Isaia 11
1 Ary hisy Solofo mitsimoka eo amin’ ny fototr’ i Jese, ary hisy mitrebona avy eo amin’ ny fakany;
Then shall spring forth a shoot from the stem of Jesse, And a sprout grow up from his roots.
2 Ary ny fanahin’ i Jehovah hitoetra ao aminy, dia ny Fanahin’ ny fahendrena sy ny fahazavan-tsaina; Ny Fanahin’ ny fanoloran-tsaina sy ny faherezana; Ny Fanahin’ ny fahalalana sy ny fahatahorana an’ i Jehovah;
The spirit of Jehovah shall rest upon him, The spirit of wisdom and understanding, The spirit of counsel and might, The spirit of the knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah,
3 Ary ho hanitra ankasitrahana aminy ny fahatahorana an’ i Jehovah, ka tsy hitsara araka ny hitan’ ny masony izy, na hampiaiky araka ny ren’ ny sofiny;
He shall take delight in the fear of Jehovah; He shall not judge by the sight of his eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of his ears.
4 Fa hotsarainy amin’ ny fahamarinana ny malahelo; Ary homeny rariny ny mpandefitra amin’ ny tany; hamely ny tany amin’ ny tsorakazon’ ny vavany Izy, ary ny fofonain’ ny molony no hamonoany ny ratsy fanahy.
But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, And decide with equity for the afflicted of the land; He shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth; With the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
5 Fahamarinana no ho fisikinany, ary fanahy mahatoky no ho fehin-kibony
Righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, And faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
6 Ary ny amboadia hiara-mitoetra amin’ ny zanak’ ondry; Ny leoparda hiara-mandry amin’ ny zanak’ osy; Ary ny zanak’ omby sy ny liona tanora sy ny ombikely mifahy hiray toerana, Ary ny zazakely no hiroaka azy.
Then shall the wolf dwell with the lamb, And the leopard shall lie down with the kid; The calf, and the young lion, and the fatling shall be together, And a little child shall lead them.
7 Ary ny ombivavy sy ny bera hiara-komana; Ny zanany hiara-mandry; Ary ny liona hihina-mololo tahaka ny omby;
The cow and the bear shall feed together, Together shall their young lie down, And the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
8 Ny zaza minono hilalao amin’ ny lavaky ny vipera, ary ny zaza mitsaha-nono haninjitra ny tànany ao amin’ ny lavaky ny menarana.
The suckling shall play upon the hole of the asp, And the near-weaned child lay his hand on the hiding-place of the basilisk.
9 Ary tsy handratra na hanimba eran’ ny tendrombohitro masìna izy; Fa ny tany ho henika ny fahalalana an’ i Jehovah, tahaka ny anaronan’ ny rano ny fanambanin’ ny ranomasina.
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; For the land shall be full of the knowledge of Jehovah, As the waters cover the depths of the sea.
10 Ary amin’ izany andro izany ny solofon’ i Jese, Izay hitsangana ho fanevan’ ny firenena, dia Izy no hotadiavin’ ny jentilisa; Ary ny fitoerany dia ho voninahitra.
In that day shall the shoot of Jesse stand as a banner to the nations, And to him shall the gentiles repair, And his dwelling-place shall be glorious.
11 Ary amin’ izany andro izany ny Tompo dia mbola haninjitra ny tànany fanindroany hanavotra ny olony, izay mbola sisa, avy any Syria sy Egypta sy Patrosa sy Etiopia sy Elama sy Sinara sy Hamata Ary ny avy any amin’ ny moron-dranomasina.
In that day shall Jehovah the second time stretch forth his hand To recover the remnant of his people, That remaineth, from Assyria, and from Egypt, And from Pathros, and from Ethiopia, and from Elam, And from Shinar, and from Hamath, And from the islands of the sea.
12 Dia hanangana faneva ho an’ ny jentilisa Izy ka hamory ny Isiraely izay voaroaka sy hanangona ny Joda izay voaely Avy any amin’ ny vazan-tany efatra.
He shall set up a banner to the nations, And gather the outcasts of Israel, And bring together the dispersed of Judah, From the four extremities of the earth.
13 Ary hitsahatra ny fialonan’ i Efraima, ary hofongorana ny fandrafiana’ an i Joda: Efraima tsy hialona an’ i Joda, Ary Joda tsy handrafy an’ i Efraima.
Then shall the jealousy of Ephraim depart, And the enmity in Judah be at an end; Ephraim shall not be jealous of Judah, And Judah shall not contend with Ephraim.
14 Fa hipaoka ny tanin’ ny Filistina any andrefana ireo sy hiara-mamabo ny zanaky ny atsinanana; amin’ i Edoma sy Moaba no haninjirany ny tanany, ary ny taranak’ i Amona hanoa azy.
But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines at the sea; Together shall they plunder the children of the East; On Edom and Moab shall they lay their hand, And the sons of Ammon shall be subject to them.
15 Ary Jehovah handritra ny sakeli-dranomasina Egyptiana ary haninjitra ny tànany amin’ ny ony ka hamely azy amin’ ny rivony mahamay Ka hampisaraka azy hisampana fito Ary hahatafita ny olona tsy miala kapa.
Then will Jehovah utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea, And shake his hand over the river with a mighty wind, And smite it into seven streams, So that men may go over it dry-shod.
16 Ary hisy lalana voavoatra halehan’ ny olony sisa, izay sisa avy any Asyria, dia toy ny ho an’ ny Isiraely tamin’ ny andro niakarany avy tany amin’ ny tany Egypta.
And it shall be a highway for the remnant of the people, Which shall remain, from Assyria, As there was to Israel, When he came up from the land of Egypt.
