< Genesisy 41 >
1 Ary rehefa afaka roa taona mipaka, dia nanonofy Farao, fa, indro, nitsangana teo amoron’ i Neily izy.
And it came to pass at the end of two years of days, that, Pharaoh, was dreaming, when lo! he was standing by the river (Nile);
2 Koa, indreo, nisy ombivavy fito tsara tarehy sady matavy niakatra avy teo Neily ka nihinana teny amin’ ny bararata.
and lo! from the river, were coming up seven heifers, comely in appearance and fat in flesh, —and they fed among the rushes.
3 Ary indreo, nisy ombivavy fito hafa kosa ratsy tarehy sady mahia niakatra avy teo Neily nanaraka azy, ka dia nijanona teo anilan’ ireo ombivavy teo amoron’ i Neily.
And lo! seven heifers more coming up after them out of the river, uncomely in appearance and lean in flesh, —and they came and stood beside the heifers, by the lip of the river.
4 Ary ireo ombivavy ratsy tarehy sady mahia nihinana ireo ombivavy fito tsara tarehy sady matavy. Dia nahatsiaro Farao.
Then did the heifers that were uncomely in appearance, and lean in flesh, eat up, the seven heifers that were comely in appearance and fat. So Pharaoh awoke.
5 Ary natory indray izy ka nanonofy fanindroany; ary, indro, nisy salohim-bary fito niseho tamin’ ny tahony iray, sady vokatra no tsara.
And he fell asleep, and dreamed a second time, when lo! seven ears, coming up on one stalk fat and good;
6 Ary, indreo kosa, nisy salohim-bary fito maivam-boa sady main’ ny rivotra avy any atsinanana, niseho nanaraka ireny.
and lo! seven ears, lean and shrivelled by an east wind, coming up after them.
7 Ary ny salohim-bary maivam-boa nitelina ny salohim-vary fito vokatra sy be voa. Dia nahatsiaro Farao, koa indro fa nofy ihany izany.
Then did the lean ears swallow up the seven fat and full ears. So Pharaoh awoke and lo! it was a dream.
8 Ary nony maraina, dia nitebiteby ny fanahiny, ka dia naniraka nampaka ny ombiasy rehetra tao Egypta sy ny olon-kendry rehetra tao izy; ary nambaran’ i Farao tamin’ ireny ny nofiny, kanjo tsy nisy na dia iray aza nahalaza izay heviny tamin’ i Farao.
And it came to pass in the morning, that his spirit became restless, so he sent and called for all the sacred scribes of Egypt and all her wise men, —and Pharaoh related to them his dreams, but there was no one that could interpret them. to Pharaoh.
9 Dia niteny tamin’ i Farao ilay lehiben’ ny mpitondra kapoaka ka nanao hoe: Tsaroako izao ny fahadisoako:
Then spake the chief of the butlers with Pharaoh saying, My faults, would, I, mention this day.
10 Farao dia tezitra tamin’ ny mpanompony ka nanao ahy tao an-trano-maizina tao anatin’ ny tranon’ ny mpifehy ny mpiambina, dia izaho sy ilay lehiben’ ny mpanao mofo.
Pharaoh, was wroth with his servants, —and put them in the ward of the house of the chief of the royal executioners, me, and the chief of the bakers.
11 Ary nanonofy izahay indray alina, dia izaho sy izy; samy nanonofy araka ny hevitry ny nofinay avy izahay.
Then must we needs dream, a dream in one night, I and he, —each man, according to the interpretation of his dream, did we dream.
12 Ary tao aminay dia nisy zatovo Hebreo anankiray, mpanompon’ ny mpifehy ny mpiambina; dia nambaranay taminy ny nofinay, ka nolazainy taminay ny heviny; samy nilazany araka ny nofinay avy izahay.
And, there with us, was a young man, a Hebrew servant to the chief of the royal executioners, and we related to him, and he interpreted to us our dreams, —to each man—according to his dream, did he interpret,
13 Ary samy tonga araka izay efa nolazainy taminay indrindra izany: izaho nampodiny ho ao amin’ ilay nipetrahako, fa izy kosa nahantony.
And it came to pass as he interpreted to us, so, it happened, —me, he restored to mine office but him, he hanged.
14 Dia naniraka Farao ka nampaka an’ i Josefa, dia nalaina faingana niala tao an-davaka izy; ary nanaratra ny volom-bavany sy niova fitafiana izy, dia nankany amin’ i Farao.
Then sent Pharaoh and summoned Joseph, and they hastened him out of the dungeon, —so he shaved himself and changed his garments, and came in unto Pharaoh.
15 Ary hoy Farao tamin’ i Josefa: Nanonofy aho, koa tsy misy mahalaza ny heviny; ary izaho nahare fa ianao, hono, raha mandre nofy, dia mahalaza ny heviny.
And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, A dream, have I dreamed, but none can interpret it, —but, I, have heard say concerning thee, that on hearing a dream, thou canst interpret it.
16 Ary Josefa dia namaly an’ i Farao ka nanao hoe: Tsy ahy izany; Andriamanitra no hilaza izay valiny hiadanan’ i Farao.
And Joseph answered Pharaoh saying, Not to me, doth it pertain! May, God grant in answer, the prosperity of Pharaoh!
17 Ary hoy Farao tamin’ i Josefa: Nofiko fa indro, hono, nitsangana teo amoron’ i Neily aho;
Then spake Pharaoh unto Joseph, —In my dream, there was I, standing on the lip of the river;
18 koa, indreo, nisy ombivavy fito matavy sady tsara tarehy niakatra avy teo Neily; ary nihinana teny amin’ ny bararata ireny.
When lo! out of the river, were coming up seven heifers, fat in flesh and comely in form, —and they fed among the rushes.
19 Ary, indreo, nisy ombivavy fito hafa koa niakatra nanaraka ireny, mihozohozo sady ratsy tarehy indrindra no mahia, ka tsy mbola hitako izay ratsy toa azy teto amin’ ny tany Egypta rehetra.
And lo! seven other heifers, coming up after them, poor and very uncomely in form and lean in flesh, —I had never seen such in all the land of Egypt, for uncomeliness.
20 Ary ireo ombivavy fito mahia sady ratsy tarehy dia nihinana ireo ombivavy fito matavy izay nialoha azy.
Then did the lean and uncomely heifers eat up the first seven fat heifers;
21 Ary rehefa nihinana azy izy, dia tsy fantatra akory fa efa mby ao an-kibony ireny; fa mbola ratsy tarehy tahaka ny tamin’ ny fahiny ihany izy. Dia nahatsiaro aho.
and they passed into their stomach yet could it not be known that they had passed into them, their appearance, being uncomely, as at the beginning. So I awoke.
22 Ary hitako tamin’ ny nofiko indray, ka, indreo nisy salohim-bary fito niseho tamin’ ny tahony iray, sady vokatra no tsara;
Then looked I in my dream, —And lo! seven ears, coming up on one stalk, full and good;
23 ary, indreo kosa, nisy salohim-bary fito sady malazo no maivam-boa, main’ ny rivotra avy any atsinanana, niseho nanaraka ireny;
And lo! seven ears, withered lean shrivelled by an east wind growing up after them.
24 ary ny salohim-bary maivam-boa dia nitelina ny salohim-bary fito vokatra. Ary nolazaiko tamin’ ny ombiasy izany, nefa tsy nisy nahalaza ny heviny tamiko.
Then did the lean ears swallow up, the seven good ears. So I told [these things] unto the sacred scribes, but there was none that could explain [them] to me.
25 Ary hoy Josefa tamin’ i Farao: Ny nofin’ i Farao dia iray ihany; izay efa hataon’ Andriamanitra no nambarany tamin’ i Farao.
Then said Joseph unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh, is, one. What God is about to do hath he announced to Pharaoh.
26 Ny ombivavy fito tsara tarehy dia fito taona; ary ny salohim-bary fito vokatra koa dia fito taona; iray ihany ny nofy.
The seven good heifers, are, seven years, and, the seven good ears are, seven years, —the dream, is, one.
27 Ary ny ombivavy fito mahia sady ratsy tarehy, izay niakatra nanaraka ireny, dia fito taona; ary ny salohim-bary fito tsy nisy voa sady main’ ny rivotra avy any atsinanana, dia ho fito taona mosarena.
And the seven lean and uncomely heifers that were coming up after them, are seven years, and the seven lean ears, shrivelled by an east wind, will turn out to be—seven years of famine.
28 Izany dia ilay efa nolazaiko tamin’ i Farao teo hoe: Izay efa hataon’ Andriamanitra no asehony amin’ i Farao.
The very word that I spake unto Pharaoh, what, God, is about to do, hath he showed unto Pharaoh.
29 Indro, hisy fito taona zina indrindra eran’ ny tany Egypta rehetra;
Lo! seven years, coming in, —of great plenty, in all the land of Egypt.
30 ary manaraka izany kosa dia hisy fito taona mosarena, ka ho hadino ny fahavokarana be rehetra teo amin’ ny tany Egypta ary ho ritry ny mosary ny tany;
Then shall arise seven years of famine, after them, so shall be forgotten all the plenty in the land of Egypt, —and the famine shall consume the land;
31 ary ny fahavokarana eo amin’ ny tany tsy ho fantatra noho izany mosary manaraka azy izany; fa ho mafy indrindra izany.
neither shall the plenty in the land be discernible, because of that famine coming after, —for it shall be, very severe.
32 Ary naverina indroa ny nofin’ i Farao, satria efa voatendrin’ Andriamanitra izany zavatra izany ka hotanterahin’ Andriamanitra faingana.
And for that there was a repeating of the dream unto Pharaoh, twice, it is because the thing, is established, from God, and God is hastening to do it.
33 Koa ankehitriny aoka Farao hizaha lehilahy manan-tsaina sady hendry ka hanendry azy hanapaka ny tany Egypta.
Now, therefore, let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, —and set him over the land of Egypt.
34 Aoka hanao izany Farao, ary aoka izy hanendry mpikarakara hitandrina ny tany sy hamory ny ampahadimin’ ny vokatry ny tany Egypta amin’ ny taon-jina fito.
Let Pharaoh do this, that he may appoint overseers over the land, —so shall he take up a fifth of the land of Egypt, during the seven years of plenty.
35 Ary aoka izy ireo hanangona ny hanina rehetra amin’ ireo taona tsara ho avy ireo ka hamory vary be amin’ ny anaran’ i Farao ho fihinana any amin’ ny tanana maro, ka aoka hitahiry izany izy
And let them gather up all the food of these seven good years that are coming in, —and let them heap up corn under the hand of Pharaoh as food in cities so shall they keep it.
36 Ary aoka izany hanina izany hotehirizina ao amin’ ny tany ho amin’ ny fito taona mosarena, izay ho tonga amin’ ny tany Egypta, mba tsy ho simban’ ny mosary ny tany.
So shall the food become a store for the land, for the seven years of famine which shall come about in the land of Egypt, —and the land shall not be cut off in the famine.
37 Ary sitrak’ i Farao sy ny mpanompony rehetra izany hevitra izany.
And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, —and in the eyes of all his servants;
38 Dia hoy Farao tamin’ ny mpanompony: Hahita lehilahy tahaka io, izay manana ny Fanahin’ Andriamanitra ao anatiny, va isika?
and Pharaoh said unto his servants, —Can we find such a one, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?
39 Ary hoy koa Farao tamin’ i Josefa: Satria efa nampahafantarin’ Andriamanitra anao izany rehetra izany, dia tsy misy lehilahy manan-tsaina sady hendry tahaka anao;
So Pharaoh said unto Joseph, After God hath made known unto thee all this, there is no one discreet and wise like thee.
40 koa ianao no hanapaka ny ato an-tranoko, ary araka ny teninao no hitondrana ny oloko rehetra; ny seza fiandrianana ihany no hahalehibe ahy noho ianao.
Thou, shalt be over my house, and on thy mouth, shall all my people kiss, —only as to the throne, will I be greater than thou.
41 Ary hoy indray Farao tamin’ i Josefa: Indro, efa nanendry anao hanapaka ny tany Egypta rehetra aho.
And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, —See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.
42 Dia nesorin’ i Farao ny peratra tamin’ ny tanany ka nataony tamin’ ny tànan’ i Josefa, dia nampitafiny rongony fotsy madinika izy, ary nasiany rojo volamena ny vozony;
So Pharaoh took his ring from off his hand and put it upon Joseph’s hand, —and clothed him in garments of fine linen, and put the chain of gold upon his neck;
43 dia nampitaingeniny teo anatin’ ny kalesiny faharoa izy, ary ny vahoaka niantso teo alohany nanao hoe: Mandohaleha; ary notendreny ho mpanapaka ny tany Egypta rehetra izy.
and made him ride in the second chariot which belonged to him, and they cried out before him. Bow the knee! thus setting him over all the land of Egypt.
44 Ary hoy Farao tamin’ i Josefa: Izaho no Farao, ary raha tsy teninao, dia tsy hisy olona hanetsika ny tànany na ny tongony eto amin’ ny tany Egypta rehetra.
And Pharaoh said unto Joseph. I, am Pharaoh, Without thee, therefore shall no man raise his hand or his foot in all the land of Egypt.
45 Ary nataon’ i Farao hoe Zafenata-panea no anaran’ i Josefa; dia nomeny azy Asenata, zanakavavin’ i Poti-fera, mpisorona tao Ona, ho vadiny. Ary Josefa nandeha nitety ny tany Egypta.
And Pharaoh called Joseph’s name Zaphenath-paneah, and gave him Asenath daughter of Poti-phera priest of On, to wife, —and Joseph went forth over the land of Egypt.
46 Ary efa telo-polo taona Josefa, raha niseho teo anatrehan’ i Farao, mpanjakan’ i Egypta. Dia niala teo anatrehan’ i Farao Josefa ka nandeha nitety ny tany Egypta rehetra.
Now, Joseph, was thirty years old, when he took his station, before Pharaoh king of Egypt. So Joseph went forth from before Pharaoh, and passed along through all the land of Egypt.
47 Ary ny tany dia nahavokatra tsy omby fàmpana tamin’ ny taon-jina fito.
And the land produced, in the seven years of plenty, by handfuls,
48 Dia namory ny hanina rehetra tamin’ izany fito taona izany teo amin’ ny tany Egypta izy ka nitahiry izany tao amin’ ny tanàna rehetra: ny vokatry ny saha manodidina ny isan-tanàna dia notehiriziny tao anatin’ ny tanàna.
And he gathered up all the food of the seven years in which there was plenty in the land of Egypt, and laid up food in cities—the food of the fields of the city. which were round about it, laid he up within it.
49 Ary Josefa namory vary tahaka ny fasika any an-dranomasina, eny, be indrindra, ka tsy nanisa intsony izy, satria efa tsy hita isa.
Thus did Joseph heap up corn like the sand of the sea making it exceeding abundant, —until one hath left off reckoning, because it cannot be reckoned.
50 Ary nisy zazalahy roa naterak’ i Asenata, zanakavavin’ i Poti-fera, mpisorona tao Ona, tamin’ i Josefa, raha tsy mbola tonga ny taona mosarena.
Now to Joseph, were born two sons, ere yet came in the year of famine, —whom Asenath daughter of Poti-phera priest of On, bare to him.
51 Ary ny anaran’ ny lahimatoa dia nataon’ i Josefa hoe Manase; fa hoy izy: Andriamanitra efa nampanadino ahy ny fahoriako rehetra sy izay rehetra tao an-tranon’ ny raiko.
And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh, —For God hath made me forget all my trouble, and all the house of my father.
52 Ary ny anaran’ ny zandriny kosa nataony hoe Efraima; fa hoy izy: Andriamanitra efa nahamaro ahy teto amin’ ny tanin’ ny fahoriako.
And, the name of the second, called he Ephraim, For God hath made me fruitful in the land of my humiliation.
53 Ary tapitra ny taon-jina fito teo amin’ ny tany Egypta;
Then came to an end the seven years of the plenty, —which was in the land of Egypt;
54 dia niandoha kosa ny fito taona mosarena, araka izay efa nolazain’ i Josefa; ary nisy mosary tany amin’ ny tany rehetra; nefa eran’ ny tany Egypta rehetra dia mbola nisy hanina ihany.
and the seven years of famine began to come in, according as Joseph had said, —and it came to pass that there was a famine in all the lands, but in all the land of Egypt, there was bread.
55 Ary rehefa mosarena ny tany Egypta rehetra, dia nitaraina nangataka hanina tamin’ i Farao ny olona; ary hoy Farao tamin’ ny Egyptiana rehetra: Mankanesa any amin’ i Josefa; ary izay holazainy aminareo dia ataovy.
Yet was famine felt in all the land of Egypt, and the people made outcry; unto Pharaoh for bread, —and Pharaoh said to all Egypt, —Go ye unto Joseph, that which he saith to you, shall ye do.
56 Ary ny mosary dia tany amin’ ny tany rehetra. Ary Josefa namoha ny trano fitehirizam-bary ka nivaro-bary tamin’ ny Egyptiana.
Now, the famine, was over all the face of the land, —so Joseph opened all [places] wherein it was and sold corn to the Egyptians, and the famine laid fast hold of the land of Egypt.
57 Ary ny tany rehetra nankany Egypta ho any amin’ i Josefa mba hividy vary; fa efa mafy ny mosary tany amin’ ny tany rehetra.
All the earth also, came in to Egypt to buy corn, unto Joseph, —because the famine had laid fast hold on all the earth.
