< Hebreo 5 >

1 Fa ny mpisoronabe rehetra dia alaina amin’ ny olona ka tendrena ho solon’ ny olona hanao ny raharahan’ Andriamanitra, hanatitra fanomezana sy fanatitra hanafaka ota,
For every high priest, who is from among men, is established over the things of God, in behalf of men, that he may present the offering and the sacrifices for sin:
2 dia olona izay mahay mitondra mora ny tsy mahalala sy ny mania, satria ny tenany koa dia mba hodidinin’ ny fahalemena ihany;
and he can humble himself, and sympathize with the ignorant and the erring, because he also is clothed with infirmity.
3 ary noho izany dia tsy maintsy hanao fanatitra hanafaka ota ho an’ ny tenany koa izy, toy ny ataony ho an’ ny olona ihany.
And, therefore, he is obliged as for the people, so also for himself, to present an offering for his sins.
4 Ary tsy misy maka izany voninahitra izany ho an’ ny tenany afa-tsy izay antsoin’ Andriamanitra, tahaka an’ i Arona.
And no one taketh this honor on himself, but he who is called of God, as Aaron was.
5 Dia toy izany koa Kristy: tsy Izy no nanandratra ny tenany ho Mpisoronabe, fa Ilay nanao taminy hoe: “Zanako Hianao, Izaho niteraka Anao androany”;
So also the Messiah did not exalt himself to become a High Priest; but He appointed him who said to him, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
6 ary toy ny lazainy eo amin’ ny teny hafa koa hoe: “Hianao no Mpisorona mandrakizay Araka ny fanaon’ i Melkizedeka”. (aiōn g165)
As he said also in another place: Thou art a priest for ever, after the likeness of Melchisedec. (aiōn g165)
7 Tamin’ ny andron’ ny nofony, raha nanao fivavahana sy fangatahana nomban’ ny fitarainana mafy sy ny ranomaso be tamin’ izay nahavonjy Azy tamin’ ny fahafatesana Izy, sady voahaino noho ny fahatahorany an’ Andriamanitra,
Likewise, when he was clothed in flesh, he presented supplication and entreaty with intense invocation, and with tears, to him who was able to resuscitate him from death; and he was heard.
8 dia nianatra fanarahana tamin’ izay fahoriana nentiny Izy, na dia Zanaka aza;
And though he was a son, yet, from the fear and the sufferings he endured, he learned obedience.
9 ary rehefa natao tanteraka Izy, dia tonga loharanon’ ny famonjena mandrakizay ho an’ izay rehetra manaraka Azy, (aiōnios g166)
And thus he was perfected and became the cause of eternal life to all them who obey him. (aiōnios g166)
10 fa notononin’ Andriamanitra hoe Mpisoronabe “araka ny fanaon’ i Melkizedeka.”
And he was named of God, the High Priest after the likeness of Melchisedec.
11 Ny amin’ izany dia manana teny maro izahay sady sarotra ambara, satria lalodalovana ny sofinareo.
Now, concerning this person, Melchisedec, we have much discourse, which we might utter; but it is difficult to explain it, because ye are infirm in your hearing.
12 Fa na dia tokony ho efa mpampianatra aza ianareo noho ny fahelan’ ny andro, dia mbola mila izay hampianatra anareo ny abidim-pianaran’ ny tenin’ Andriamanitra indray; ary efa toy izay tokony homen-dronono ianareo, fa tsy ventin-kanina.
For ye ought to be teachers, seeing ye have been long in the doctrine. But now ye need to learn again the first lines of the commencement of the oracles of God: and ye have need of milk, and not of strong food.
13 Fa izay rehetra mivelona amin’ ny ronono dia tsy zatra amin’ ny tenin’ ny fahamarinana, satria mbola zaza-bodo.
For every one whose food is milk, is unversed in the language of righteousness, because he is a child.
14 Fa ho an’ izay efa lehibe ny ventin-kanina, dia ho an’ izay manana ny saina efa zatra nampiasaina tsara ka mahay manavaka ny tsara sy ny ratsy.
But strong food belongeth to the mature who, being investigators, have trained their faculties to discriminate good and evil.
