< Ezekiela 21 >

1 Dia tonga tamiko ny tenin’ i Jehovah nanao hoe:
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
2 Ry zanak’ olona, manandrifia an’ i Jerosalema, ary mitenena manandrify ny fitoerana masìna, ka maminania ny amin’ ny hamelezana ny tanin’ ny Isiraely.
Therefore prophesy, son of man, set your face steadfastly toward Jerusalem, and look toward their holy places, and you shall prophesy against the land of Israel,
3 Ary ataovy amin’ ny tanin’ ny Isiraely hoe: Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah: Indro, Izaho no mamely anao, ary hotsoahako amin’ ny tranony ny sabatro, ka haringako ny marina sy ny meloka eo aminao.
and you shall say to the land of Israel, Thus says the Lord; Behold, I am against you, and I will draw forth my sword out of its sheath, and I will destroy out of you the transgressor and unrighteous.
4 Ary noho ny handringanako ny marina sy ny meloka eo aminao, dia izany no hitsoahan’ ny sabatro amin’ ny tranony hamely ny nofo rehetra hatrany atsimo ka hatrany avaratra,
Because I will destroy out of you the unrighteous and the transgressor, [therefore] so shall my sword come forth out of its sheath against all flesh from the south to the north:
5 Ka dia ho fantatry ny nofo rehetra fa Izaho Jehovah no nanatsoaka ny sabatro tamin’ ny tranony; Tsy hiditra intsony izy.
and all flesh shall know that I the Lord have drawn forth my sword out of its sheath: it shall not return any more.
6 Ary ianao, ry zanak’ olona, midridridridria toy ny tapa-balahana, eny, midridridridria amin’ ny fangidiana eo imasony.
And you, son of man, groan with the breaking of your loins; you shall even groan heavily in their sight.
7 Ary raha izy manao aminao hoe: Nahoana ianao no midridridridry? Dia valio hoe: Noho ny teny efa re, fa ho avy izany, ho kivy ny fo rehetra, hiraviravy ny tanana rehetra, ary hivarahontsana ny fanahy rehetra, sady hanjary ho toy ny rano ny lohalika rehetra. Eny, ho avy izany ka ho tanteraka, hoy Jehovah Tompo;
And it shall come to pass, if they shall say to you, Therefore do you groan? that you shall say, For the report; because it comes: and every heart shall break, and all hands shall become feeble, and all flesh and every spirit shall faint, and all thighs shall be defiled with moisture: behold, it comes, says the Lord.
8 Dia tonga tamiko ay tenin’ i Jehovah nanao hoe:
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
9 Ry zanak’ olona, maminania, ka ataovy hoe: Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah: Injao! sabatra! sabatra re! Voaranitra sady voafotsy koa.
Son of man, prophesy, and you shall say, Thus says the Lord; Say, Sword, sword, be sharpened and rage,
10 Voaranitra hahafaty be izy; Voafotsy hanelatselatra izy (Sa isika hifaly hoe: Ny tsorakazon’ ny zanako mamingavinga ny hazo rehetra?)
that you may kill victims; be sharpened that you may be bright, ready for slaughter, kill, set at nothing, despise every tree.
11 Ary nomena hofotsiana izy Mba horaisin-tanana; Voaranitra io sabatra io sady voafotsy, Mba hatolotra eo an-tanan’ ny mpamono.
And he made it ready for his hand to hold: the sword is sharpened, it is ready to put into the hand of the slayer.
12 Mitomania sy midradradradrà, ry zanak’ olona! Fa mihatra amin’ ny oloko izany, dia amin’ ny lehibe rehetra amin’ ny Isiraely; Lavon’ ny sabatra miaraka amin’ ny oloko izy, koa misafoa sirana ianao;
Cry out and howl, son of man: for this [sword] is come upon my people, this [sword is come] upon all the princes of Israel: they shall be as strangers: [judgment] with the sword is come upon my people: therefore clap your hands, for sentence has been passed:
13 Fa vita ny fizahan-toetra, Ka manao ahoana, raha ilay tehim-panjakana namingavinga iny aza no ho tonga tsinontsinona? hoy Jehovah Tompo.
and what if even the tribe be rejected? it shall not be, says the Lord God.
14 Ary ianao, ry zanak’ olona, dia maminania, ka mitehafa tanana, ary aoka hihaloza roa heny, na telo heny aza, ny sabatra, dia ny sabatra izay efa nahatrabaka olona; Eny, ny sabatra izay efa nahatrabaka ny andriana no manemitra azy.
And you, son of man, prophesy, and clap your hands, and take a second sword: the third sword is [the sword] of the slain, the great sword of the slain: and you shall strike them with amazement, lest the heart should faint
15 Nahebihebiko teny amin’ ny vavahadiny rehetra ny sabatra, mba hahakivy ny fo sy hahatonga fahatafintohinana maro. Indrisy! nataoko nanelatselatra izy sady voaranitra hamono.
and the weak ones be multiplied at every gate—they are given up to the slaughter of the sword: it is well fitted for slaughter, it is well fitted for glittering.
16 Miomana, ka mandrosoa eo ankavanana ianao, mijoroa, ka mandrosoa eo an-kavia, amin’ izay voatendry hamelezanao na aiza na aiza.
And do you go on, sharpen yourself on the right and on the left wherever your face may set itself.
17 Hiteha-tanana koa Aho ary hiala fo; Izaho Jehovah no nilaza izany.
And I also will clap my hands, and let loose my fury: I the Lord have spoken [it].
18 Ary tonga tamiko ny tenin’ i Jehovah hoe:
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
19 Hianao, ry zanak’ olona, manaova lalana roa ho anao hihavian’ ny sabatry ny mpanjakan’ i Babylona; avy amin’ ny tany iray no hihavian’ izy roa; ka manaova sarin’ ny famantaran-dalana, eo an-tsampanan-dalana mankany amin’ ny tanàna no anaovinao azy.
and you, son of man, appoint you two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may enter in: the two shall go forth of one country; and [there shall be] a force at the top of the way of the city, you shall set [it] at the top of the way,
20 Manaova lalana hihavian’ ny sabatra ho any Raban’ ny taranak’ i Amona sy ho any ny Joda ao Jerosalema mimanda.
that the sword may enter in upon Rabbath of the children of Ammon, and upon Judea, and upon Jerusalem in the midst thereof.
21 Fa ny mpanjakan’ i Babylona mijanona eo amin’ ny sampanan-dalana, dia eo an-dohan’ ny lalana roa, mba hanao sikidy; dia manetsiketsika ny zana-tsipìka izy ary manontany amin’ ny sampy sy mizaha amin’ ny atin-kena.
For the king of Babylon shall stand on the old way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination, to make bright the arrow, and to enquire of the graven images, and to examine [the victims].
22 Mby eo an-tànany ankavanana ny sikidy, dia ny ho an’ i Jerosalema, mba hametraka lohondry vy fandravana, hisoka-bava hiantsoantso, hanandra-peo amin’ ny akoran’ ady, hametraka lohondry vy fandravana eo akaikin’ ny vavahady, hanandratra tovon-tany sy tilikambo.
On his right was the divination against Jerusalem, to cast a mound, to open the mouth in shouting, to lift up the voice with crying, to cast a mound against her gates, to cast up a heap, and to build forts.
23 Nefa tahaka ny sikidy lainga izany eo imason’ ireny izay efa nianiana mafy, nefa Jehovah no mampahatsiaro ny helony mba hisamborana azy.
And he was to them as one using divination before them, and he himself recounting his iniquities, that they might be borne in mind.
24 Koa izao no lazain’ i Jehovah Tompo: Noho ny nampahatsiarovanareo ny helokareo tamin’ ny nampiharihariana ny fahadisoanareo mba hampisehoana ny fahotanareo tamin’ izay rehetra nataonareo, noho ny nahatsiarovana anareo dia hosamborin-tanana ianareo.
Therefore thus says the Lord, Because you have caused your iniquities to be remembered, in the discovery of your wickedness, so that your sins should be seen, in all your wickedness and in your [evil] practices; because you have caused remembrance [of them], in these shall you be taken.
25 Ary ianao, ry ilay ratsy fanahy voatrabaka, dia ilay mpanjakan’ ny Isiraely, izay tapitra andro amin’ ny fotoan’ ny heloka mahafaty,
And you profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day, [even] an end, is come in a sea of iniquity, thus says the Lord;
26 izao no lazain’ i Jehovah Tompo Hesorina ny hamama, ary halàna ny satro-boninahitra, tsy ho ao intsony ireo; hasandratra ny iva, ary haetry ny avo.
You have taken off the mitre and put on the crown, it shall not have such [another] after it: you have abased that which was high, and exalted that which was low.
27 Havadiko, havadiko, havadiko izany; fa izany koa aza dia tsy mba haharitra mandra-pahatongan’ izay tena tompony tokoa, ka homeko azy izany.
Injustice, injustice, injustice, will I make it: woe to it: such shall it be until he comes to whom it belongs; and I will deliver [it] to him.
28 Ary ianao, ry zanak’ olona, dia maminania, ka ataovy hoe: Izao no lazain’ i Jehovah Tompo: Ny amin’ ny taranak’ i Amona sy ny latsa ataony, dia ataovy hoe: Indro sabatra! Dia sabatra voatsoaka hamono! Voafotsy handringana sy hanelatselatra izy
And you, son of man, prophesy, and you shall say, Thus says the Lord, concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their reproach; and you shall say, O sword, sword, drawn for slaughter, and drawn for destruction, awake, that you may gleam.
29 (Raha mahita zava-poana ho anao izy sy maminany lainga aminao) Handavoany anao ao amin’ ny vozon’ ny ratsy fanahy voatrabaka, Izay tapitra andro amin’ ny fotoan’ ny heloka mahafaty.
While you are seeing vain [visions], and while you are prophesying falsehoods, to bring yourself upon the necks of ungodly transgressors, the day is come, [even] an end, in a season of iniquity.
30 Ampidiro amin’ ny tranony izy. Any amin’ ny tany namoronana anao, dia any amin’ ny tany nahaterahanao, no hitsarako anao.
Turn, rest not in this place wherein you were born: in your own land will I judge you.
31 Ary haidiko aminao ny fahavinirako, ny afon’ ny fahatezerako no hotsofiko aminao, ka hatolotro eo an-tànan’ ny olona ketrina.
And I will pour out my wrath upon you, I will blow upon you with the fire of my wrath, and I will deliver you into the hands of barbarians skilled in working destruction.
32 Sy izay mpamorona fandringanana ianao, Dia ho kitain’ ny afo ianao; Ho eny amin’ ny tany ny rànao; Tsy hotsaroana ianao; Fa Izaho Jehovah no niteny izany.
You shall be fuel for fire; your blood shall be in the midst of your land; there shall be no remembrance at all of you: for I the Lord have spoken [it].
