1 Mihainoa, ry lanitra, fa hiteny aho! Ary mandrenesa, ry tany, ny tenin’ ny vavako!
Hearken, ye heauens, and I will speake: and let the earth heare the words of my mouth.
2 Ho avy tahaka ny ranonorana ny fampianarako, Ary hilatsaka tahaka ny ando ny teniko, Sy tahaka ny erika amin’ ny ahi-maitso Ary ny ranonorana amin’ ny anana.
My doctrine shall drop as the raine, and my speach shall stil as the dew, as the showre vpon the herbes, and as the great raine vpon the grasse.
3 Fa ny anaran’ i Jehovah no hotoriko; Maneke ny fahalehibiazan’ Andriamanitsika.
For I will publish the name of the Lord: giue ye glorie vnto our God.
4 Ny amin’ ny Vatolampy, tanteraka ny asany; Fa ny lalany rehetra dia amin’ ny rariny avokoa. Andriamanitra mahatoky Izy, ka tsy misy ratsy ao aminy; Marina sy mahitsy Izy.
Perfect is the worke of the mighty God: for all his wayes are iudgement. God is true, and without wickednesse: iust, and righteous is he.
5 Efa nasian-dratsy Izy; Tsy zanany ireny, tsininy izany; Taranaka miolakolaka sady efa nivadika izy.
They haue corrupted them selues towarde him by their vice, not being his children, but a frowarde and crooked generation.
6 Moa Jehovah hovalianareo toy izany va, Ry firenena adala ka tsy hendry? Tsy Izy va no Rainao, Izay nanavotra anao? Tsy Izy va no nanao anao sy nanorina anao?
Doe ye so rewarde the Lord, O foolish people and vnwise? is not he thy father, that hath bought thee? he hath made thee, and proportioned thee.
7 Tsarovy ny andro fahiny, Saino ny taona hatrizay hatrizay; Anontanio amin-drainao, fa hanambara aminao izy, Sy amin’ ny anti-panahy eo aminao, fa hilaza aminao izy;
Remember the dayes of olde: consider the yeeres of so many generations: aske thy father, and he will shewe thee: thine Elders, and they will tell thee.
8 Fony nomen’ ny Avo Indrindra zara-tany ny jentilisa, Ka samy natokantokany ny zanak’ olombelona, Dia notendreny ny fari-tanin’ ireo firenena Araka ny isan’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely.
When the most hie God deuided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sonnes of Adam, he appoynted the borders of the people, according to the nomber of the children of Israel.
9 Fa anjaran’ i Jehovah ny olony: Jakoba no natokany ho lovany.
For the Lordes portion is his people: Iaakob is the lot of his inheritance.
10 Nahita azy tany an-efitra Izy, Dia tany amin’ ny tany foana be nampierona, Ka dia nanodidina sy niahy azy Ary notandremany tahaka ny anakandriamasony.
He found him in ye land of ye wildernes, in a waste, and roaring wildernes: he led him about, he taught him, and kept him as ye apple of his eye.
11 Toy ny voromahery manaitra ny ao amin’ ny akaniny Ka manidintsidina eo ambonin’ ny zanany, Dia toy izany no namelarany ny elany sy nandraisany azy Ary nitondrany azy teo ambonin’ ny elany,
As an eagle stereth vp her nest, flootereth ouer her birdes, stretcheth out her wings, taketh them, and beareth them on her wings,
12 Jehovah irery no nitondra azy, Ary tsy nisy andriamani-kafa teo aminy.
So the Lord alone led him, and there was no strange god with him.
13 Nampandeha azy teny ambonin’ ny havoana amin’ ny tany Izy, Ka nohaniny ny vokatry ny saha. Nampitsentsitra azy tantely avy teo amin’ ny vatolampy Izy Sy diloilo avy teo amin’ ny vatolampy afovato
He caryed him vp to the hie places of the earth, that he might eate the fruites of the fieldes, and he caused him to sucke hony out of the stone, and oyle out of the hard rocke:
14 Sy rononomandrin’ omby sy rononon’ ondry aman’ osy Mbamin’ ny tavin’ ny zanak’ ondry Sy ondrilahin’ i Basana sy osilahy Ary vary izay vokatra indrindra; Ary nisotro divay mahery avy tamin’ ny ran’ ny voaloboka ianao.
Butter of kine, and milke of sheepe with fat of the lambes, and rammes fed in Bashan, and goates, with the fat of the graines of wheat, and the red licour of the grape hast thou drunke.
15 Nihanatavy Jesorona ka namely daka, Efa matavy ianao sady vory nofo no vaventibe, Dia nahafoy an’ Andriamanitra Izay nanao azy izy, Ary nanamavo ny Vatolampy famonjena azy.
But he that should haue bene vpright, when he waxed fat, spurned with his heele: thou art fat, thou art grosse, thou art laden with fatnes: therefore he forsooke God that made him, and regarded not the strong God of his saluation.
16 Nampahasaro-piaro Azy tamin’ ny hafa Izy; Ary tamin’ ny zava-betaveta no nampahasosorany Azy;
They prouoked him with strange gods: they prouoked him to anger with abominations.
17 Namono zavatra ho fanatitra ho an’ ny demonia izay tsy Andriamanitra izy, Dia andriamanitra tsy fantany, Fa andriamanitra vao niseho, Izay tsy natahoran’ ny razanareo.
They offred vnto deuils, not to God, but to gods whome they knew not: new gods that came newly vp, whome their fathers feared not.
18 Ny Vatolampy Izay niteraka anao dia tsy tsaroanao, Ary hadinoinao Andriamanitra Izay nahary anao.
Thou hast forgotten the mightie God that begate thee, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.
19 Ary Jehovah nahita izany ka nandà Noho ny fahasosorany tamin’ ny zananilahy sy ny zananivavy.
The Lord then sawe it, and was angrie, for the prouocation of his sonnes and of his daughters.
20 Dia hoy Izy: Hafeniko azy ny tavako; Ho hitako izay hiafarany; Fa firenena tena mpivadibadika izy, Dia zaza tsy mahatoky.
And he said, I will hide my face from the: I will see what their ende shalbe: for they are a frowarde generation, children in who is no faith.
21 Izy efa nampahasaro-piaro Ahy tamin’ izay tsy Andriamanitra Sy nampahasosotra Ahy tamin’ ny zava-poanany; Ary Izaho kosa hampahasaro-piaro azy amin’ izay tsy olona, Sy hampahasosotra azy amin’ izay firenena adala.
They haue moued me to ielousie with that which is not God: they haue prouoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will moue them to ielousie with those which are no people: I wil prouoke them to anger with a foolish nation.
22 Fa arehitra ny afon’ ny fahatezerako, Ka mandoro hatrany amin’ ny fiainan-tsi-hita any ambany indrindra, Sady mandevona ny tany mbamin’ ny vokatra ao aminy Ary mampirehitra ny fanambanin’ ny tendrombohitra aza. (Sheol h7585)
For fire is kindled in my wrath, and shall burne vnto the bottome of hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountaines. (Sheol h7585)
23 Havangongoko aminy ny loza betsaka; Ary holaniko aminy ny zana-tsi-pikako:
I will spend plagues vpon them: I will bestowe mine arrowes vpon them.
24 Hofezahin’ ny mosary izy sady holanin’ ny areti-mandripaka Sy ny fandringanana mangidy; Ary nifim-biby no hampandehaniko aminy Jesorona dia anaran’ ny Isiraely. Mbamin’ ny poizin’ ny biby mpikisaka amin’ ny vovoka.
They shalbe burnt with hunger, and consumed with heate, and with bitter destruction: I will also sende the teeth of beastes vpon them, with the venime of serpents creeping in the dust.
25 Eny ivelany dia ny sabatra no hahafaty ny zanany, Ary ao amin’ ny efi-trano dia ny fampahatahorana Na ny zatovolahy na ny zatovovavy, Na ny zaza minono na ny fotsy volo.
The sworde shall kill them without, and in the chambers feare: both the yong man and the yong woman, the suckeling with the man of gray heare.
26 Fa efa nolazaiko hoe: Hotsofiko hihahaka izy; Hatsahatro ny fahatsiarovana azy tsy ho eo amin’ ny zanak’ olombelona,
I haue said, I would scatter them abroade: I would make their remembrance to cease from among men,
27 Raha tsy ny fireharehan’ ny fahavalo no natahorako, Andrao diso hevitra ireny mpandrafy azy ireny Ka hanao hoe: Ny tananay no avo; Fa tsy Jehovah tsy akory no nanao izany rehetra izany.
Saue that I feared the furie of the enemie, least their aduersaries should waxe proude, and least they should say, Our hie hande and not the Lord hath done all this:
28 Fa firenena tsy manan-tsaina izy Sady tsy manam-pahalalana.
For they are a nation voide of counsel, neither is there any vnderstanding in them.
29 Enga anie ka hendry izy mba hahalala izao Ka hahafantatra izay ho farany.
Oh that they were wise, then they would vnderstand this: they would consider their latter ende.
30 Hataon’ ny irery ahoana no fanenjika ny arivo, Ary hataon’ ny roa lahy ahoana no fampandositra ny iray alina, Raha tsy ny Vatolampiny no efa nivarotra azy, Ary Jehovah no efa nanolotra azy?
How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousande to flight, except their strong God had sold the, and the Lord had shut them vp?
31 Fa tsy mba mitovy amin’ ny Vatolampintsika ny vatolampin’ ireny, Na dia izy fahavalontsika aza no hitsara.
For their god is not as our God, euen our enemies being iudges.
32 Ny tahom-boalobony dia tahom-boalobok’ i Sodoma Ary avy ao amin’ ny sahan’ i Gomora; Ny voalobony dia voaloboka mahafaty, Sady mangidy koa ny sampahony.
For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the vines of Gomorah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters be bitter.
33 Ny divainy dia zava-mahafaty avy amin’ ny dragona, Ary poizina loza avy amin’ ny bibilava.
Their wine is the poyson of dragons, and the cruel gall of aspes.
34 Moa tsy voatahiry ato amiko va izany Ka voaisy kase ato an-trano firaketako?
Is not this laide in store with me, and sealed vp among my treasures?
35 Ahy ny famaliana sy ny fampanodiavana, Raha avy izay hahasolafaka ny tongony; Fa antomotra ny andro hahitany loza, Ary ho avy faingana ny zava-boatendry hanjo azy.
Vengeance and recompence are mine: their foote shall slide in due time: for the day of their destruction is at hand, and the things that shall come vpon them, make haste.
36 Fa Jehovah hanome rariny ny olony Ary hanenina ny amin’ ny mpanompony, Raha hitany fa lany ny heriny, Ka lasa avokoa na ny voahazona, na ny afaka.
For the Lord shall iudge his people, and repent towarde his seruants, when hee seeth that their power is gone, and none shut vp in holde nor left abroad.
37 Ary hiteny hoe Izy: Aiza ireo andriamaniny, Dia ny vatolampy izay nialofany,
When men shall say, Where are their gods, their mighty God in whome they trusted,
38 Izay nihinana ny saboran’ ny fanatiny Ary nisotro ny divain’ ny fanatitra aidiny? Aoka ireny no hitsangana ka hamonjy anareo Ary ho fierena ho anareo.
Which did eate the fat of their sacrifices, and did drinke the wine of their drinke offring? let them rise vp, and help you: let him be your refuge.
39 Fantaro ankehitriny fa Izaho dia Izaho no Izy, Ka tsy misy andriamanitra eto amiko. Izaho no mahafaty sy mahavelona, Ary Izaho no maharatra sy mahasitrana, Ka tsy misy mahafaka amin’ ny tanako.
Behold now, for I, I am he, and there is no gods with me: I kill, and giue life: I wound, and I make whole: neither is there any that can deliuer out of mine hand.
40 Fa manangana ny tanako amin’ ny lanitra Aho Ka manao hoe: Raha velona koa Aho mandrakizay:
For I lift vp mine hand to heauen, and say, I liue for euer.
41 Raha manasa ny sabatro manelatselatra Aho, Ka voarain’ ny tanako ny fitsarana, Dia hampanodiaviko ny mpandrafy Ahy ny ataony, Ary hovaliako ny mankahala Ahy.
If I whet my glittering sworde, and mine hand take holde on iudgement, I will execute vengeance on mine enemies, and will rewarde them that hate me.
42 Hataoko mamon-drà ny zana-tsipikako, Ary ny sabatro hihina-nofo, Dia ny ran’ ny voavono sy ny babo Mbamin’ ny lohan’ izay lehibe amin’ ny fahavalo.
I will make mine arrowes drunke with blood, (and my sword shall eate flesh) for the blood of the slaine, and of the captiues, when I beginne to take vengeance of the enemie.
43 Mihobia, ry jentilisa mbamin’ ny olony; Fa ny ran’ ny mpanompony no hovaliany. Hamaly ny mpandrafy Azy Izy, Ary hanao fanavotana kosa ho an’ ny taniny sy ny olony.
Ye nations, praise his people: for he will auenge the blood of his seruants, and will execute vengeance vpon his aduersaries, and will bee mercifull vnto his lande, and to his people.
44 Dia nandeha Mosesy ka nilaza ny teny rehetra amin’ izany fihirana izany teo anatrehan’ ny olona, dia izy sy Hosea, zanak’ i Nona.
Then Moses came and spake all ye words of this song in the audience of the people, he and Hoshea the sonne of Nun.
45 Ary nony efa tapitra voalazan’ i Mosesy tamin’ ny Isiraely rehetra izany teny rehetra izany,
When Moses had made an end of speaking all these wordes to all Israel,
46 dia hoy izy taminy: Alatsaho ao am-ponareo ny teny rehetra izay ambarako aminareo anio, izay handidianareo ny zanakareo hotandremany sy hankatoaviny, dia ny teny rehetra amin’ ity lalàna ity.
Then hee said vnto them, Set your heartes vnto all the wordes which I testifie against you this day, that ye may commande them vnto your children, that they may obserue and doo all the wordes of this Lawe.
47 Fa tsy zava-poana ho anareo izany, fa izany no fiainanareo; ary izany zavatra izany no hahamaro andro anareo eo amin’ ny tany izay efa hidiranareo holovana, rehefa tafita an’ i Jordana ianareo.
For it is no vaine worde concerning you, but it is your life, and by this worde ye shall prolong your dayes in the land, whither yee go ouer Iorden to possesse it.
48 Ary Jehovah niteny tamin’ i Mosesy androtrizay indrindra ka nanao hoe:
And the Lord spake vnto Moses the selfe same day, saying,
49 Miakara amin’ ity tendrombohitra Abarima ity, dia ny tendrombohitra Nebo, izay eo amin’ ny tany Moaba tandrifin’ i Jeriko; ary tazano ny tany Kanana, izay omeko ny Zanak’ Isiraely ho lovany.
Goe vp into the mountaine of Abarim, vnto the mount Nebo, which is in the lande of Moab, that is ouer against Iericho: and beholde the lande of Canaan, which I giue vnto the children of Israel for a possession,
50 Dia aoka ho faty ao amin’ ny tendrombohitra izay iakaranao ianao, ka ho voangona any amin’ ny razanao, tahaka ny nahafatesan’ i Arona rahalahinao tao an-tendrombohitra Hora sy ny nanangonana azy any amin’ ny razany,
And die in the mount which thou goest vp vnto, and thou shalt be gathered vnto thy people, as Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered vnto his people,
51 satria nivadika tamiko teo amin’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely ianareo tao amin’ ny ranon’ i Meriba any Kadesy, tany an-efitra Zina; fa tsy nahamasina Ahy teo amin’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely ianareo.
Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel, at the waters of Meribah, at Kadesh in the wildernesse of Zin: for ye sanctified me not among the children of Israel.
52 Fa hahatazana ny tany eo anoloanao ihany ianao, kanefa tsy hiditra any amin’ ny tany izay omeko ny Zanak’ Isiraely.
Thou shalt therefore see the lande before thee, but shalt not go thither, I meane, into the land which I giue the children of Israel.
