Ezekiela 28
1 Ary tonga tamiko ny tenin’ i Jehovah nanao hoe;
The word of Jehovah came again to me, saying:
2 Ry zanak’ olona, lazao amin’ ny mpanjakan’ i Tyro hoe: Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah Tompo: Satria miavonavona ny fonao, ka hoy ianao: Mba Andriamanitra koa aho; eto amin’ ny anankiray amin’ ny fipetrahan’ Andriamanitra no ipetrahako, dia eto ampovoan’ ny ranomasina. Nefa olona ihany ianao, fa tsy Andriamanitra tsinona, Na dia nataonao toy ny fon’ Andriamanitra aza ny fonao,
Son of man, say to the prince of Tyre, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thy heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, “I am a god, I sit in the seat of a god, in the midst of the seas”; and though thou art man, not God, yet settest thy heart as the heart of a god, —
3 Hay! hendry noho Daniela ianao! Tsy misy zava-miafina azo afenina anao izany!
behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret which can be hidden from thee;
4 Ny fahendrenao sy ny fahalalanao no nahazoanao haren. Eny, izany no nahazoanao volamena sy volafotsy ho ao amin’ ny rakitrao
by thy wisdom and by thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver in thy treasures;
5 Ny haben’ ny fahendrenao tamin’ ny varotrao no nampitomboanao ny harenao, ka dia miavonavona ny fonao noho ny harenao;
by thy great wisdom, by thy traffic, thou hast increased thy riches, and thy heart is lifted up because of thy wealth, —
6 Koa, indro, izao no lazain’ i Jehovah Tompo: Satria efa nataonao ho toy ny fon’ Andriamanitra ny fonao,
therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thou settest thy heart as the heart of a god, therefore,
7 Dia, indro, hitondra olona hafa firenena Aho hamely anao, dia izay masiaka indrindra amin’ ny firenena, Ka hotsoahany ny sabany hamelezany ny fahendrenao tsara, ary hataony matroka ny famirapiratanao
behold, I will bring upon thee strangers, the terrible of the nations; and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.
8 Havariny ho any an-davaka ianao, ka ho faty toy ny fahafatesan’ izay voatrabaka ao amin’ ny ranomasina.
They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the death of the slain, in the midst of the seas.
9 Moa mbola hitompo teny fantatra va ianao eo imason’ izay mamono anao hoe mba Andriamanitra koa aho? Nefa olona ihany ianao, fa tsy Andriamanitra tsinona, raha mby eo an-tànan’ izay manatrabaka anao
Wilt thou yet say, “I am a god,” before him that slayeth thee? Thou shalt be man, and not God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.
10 Tahaka ny fahafatesan’ ny tsy voafora no hahafatesan’ ny fahavalo anao; Fa Izaho no niteny izany, hoy Jehovah Tompo.
Thou shalt die the death of the uncircumcised, by the hand of strangers; for I have spoken it, saith the Lord Jehovah.
11 Ary tonga tamiko ny tenin’ i Jehovah nanao hoe:
Moreover, the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
12 Ry zanak’ olona, manaova hira fahalahelovana ny amin’ ny mpanjakan’ i Tyro, ka lazao aminy hoe: Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah Tompo: Ry ilay mahatanteraka ny rafitra tsara tarehy tonga marika sady feno fahendrena no tena tsara tarehy,
Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyre, and say to him, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: —Thou wast a finished signet, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty;
13 Tany Edena, sahan’ Andriamanitra, ianao; Ny vato soa rehetra ny eloelo teo amboninao, dia ny karneola, ny topaza, ny onyksa, ny krysolita, ny beryla, ny jaspy, ny safira, ny robina, ny emeralda ary ny volamena; Ny fampanenoana ny ampongatapakao sy ny sodinao dia tao aminao, tamin’ ny andro namoronana anao dia natao koa ireo.
In Eden, the garden of God, thou didst dwell; Every precious stone was thy covering, The ruby, the topaz, and the diamond, The chrysolite, the onyx, and the jasper, The sapphire, the carbuncle, and the emerald, and gold. The workmanship of thy jewel-holes was within thee; On the day when thou wast born were they prepared.
14 Hianao dia kerobima voahosotra izay manaloka, fa voatendriko ianao; Tao an-tendrombohitra masin’ Andriamanitra ianao; Tao amin’ ny vato mirehitra no nitsangantsangananao.
Thou wast an outspread, covering cherub; I set thee upon the holy mountain of God; Thou didst walk in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 Tsy nanan-tsiny ianao tamin’ ny nalehanao hatramin’ ny andro namoronana anao ka mandra-pahita heloka tao aminao.
Thou wast prosperous in thy ways from the day that thou wast born Until iniquity was found in thee.
16 Noho ny habetsahan’ ny varotra nataonao dia nofenoina loza tao aminao, ka nanota ianao; Ary dia nolotoiko ka nariako niala tamin’ ny tendrombohitr’ Andriamanitra ianao, Ary nosimbako ianao, ry kerobima manaloka, hiala tao amin’ ny vato mirehitra.
Through the abundance of thy merchandise thou art full of injustice; And thou hast sinned; Therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God, And I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
17 Niavonavona ny fonao noho ny hatsaran-tarehinao; Efa nahasimba ny fahendrenao mbamin’ ny famirapiratanao ianao; Nazerako eny an-tany ianao sady natolotro ho fitalanjonan’ ireo mpanjaka,
Thy heart was lifted up because of thy beauty; Thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy splendor; I will cast thee to the ground; I will give thee up to kings to be their gazing-stock.
18 Noho ny haben’ ny helokao tamin’ ny tsi-fahamarinan’ ny varotrao, dia voalotonao ny fitoeranao masìna; Koa izany no hamoahako afo avy ao aminao handevona anao, ary hataoko tonga lavenona eny ambonin’ ny tany ianao eo imason’ izay rehetra mijery anao.
By the multitude of thine iniquities, by the unrighteousness of thy traffic, Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries. Therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, which shall devour thee, And I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth, In the sight of all them that behold thee.
19 Ny firenena rehetra izay mahalala anao dia ho gaga anao; Ho tonga fampitahorana ianao ary tsy ho ao intsony mandrakizay.
All they that know thee among the nations shall be astonished at thee; Thou art become a desolation, and shalt exist no more forever.
20 Ary tonga tamiko ny tenin’ i Jehovah nanao hoe:
Again the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:
21 Ry zanak’ olona, manandrifia an’ i Sidona, dia maminania ny hamelezana azy,
Son of man, set thy face against Sidon, and prophesy against her,
22 ka ataovy hoe: Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah Tompo: Indro, efa hamely anao Aho, ry Sidona, ary hankalazaina ao ampovoanao Aho; Ka dia ho fantatra fa Izaho no Jehovah, raha manatanteraka ny fitsarana azy Aho ka miseho ho masìna amin’ ny ataoko aminy.
and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, O Sidon, and I will be glorified in the midst of thee, and they shall know that I am Jehovah, when I execute judgments in her, and am sanctified in her.
23 Fa hahatonga areti-mandringana hamely azy Aho ary rà ho eny an-dalambeny; Dia hiampatrampatra eny aminy ny voatrabaky ny sabatra izay mamely avy eny manodidina eny; Ka dia ho fantatra fa Izaho no Jehovah.
I will send upon her pestilence, and blood into her streets, and the wounded shall fall in the midst of her by the sword which is against her on every side; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.
24 Ary tsy hisy roy mampangirifiry na tsilo mampanaintaina intsony ho an’ ny taranak’ Isiraely, avy amin’ ireo manodidina azy, izay manao tsinontsinona azy; Ka dia ho fantatra fa Izaho no Jehovah Tompo.
And there shall be no more to the house of Israel a pricking brier, or a grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord Jehovah.
25 Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah Tompo: Raha angoniko avy any amin’ ny firenena izay nampielezana azy ny taranak’ Isiraely, dia hiseho ho masìna eo imason’ ny firenena Aho amin’ ny ataoko aminy, ka honina any aminy taniny izay nomeko an’ i Jakoba mpanompoko izy.
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: When I shall gather the house of Israel from the nations among which they are scattered, then shall I be sanctified through them in the sight of the nations, and they shall dwell in the land which I gave to my servant Jacob.
26 Dia handry fahizay any izy ka hanorina trano sy hanao tanim-boaloboka; eny, handry fahizay izy amin’ ny anatanterahako ny fitsarana ireo rehetra manodidina azy izay manao tsinontsinona azy; ka dia ho fantatra fa Izaho no Jehovah Andriamaniny.
They shall dwell therein securely, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards, yea, they shall dwell securely when I have executed judgments on all that despised them round about; and they shall know that I am Jehovah, their God.
