Eksodosy 40
1 Ary Jehovah niteny tamin’ i Mosesy ka nanao hoe:
And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
2 Amin’ ny andro voalohany amin’ ny volana voalohany dia atsangano ny tabernakelin’ ny trano-lay fihaonana.
“On the first day of the month, in the first month, you raise up the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Meeting,
3 Ary ataovy ao ny fiaran’ ny Vavolombelona; dia ahantòny ny efitra lamba hanakona ny fiara.
and have set the Ark of the Testimony [in] there, and have covered over the Ark with the veil,
4 Ary ampidiro ny latabatra, ka alaharo izay halahatra eo amboniny; ary ampidiro ny fanaovan-jiro, ka ampireheto ny jiro.
and have brought in the table, and set its arrangement in order, and have brought in the lampstand, and caused its lamps to go up.
5 Ary ny alitara volamena fandoroana ditin-kazo manitra dia ataovy eo anoloan’ ny fiaran’ ny Vavolombelona, ary ny varavarana lamba dia ataovy eo amin’ ny varavaran’ ny tabernakely.
And you have put the golden altar for incense before the Ark of the Testimony, and have put the covering of the opening to the Dwelling Place,
6 Ary ny alitara fandoroana ny fanatitra dorana dia apetraho eo anoloan’ ny tabernakelin’ ny trano-lay fihaonana.
and have put the altar of the burnt-offering before the opening of the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Meeting,
7 Ary ny tavy dia apetraho eo anelanelan’ ny trano-lay fihaonana sy ny alitara, ka asio rano eo anatiny.
and have put the laver between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and have put water [in] there.
8 Ary amboary ny kianja manodidina, ka ahantòny ny vavahady lamba eo amin’ ny vavahadin’ ny kianja.
And you have set the court all around, and have placed the covering of the gate of the court,
9 Ary alao ny diloilo fanosorana, ka hosory ny tabernakely sy izay rehetra ao, dia hamasino izy mbamin’ ny fanaka rehetra momba azy, ka dia ho masìna izy.
and have taken the anointing oil, and anointed the Dwelling Place, and all that [is] in it, and hallowed it, and all its vessels, and it has been holy;
10 Ary hosory ny alitara fandoroana ny fanatitra dorana sy ny fanaka rehetra momba azy; ary hamasino ny alitara, dia ho masìna indrindra izy.
and you have anointed the altar of the burnt-offering, and all its vessels, and sanctified the altar, and the altar has been most holy;
11 Ary hosory ny tavy sy ny faladiany, ka hamasino izy.
and you have anointed the laver and its base, and sanctified it.
12 Ary ento Arona sy ny zanany hankeo anoloan’ ny varavaran’ ny trano-lay fihaonana, ka ampandroy amin’ ny rano izy.
And you have brought Aaron and his sons near to the opening of the Tent of Meeting, and have bathed them with water;
13 Ary ampiakanjoy an’ i Arona ny fitafiana masìna, dia hosory sy hamasino izy, mba ho mpisorona ho Ahy.
and you have clothed Aaron with the holy garments, and anointed him, and sanctified him, and he has acted as priest to Me.
14 Ary ento ny zanany, ka ampiakanjoy azy ny akanjo lava.
And you bring his sons near, and have clothed them with coats,
15 Ary hosory izy, tahaka ny nanosoranao ny rainy, mba ho mpisorona ho Ahy; ary ny fanosorana azy dia ho fisoronana mandrakizay ho azy hatramin’ ny taranany fara mandimby.
and anointed them as you have anointed their father, and they have acted as priests to Me, and their anointing has been to them for a continuous priesthood throughout their generations.”
16 Dia nataon’ i Mosesy izany: araka izay rehetra efa nandidian’ i Jehovah azy no nataony.
And Moses does according to all that YHWH has commanded him; so he has done.
17 Ary tamin’ ny andro voalohany tamin’ ny volana voalohany tamin’ ny taona faharoa no nananganana ny tabernakely.
And it comes to pass, in the first month, in the second year, on the first of the month, the Dwelling Place has been raised up;
18 Ary Mosesy nanangana ny tabernakely, dia nametraka ny faladiany sy nanangana ny zana-kazony, ary nampiditra ny barany sy nanangana ny andriny.
and Moses raises up the Dwelling Place, and sets its sockets, and places its boards, and places its bars, and raises its pillars,
19 Ary namelatra ny lay teo ambonin’ ny tabernakely izy, ary ny firakotry ny lay nataony teo amboniny, dia araka izay efa nandidian’ i Jehovah an’ i Mosesy.
and spreads the tent over the Dwelling Place, and puts the covering of the tent on it above, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
20 Dia nalainy ny Vavolombelona ka napetrany tao anatin’ ny fiara, ary ny bao dia nataony teo amin’ ny fiara, ary ny rakotra fanaovam-panavotana dia napetrany teo ambonin’ ny fiara.
And he takes and puts the Testimony into the Ark, and sets the poles on the Ark, and puts the propitiatory covering on the Ark above;
21 Ary ny fiara dia nampidiriny tao amin’ ny tabernakely, ka nahantony ny efitra lamba fanakonana hanakona ny fiaran’ ny Vavolombelona, dia araka izay efa nandidian’ i Jehovah an’ i Mosesy.
and brings the Ark into the Dwelling Place, and places the veil of the covering, and covers over the Ark of the Testimony, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
22 Ary ny latabatra dia napetrany teo amin’ ny trano-lay fihaonana, dia teo amin’ ny lafin’ ny tabernakely avaratra, teo ivelan’ ny efitra lamba.
And he puts the table in the Tent of Meeting, on the side of the Dwelling Place northward, at the outside of the veil,
23 Ary nandahatra mofo teo amboniny teo anatrehan’ i Jehovah izy, dia araka izay efa nandidian’ i Jehovah an’ i Mosesy.
and sets in order the arrangement of bread on it, before YHWH, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
24 Ary ny fanaovan-jiro dia napetrany teo amin’ ny trano-lay fihaonana, tandrifin’ ny latabatra, teo amin’ ny lafin’ ny tabernakely atsimo.
And he puts the lampstand in the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the side of the Dwelling Place southward,
25 Ary nampirehitra ny jiro teo anatrehan’ i Jehovah izy, dia araka izay efa nandidian’ i Jehovah an’ i Mosesy.
and causes the lamps to go up before YHWH, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
26 Ary ny alitara volamena dia nataony teo amin’ ny trano-lay fihaonana, teo anoloan’ ny efitra lamba;
And he sets the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting, before the veil,
27 ary nandoro ditin-kazo mani-pofona teo izy, dia araka izay efa nandidian’ i Jehovah an’ i Mosesy.
and makes incense on it—spice-incense—as YHWH has commanded Moses.
28 Ary ny varavarana lamba dia nataony teo amin’ ny varavaran’ ny tabernakely;
And he sets the covering [at] the opening of the Dwelling Place,
29 ary ny alitara fandoroana ny fanatitra dorana dia napetrany teo anoloan’ ny varavaran’ ny tabernakelin’ ny trano-lay fihaonana; ary nateriny teo amboniny ny fanatitra dorana sy ny fanatitra hohanina, dia araka izay efa nandidian’ i Jehovah an’ i Mosesy.
and he has set the altar of the burnt-offering [at] the opening of the Dwelling Place of the Tent of Meeting, and causes the burnt-offering to go up on it, and the present, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
30 Ary ny tavy dia nataony teo anelanelan’ ny trano-lay fihaonana sy ny alitara, ka nasiany rano teo anatiny hanasana.
And he puts the laver between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and puts water [in] there for washing,
31 Ary teo no nanasan’ i Mosesy sy Arona ary ny zanany ny tongony aman-tànany.
and Moses and Aaron and his sons have washed their hands and their feet at the same;
32 Raha niditra tao amin’ ny trano-lay fihaonana izy, ary raha nanakaiky ny alitara, dia nisasa izy, dia araka izay efa nandidian’ i Jehovah an’ i Mosesy.
in their going into the Tent of Meeting, and in their drawing near to the altar, they wash, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
33 Ary natsangany koa ny kianja manodidina ny tabernakely sy ny alitara; ary ny vavahady lamba dia nataony teo amin’ ny vavahadin’ ny kianja. Dia vitan’ i Mosesy ny asa rehetra.
And he raises up the court all around the Dwelling Place, and around the altar, and places the covering of the gate of the court; and Moses completes the work.
34 Ary ny rahona nanarona ny trano-lay fihaonana, ary ny voninahitr’ i Jehovah nameno ny tabernakely.
And the cloud covers the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of YHWH has filled the Dwelling Place;
35 Ary Mosesy tsy nahazo niditra tao amin’ ny trano-lay fihaonana, satria ny rahona nitoetra teo amboniny, ary ny voninahitr’ i Jehovah nameno ny tabernakely.
and Moses has not been able to go into the Tent of Meeting, for the cloud has dwelt on it, and the glory of YHWH has filled the Dwelling Place.
36 Ary raha niakatra niala tamin’ ny tabernakely ny rahona, dia nifindra ny Zanak’ Isiraely tamin’ ny nandehanany rehetra;
And in the going up of the cloud from off the Dwelling Place the sons of Israel journey in all their journeys;
37 fa raha tsy niakatra ny rahona, dia tsy nifindra izy, mandra-pihavin’ izay andro hiakarany.
and if the cloud does not go up then they do not journey, until the day of its going up.
38 Fa ny rahon’ i Jehovah dia teo ambonin’ ny tabernakely nony andro, ary nisy afo teo aminy nony alina, teo imason’ ny taranak’ Isiraely rehetra, tamin’ ny nandehanany rehetra.
For the cloud of YHWH [is] on the Dwelling Place by day, and fire is in it by night, before the eyes of all the house of Israel in all their journeys.
