< Eksodosy 6 >
1 Ary hoy Jehovah tamin’ i Mosesy: Ankehitriny ho hitanao izay hataoko amin’ i Farao; fa ny tanako mahery no handefasany azy, ary ny tanako mahery no handroahany azy amin’ ny taniny.
Adonai said to Moses [Drawn out], “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh, for by a strong hand he shall let them go, and by a strong hand he shall divorce them out of his land.”
2 Ary Andriamanitra niteny tamin’ i Mosesy ka nanao hoe: Izaho no Jehovah;
God spoke to Moses [Drawn out], and said to him, “I am Adonai;
3 ary tamin’ ny anarako hoe ANDRIAMANITRA TSITOHA no nisehoako tamin’ i Abrahama sy Isaka ary Jakoba, fa ny anarako hoe JEHOVAH tsy mbola nahafantarany Ahy,
and I appeared to Abraham [Father of a multitude], to Isaac [Laughter], and to Jacob [Supplanter], as El Shaddai [God Almighty]; but by my name Adonai I was not known to them.
4 Ary naoriko taminy koa ny fanekeko hanomezako azy ny tany Kanana, dia ny tany fivahiniany izay efa nivahiniany.
I have also established my covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties· with them, to give them the land of Canaan [Humbled], the land of their travels, in which they lived as aliens.
5 Ary koa, Izaho efa nandre ny fitarainan’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely, izay ampanompoin’ ny Egyptiana, ka dia tsaroako ny fanekeko.
Moreover I have sh'ma ·heard obeyed· the groaning of the children of Israel [God prevails], whom the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery] keep in bondage, and I have remembered my covenant.
6 Koa lazao amin’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely hoe: Izaho no Jehovah, ary hitondra anareo hivoaka ho afaka amin’ ny fanompoana mafy ampanaovin’ ny Egyptiana anareo Aho ka hanafaka anareo amin’ ny fanompoana azy; ary sandry ahinjitra sy fitsarana lehibe no hamonjeko anareo.
Therefore tell the children of Israel [God prevails], ‘I am Adonai, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery], and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments:
7 Dia halaiko ho Ahy ianareo ho oloko, ary ho Andriamanitrareo Aho; dia ho fantatrareo fa Izaho no Jehovah Andriamanitrareo, Izay mitondra anareo mivoaka ho afaka amin’ ny fanompoana mafy ampanaovin’ ny Egyptiana anareo.
and I will take you to be my people, and I will be your God; and you shall know that I am Adonai your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery].
8 Ary Izaho hampiditra anareo any amin’ ny tany izay nananganako tanàna homena an’ i Abrahama sy Isaka ary Jakoba; dia homeko ho lovanareo izany: Izaho no Jehovah.
I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham [Father of a multitude], to Isaac [Laughter], and to Jacob [Supplanter]; and I will give it to you for a heritage: I am Adonai.’”
9 Ary Mosesy nilaza izany tamin’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely; nefa izy tsy nihaino an’ i Mosesy noho ny fahoriam-panahy sy ny fanompoana mafy.
Moses [Drawn out] spoke so to the children of Israel [God prevails], but they didn’t sh'ma ·hear obey· unto Moses [Drawn out] for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.
10 Ary Jehovah niteny tamin’ i Mosesy ka nanao hoe:
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
11 Mankanesa ao amin’ i Farao, mpanjakan’ i Egypta, ka mitenena aminy mba handefasany ny Zanak’ Isiraely hiala amin’ ny taniny.
“Go in, speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt [Abode of slavery], that he let the children of Israel [God prevails] go out of his land.”
12 Ary Mosesy niteny teo anatrehan’ i Jehovah ka nanao hoe: Indro, ny Zanak’ Isiraely aza tsy nihaino ahy, ka ahoana no hihainoan’ i Farao ahy, fa izaho tsy voafora molotra?
Moses [Drawn out] spoke before Adonai, saying, “Behold, the children of Israel [God prevails] haven’t sh'ma ·heard obeyed· unto me. How then shall Pharaoh listen to me, who am of uncircumcised lips?”
13 Ary Jehovah niteny tamin’ i Mosesy sy Arona ka nanome teny azy ho entiny ho any amin’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely sy ho amin’ i Farao, mpanjakan’ i Egypta, mba hitondra ny Zanak’ Isiraely hivoaka avy amin’ ny tany Egypta.
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out] and to Aaron [Light-bringer], and gave them an enjoinment to the children of Israel [God prevails], and to Pharaoh king of Egypt [Abode of slavery], to bring the children of Israel [God prevails] out of the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery].
