Genesisy 6

1 Ary raha vao nihamaro ny olona tambonin’ ny tany ka teraka zazavavy maro,

And it was that began humankind to become numerous on [the] surface of the ground and daughters they were born to them.

2 dia hitan’ ny zanak’ Andriamanitra fa tsara tarehy ny zanakavavin’ ny olona; ka dia nifidy vady ho azy tamin’ izy rehetra araka izay tiany izy.

And they saw [the] sons of God [the] daughters of humankind that [were] good they and they took for themselves wives from all whom they chose.

3 Ary hoy Jehovah: Tsy mba hanapaka mandrakariva ao amin’ ny olona ny Fanahiko, fa amin’ ny faniavany dia nofo izy; nefa ho roa-polo amby zato taona ny androny.

And he said Yahweh not will remain spirit my in humankind for ever in that also he [is] flesh and they will be days his one hundred and twenty year[s].

And he regretted Yahweh that he had made humankind on the earth and he was pained to heart his.

7 Dia hoy Jehovah: Haringako tsy hisy ambonin’ ny tany ny olona izay noforoniko, hatramin’ ny olona ka hatramin’ ny biby fiompy sy ny biby mandady na mikisaka mbamin’ ny voro-manidina; fa manenina Aho noho ny nanaovako azy.

And he said Yahweh I will wipe humankind which I created from on [the] surface of the ground from humankind unto animal[s] unto creeping thing[s] and unto [the] bird[s] of the heavens for I regret that I have made them.

8 Fa Noa kosa nahita fitia teo imason’ i Jehovah.

And Noah he found favor in [the] eyes of Yahweh.

9 Ary izao no tantaran’ i Noa: Noa dia lehilahy marina sady tsy nisy tsiny teo amin’ ny olona niara-belona taminy; eny, niara-nandeha tamin’ Andriamanitra Noa.

These [are] [the] accounts of Noah Noah [was] a man righteous blameless he was in generations his with God he walked about Noah.

13 Dia hoy Andriamanitra tamin’ i Noa: Ny faran’ ny nofo rehetra efa mby eto anatrehako, satria efa heni-doza ny tany noho ny amin’ olona, ka, indro, efa handringana azy mbamin’ ny tany Aho.

And he said God to Noah [the] end of all flesh [is] coming before me for is full the earth violence because of them and here [am] I about to destroy them with the earth.

14 Koa manaova sambo-fiara ho anao amin’ ny hazo gofera; ary hasianao efitrefitra ny sambo-fiara, ka hopetahanao dity ao anatiny sy eo ivelany izy.

Make for yourself an ark of wood of gopher nests you will make the ark and you will cover it from inside and from outside with pitch.

15 Ary toy izao no hanaovanao azy: hakiho telon-jato ny lavan’ ny sambo-fiara, hakiho dimam-polo ny sakany, ary hakiho telo-polo ny hahavony.

And this [is] how you will make it [will be] three hundred cubit[s] [the] length of the ark [will be] fifty cubit[s] breadth its and [will be] thirty cubit[s] height its.

16 Ary hasianao fidiran’ ny mazava ny sambo-fiara, ary amin’ ny hakiho iray no hahavitanao azy hatreo ambony; ary hasianao varavarana ny rindrin’ ny sambo-fiara; hataonao efitra telo mifanongoa izy.

A roof - you will make for the ark and to a cubit you will finish it from to above and [the] entrance of the ark in side its you will put lower [decks] second [decks] and third [decks] you will make it.

17 Ary, indro, Izaho efa hahatonga ny safo-drano ambonin’ ny tany handringana ny nofo rehetra izay manam-nofonaina ambanin’ ny lanitra; dia ho faty izay rehetra eo amin’ ny tany.

And I here I [am] about to bring the flood water on the earth to destroy all flesh which [is] in it [the] breath of life from under the heavens all that [is] on the earth will die.

18 Nefa kosa haoriko ny fanekeko aminao; ary hiditra ao anatin’ ny sambo-fiara ianao sy ny vadinao aman-janakao mbamin’ ny vinantonao vavy miaraka aminao.

And I will establish covenant my with you and you will go into the ark you and sons your and wife your and [the] wives of sons your with you.

19 Ary ny zava-manan’ aina rehetra, dia ny nofo rehetra, hitondranao roa avy isan-karazany ho ao anatin’ ny sambo-fiara, hovelomina miaraka aminao; ho lahy sy vavy avy ireo.

And of every living [thing] of all flesh two of everything you will bring into the ark to preserve alive with you male and female they will be.

20 Ny vorona, samy araka ny karazany avy; ary ny biby, samy araka ny karazany avy, ary ny biby rehetra izay mandady na mikisaka amin’ ny tany, samy araka ny karazany avy, dia, roa avy samy araka ny karazany avy, dia roa avy isan-karazany no hankeo aminao hovelomina.

Of the bird[s] to kind its and of the animal[s] to kind its from every creeping thing of the ground to kind its two of everything they will come to you to preserve alive.

21 Ary analao ho anao ny zavatra rehetra izay mety ho fihinana, ka angòny ho eo aminao; dia ho fihinana ho anao sy ho an’ ireo koa izany.

And you take for yourself some of all food which is eaten and you will gather [it] to yourself and it will become for you and for them food.

22 Dia nataon’ i Noa izany; araka izay rehetra nandidian’ Andriamanitra azy no nataony.

And he did Noah according to all that he commanded him God so he did.
