< Ezekiela 35 >

1 Ary tonga tamiko ny tenin’ i Jehovah nanao hoe:
Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2 Ry zanak’ olona, manandrifia ny tendrombohitra Seïra, ka maminania ny hamelezana azy,
Son of man, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it,
3 dia ataovy aminy hoe: Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah Tompo: Indro, avy hamely anao Aho, ry tendrombohitra Seïra, ary hahinjitro aminao ny tanako, ka hataoko foana sy lao ianao.
And say unto it, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I [am] against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate.
4 Ny tanànanao hataoko korontam-bato, ary ianao ho lao; Ka dia ho fantatrao fa Izaho no Jehovah.
I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I [am] the LORD.
5 Noho ny fandrafianao hatry ny fony ela sy ny nanoloranao ny zanak’ Isiraely ho fatin’ ny sabatra, fony tamin’ ny andro nahitany loza, dia ny fotoan’ ny heloka mahafaty,
Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed [the blood of] the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time [that their] iniquity [had] an end:
6 Dia izao no lazain’ i Jehovah: Raha velona koa Aho, dia hataoko manjary rà ianao, ary rà no hanenjika anao; Satria tsy nankahalainao ny rà, dia rà kosa no hanenjika anao.
Therefore, [as] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee.
7 Hataoko foana sy lao ny tendrombohitra Seïra, sady hataoko tsy misy intsony ny mandroso sy ny miverina,
Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth.
8 Ary hofenoiko ny olony voavono ny tendrombohiny; Eny, ao amin’ ny havoananao sy ny lohasahanao Ary amoron’ ny lohasahan-driakanao rehetra no hiampatramparan’ izay voatrabaky ny sabatra.
And I will fill his mountains with his slain [men: ] in thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword.
9 Hataoko rava mandrakizay ianao, ary tsy honenana intsony ny tanànanao; Ka dia ho fantatrareo fa Izaho no Jehovah.
I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD.
10 Ary noho ny nanaovanao hoe: Ireto firenena roa ireto sy ireto tany roa ireto dia ho ahy avokoa, Ka hanana azy izahay kanefa teo ihany Jehovah
Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD was there:
11 Dia izao no lazain’ i Jehovah: Raha velona koa Aho, dia hanao araka ny fahatezeranao sy ny fialonanao Aho, izay nataonao noho ny fandrafianao azy; Ary hampahafantariko ao aminy ny tenako amin’ ny hitsarako anao.
Therefore, [as] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee.
12 Ka dia ho fantatrao fa Izaho Jehovah no efa nandre ny fanaratsiana, izay nolazainao ny amin’ ireny tendrombohitry ny Isiraely hoe: Foana ireny ka nomena anay ho fivelomanay.
And thou shalt know that I [am] the LORD, [and that] I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.
13 Ary nanao teny miavonavona namely Ahy ianareo sy nanamaro ny teninareo namely Aha; efa reko izany.
Thus with your mouth ye have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard [them].
14 Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah Tompo: Rehefa mifaly ny tany rehetra, dia hofoanako kosa ianao,
Thus saith the Lord GOD; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate.
15 Toy ny nifalianao ny amin’ ny lovan’ ny taranak’ Isirady, satria nofoanana ireny, dia toy izany kosa no hataoko aminao: Ho foana ianao, ry tendrombohitra Seïra sy Edoma rehetra; Ka dia ho fantatra fa Izaho no Jehovah.
As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, [even] all of it: and they shall know that I [am] the LORD.
