ny akaniny ka mirenireny foana, dia ho toy izany ny zanakavavin’ i Moaba ao amin’ ny fitàna any Arnona.
For it shall be as a birde that flieth, and a nest forsaken: the daughters of Moab shall be at the foordes of Arnon.
3 Manolora saina, manomeza rariny ataovy tahaka ny alina ny alokao, na dia amin’ ilay andro mitataovovonana iny aza; Afeno izay voaroaka, Ary aza aseho izay mandositra!
Gather a cousel, execute iudgement: make thy shadowe as the night in the midday: hide them that are chased out: bewray not him that is fled.
4 Aoka hitoetra ao aminao izay oloko voaroaka; Ary aoka ho fieren’ i Moaba ianao, mba tsy ho azon’ ny mpandringana izy; Fa tsy misy intsony ny mpampahory, tapitra ny loza, tsy misy amin’ ny tany intsony ny mpanosihosy.
Let my banished dwell with thee: Moab be thou their couert from the face of the destroyer: for the extortioner shall ende: the destroyer shalbe consumed, and the oppressour shall cease out of the land.
5 Ary hisy seza fiandrianana hampitoerina amin’ ny famindram-po, ka hisy hipetraka eo aminy amin’ ny fahamarinana ao an-dain’ i Davida, ary hitsara sy handinika izay marina izy, sady ho faingam-pamoaka ny rariny.
And in mercy shall the throne be prepared, and hee shall sit vpon it in stedfastnesse, in the tabernacle of Dauid, iudging, and seeking iudgement, and hasting iustice.
6 Efa renay ny fiavonavonan’ i Moaba fatra-piavonavona loatra izy dia ny fireharehany sy ny fiavonavonany sy ny fihoa-bavany ary ny fibedibediny foana.
We haue heard of the pride of Moab, (he is very proud) euen his pride, and his arrogancie, and his indignation, but his lies shall not be so.
7 Ary noho izany dia ho indray midradradradra Moaba, eny, samy hidradradradra avokoa izy rehetra; Fa hitomany ny ampempam-boalobok’ i Kira-haresa ianareo ka ho ory indrindra.
Therefore shall Moab howle vnto Moab: euery one shall howle: for the foundations of Kirhareseth shall ye mourne, yet they shalbe striken.
8 Fa malazo avokoa ny sahan’ i Hesbona sy ny voalobok’ i Sibma, norantsanan’ ny andrian’ ny firenena ny sakeliny, tonga hatrany Jazera sy nisandrahaka tany an-efitra izy, ny sampany nandadilady ka tafita ny ranomasina.
For ye vineyards of Heshbon are cut downe, and the vine of Sibmah: the lordes of the heathen haue broken the principal vines thereof: they are come vnto Iaazer: they wandred in the wildernesse: her goodly branches stretched out them selues, and went ouer the sea.
9 Koa izany no hitomaniako ny voalobok’ i Sibma, toy ny fitomanian’ i Jazera, handena anao amin’ ny ranomasoko aho, ry Hesbona sy Elale; fa mihatra amin’ ny vokatrao lohataona sy ny fararanonao ny fanakorana.
Therefore will I weepe with the weeping of Iaazer, and of the vine of Sibmah, O Heshbon: and Elealeh, I will make thee drunke with my teares, because vpon thy sommer fruits, and vpon thy haruest a showting is fallen.
10 Ny hafaliana sy ny haravoravoana efa nesorina tamin’ ny saha mahavokatra, ka tsy hisy hoby na horakoraka ao amin’ ny tanim-boaloboka; Ny mpanosihosy tsy hanosihosy divay intsony ao amin’ ny famiazana; Efa natsahatro ny fihobiana amin’ ny fararano.
And gladnes is taken away, and ioy out of the plentifull fielde: and in the vineyardes shall be no singing nor shouting for ioy: the treader shall not tread wine in the wine presses: I haue caused the reioycing to cease.
11 Ary noho izany ny tsinaiko dia mitaraina manao feon-dokanga noho ny amin’ i Moaba, ary ny ato anatiko noho ny amin’ i Kira-haresa.
Wherefore, my bowels shall sounde like an harpe for Moab, and mine inwarde partes for Ker-haresh.
12 Ary rehefa miseho Moaba ka sasatra ao amin’ ny fitoerana avo. Ary mankao amin’ ny fitoerany masìna mba hivavaka, dia tsy hahazo na inona na inona izy.
And when it shall appeare that Moab shall be wearie of his hie places, then shall hee come to his temple to praie, but he shall not preuaile.
13 Izany no tenin’ i Jehovah nataony fahiny ny amin’ i Moaba.
This is the word that the Lord hath spoken against Moab since that time.
14 Ary ankehitriny koa Jehovah miteny hoe: Amin’ ny telo taona, tahaka ny taonan’ ny mpikarama, dia ho tsinontsinona ny voninahitr’ i Moaba, na dia betsaka aza ny vahoakany; ary izay sisa dia ho vitsy, eny, ho vitsy foana, fa tsy ho maro.
And nowe the Lord hath spoken, saying, In three yeres, as the yeeres of a hireling, and the glorie of Moab shall be contemned in all the great multitude, and the remnant shalbe very small and feeble.
