< Hebreo 4 >
1 Koa na dia mbola misy teny fikasana fa hiditra any amin’ ny fitsaharany aza isika, dia aoka isika hatahotra, fandrao mba misy eo aminareo toa tsy mahatratra izany.
Let us then, though we still have God's word that we may come into his rest, go in fear that some of you may be unable to do so.
2 Fa isika koa dia nitoriana filazantsara tahaka ireny ihany; kanefa ny teny izay efa reny dia tsy nahasoa azy, satria tsy niharo finoana tao amin’ izay nandre.
And, truly, the good news came to us, even as it did to them; but the hearing of the word did them no good, because they were not united in faith with the true hearers.
3 Fa isika izay nino no miditra amin’ izany fitsaharana izany, araka ny voalazany hoe: “Toy ny nianiako tamin’ ny fahatezerako hoe: Tsy hiditra amin’ ny fitsaharako mihitsy izy”, na dia vita hatramin’ ny nanorenana izao tontolo izao aza ny asa.
For those of us who have belief come into his rest; even as he has said, As I said in my oath when I was angry, They may not come into my rest: though the works were done from the time of the making of the world.
4 Fa nilaza ny andro fahafito Izy eo amin’ ny teny anankiray araka izao: “Ary Andriamanitra nitsahatra tamin’ ny asany rehetra tamin’ ny andro fahafito”.
For in one place he has said of the seventh day, And God had rest from all his works on the seventh day;
5 Ary amin’ izao koa: “Tsy hiditra amin’ ny fitsaharako mihitsy izy”.
And in the same place he says again, They will not come into my rest.
6 Koa satria mbola hiditra eo ihany ny sasany, ary izay nitoriana filazantsara tamin’ ny voalohany dia tsy niditra noho ny tsi-finoana,
So that as it is clear that some have to go in, and that the first hearers of the good news were not able to go in because they went against God's orders,
7 dia mametra andro anankiray indray Izy, na dia efa ela toy izany aza, milaza ao amin’ i Davida hoe: “Anio”, araka ny voalaza teo hoe: “Anio, raha hihaino ny feony ianareo Aza manamafy ny fonareo”
After a long time, again naming a certain day, he says in David, Today (as he had said before), Today if you will let his voice come to your ears, be not hard of heart,
8 Fa raha Josoa no nanome azy fitsaharana, dia tsy mba ho nilaza andro hafa Izy tao aorian’ izany.
For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have said anything about another day.
9 Koa dia mbola misy sabata fitsaharana ho an’ ny olon’ Andriamanitra.
So that there is still a Sabbath-keeping for the people of God.
10 Fa izay niditra tao amin’ ny fitsaharany, dia Izy koa no nitsahatra tamin’ ny asany, tahaka an’ Andriamanitra tamin’ ny Azy.
For the man who comes into his rest has had rest from his works, as God did from his.
11 Koa aoka isika hazoto hiditra amin’ izany fitsaharana izany, fandrao hisy olona latsaka amin’ ny tsi-finoana tahaka izany koa.
Because of this, let us have a strong desire to come into that rest, and let no one go after the example of those who went against God's orders.
12 Fa velona sy mahery ny tenin’ Andriamanitra ka maranitra noho ny sabatra roa lela, ka manindrona hatramin’ ny fampisarahana ny aina sy ny fanahy ary ny tonona sy ny tsoka, ka mahay mamantatra ny eritreritra sy ny fisainan’ ny fo.
For the word of God is living and full of power, and is sharper than any two-edged sword, cutting through and making a division even of the soul and the spirit, the bones and the muscles, and quick to see the thoughts and purposes of the heart.
13 Ary tsy misy zavatra ary na inona na inona izay tsy miseho eo anatrehany; fa ny zavatra rehetra dia mihanjahanja sy aharihary eo imason’ izay iafaran’ ny ataontsika.
And there is nothing made which is not completely clear to him; there is nothing covered, but all things are open to the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
14 Koa satria Isika manana Mpisoronabe lehibe, Izay lasa namaky ny lanitra, dia Jesosy, Zanak’ Andriamanitra, aoka isika hihazona ilay efa nekentsika.
Having then a great high priest, who has made his way through the heavens, even Jesus the Son of God, let us be strong in our faith.
15 Fa isika tsy manana mpisoronabe izay tsy mahay miara-mitondra ny fahalementsika, fa Izay efa nalaim-panahy tamin’ ny zavatra rehetra tahaka antsika, kanefa tsy nanana ota.
For we have not a high priest who is not able to be touched by the feelings of our feeble flesh; but we have one who has been tested in all points as we ourselves are tested, but without sin.
16 Koa aoka isika hanatona ny seza fiandrianan’ ny fahasoavana amin’ ny fahasahiana, mba hahazoantsika famindram-po sy hahitantsika fahasoavana ho famonjena amin’ izay andro mahory.
Then let us come near to the seat of grace without fear, so that mercy may be given to us, and we may get grace for our help in time of need.
