Efesiana 2

1 Ary ianareo dia efa novelominy, fony mbola matin’ ny fahadisoanareo sy ny fahotanareo,

Even you, being dead to offenses and sins,

2 izay nalehanareo fahiny, araka ny fomban’ izao tontolo izao, araka ny mpanapaka ny fanjakana eny amin’ ny rivotra, dia ny fanahy izay miasa ankehitriny ao anatin’ ny zanaky ny tsi-fanarahana; (aiōn g165)

in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is actively at work in the sons of disobedience: (aiōn g165)

3 teo amin’ ireo no nitondrantsika rehetra tena koa fahiny tamin’ ny filan’ ny nofontsika, ka nanaovantsika ny danin’ ny nofo sy ny saina; ary araka ny toetsika dia zanaky ny fahatezerana toy ny sasany koa isika.

among whom also we all formerly lived in the desires of our flesh, doing the will of the flesh and of the feelings, and were by nature children of wrath, even as others:

4 Fa Andriamanitra, Izay manan-karena amin’ ny famindram-po, noho ny halehiben’ ny fitiavany izay nitiavany antsika,

but God, being rich in mercy, on account of his great love with which he loved us,

5 na dia fony mbola matin’ ny fahadisoana aza isika, dia nahavelona antsika niaraka tamin’ i Kristy (fahasoavana no namonjena anareo);

made alive with Christ even us, being dead to our offenses, (by grace you are saved, )

6 ary niara-natsangany isika ka niara-napetrany any an-danitra ao amin’ i Kristy Jesosy,

and raised us up, and made us sit together in heavenly places, in Christ Jesus;

7 mba hasehony amin’ ny andro ho avy ny haben’ ny haren’ ny fahasoavany amin’ ny fahamoram-panahiny amintsika ao amin’ i Kristy Jesosy. (aiōn g165)

that he might show, in the ages to come, the exceeding riches of his grace by his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. (aiōn g165)

8 Fa fahasoavana no namonjena anareo amin’ ny finoana; ary tsy avy aminareo izany, fa fanomezana avy amin’ Andriamanitra;

For by grace you have been saved through the faith; and this matter is not of yourselves; it is the gift of God:

9 tsy avy amin’ ny asa, fandrao hisy hirehareha.

not by works, lest any one should boast.

10 Fa asany isika, voaforona tao amin’ i Kristy Jesosy mba hanao asa tsara, izay namboarin’ Andriamanitra rahateo mba handehanantsika eo aminy.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God before prepared, that we should walk in them.

11 Koa tsarovy fa fahiny ianareo izay jentilisa araka ny nofo, ka nolazain’ ny voaforan-tanana teo amin’ ny nofo hoe tsy voafora ―

For which reason, remember that you were formerly Gen tiles, by natural descent, and that you are called Uncircumcision by the Circumcision; so called, from a mark made in the flesh by hands;

12 eny, tsarovy fa tamin’ izany andro izany dia tsy nanana an’ i Kristy ianareo, fa olon-ko azy tamin’ ny fanjakan’ ny Isiraely ary vahiny tamin’ ireo faneken’ ny teny fikasana, dia tsy nanana fanantenana sady tsy nanana an’ Andriamanitra teo amin’ izao tontolo izao;

that you were at that time without Christ, being aliens from the community of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope, and having no God in the world:

13 fa ankehitriny kosa, ao amin’ i Kristy Jesosy, ianareo izay lavitra fahiny dia efa nampanakeken’ ny ran’ i Kristy.

but now, in Christ Jesus, you, who were formerly far off, have become near, by the blood of the Christ.

14 Fa Izy no fihavanantsika, Izay nahiray antsika roa tonta ka nandrava ny efitry ny fisarahana,

For he is our peace, who has made both parties one, and broken down the partition wall that separated us,

15 fa tao amin’ ny nofony no nandravany ny fandrafiana, dia ny lalàna nisy didy natao hotandremana, mba hanakambanany antsika roa tonta ao amin’ ny tenany ho olom-baovao iray, ka hanaovany fihavanana,

having abolished, in his flesh, the cause of enmity, the law of commandments in ordinances, that he might, by himself, form the two into one new man, thus making peace;

16 ary hampihavana antsika roa tonta ho tena iray amin’ Andriamanitra noho ny hazo fijaliana, izay namonoany ny fandrafiana.

and that he might reconcile both, in one body, to God, through the cross, having by it put to death the cause of enmity;

17 Ary tonga Izy ka nitory teny soa mahafaly milaza fihavanana taminareo izay lavitra ary fihavanana tamin’ izay akaiky koa.

and having come, he preached peace to you who were far off, and to those who were near:

18 Fa Izy no ananantsika roa tonta fanatonana amin’ ny Fanahy iray ho any amin’ ny Ray.

for, through him, we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.

19 Koa dia tsy mba vahiny sy mpivahiny intsony ianareo, fa tompon-tany, mpiray fanjakana amin’ ny olona masìna sady ankohonan’ Andriamanitra,

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and sojourners, but fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the household of God,

20 natsangana teo ambonin’ ny fanorenan’ ny Apostoly sy ny mpaminany, ary Kristy Jesosy no fehizoro indrindra;

having been builded upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner-stone,

21 ao aminy no irafetan’ ny rafitra rehetra, mitombo tsara ho tempoly masìna ao amin’ ny Tompo.

in whom the whole building, compactly fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord;

22 Ary ao aminy no miaraka aorina koa ianareo ho fonenan’ Andriamanitra amin’ ny Fanahy.

in whom you also are builded together, for a dwelling-place of God by his Spirit.
