Deotoronomia 12
1 Izao no didy sy fitsipika izay hotandremanareo harahina any amin’ ny tany izay omen’ i Jehovah, Andriamanitry ny razanao, anao holovana amin’ ny andro rehetra hiainanareo ambonin’ ny tany.
These are the statutes and the regulations which ye must observe to do, in the land which Yahweh the God of thy fathers hath given unto thee, to possess it, —all the days that ye are living upon the soil:
2 Horavanareo mihitsy ny toerana rehetra izay nanompoan’ ny firenen-tsamy hafa izay horoahinareo ny andriamaniny teny ambonin’ ny tendrombohitra avo sy ny havoana ary teny ambanin’ ny hazo maitso rehetra.
Ye must utterly destroy, all the places where the nations whom ye are dispossessing have served their gods, —Upon the high mountains And upon the hills, And under every green tree;
3 Dia horavanareo ny alitarany, ary hotorotoroinareo ny tsangam-baton-tsampiny, ary hodoranareo amin’ ny afo ny Aserahany, ary ny sarin-javatra voasokitra, izay andriamaniny, dia hokapainareo, ka dia hofoananareo tsy ho eo amin’ izany tany izany intsony ny anarany.
And ye must tear down their altars And break in pieces their pillars, And, their sacred stems, must ye consume with fire, And the carved images of their gods, must ye fell to the ground, —And destroy their name out of that place.
4 Aza manao toy izany amin’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrareo ianareo.
Ye must not do thus unto Yahweh your God;
5 Fa ny tany izay hofidin’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrareo amin’ ny firenenareo rehetra hasiany ny anarany sy honenany no hohatoninareo sy halehanareo.
but, unto the place which Yahweh your God shall choose out of all your tribes, to put his name there, —as his habitation, shall ye ask your way, and come in thither;
6 Ary any no hitondranareo ny fanatitra doranareo sy ny fanatitrareo hafa alatsa-drà sy ny fahafolon-karenareo sy ny fanatitra asandratry ny tananareo sy ny fanalam-boadinareo sy ny fanati-tsitraponareo ary ny voalohan-teraky ny ombinareo sy ny ondry aman’ osinareo;
and bring in thither your ascending-offerings and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and the heave-offering of your hand, —and your vow-offerings and your freewill-offerings, and the firstlings of your herd and of your flock;
7 ary any no hihinananareo sy ny ankohonanareo eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrareo ary hifalianareo amin’ izay rehetra harin’ ny tananareo, izay efa nitahian’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao anao.
and shall eat there before Yahweh your God, and rejoice in all whereunto ye are putting your hand, Ye, and your households, —wherewith Yahweh thy God hath blessed thee.
8 Aza manao araka izay rehetra ataontsika eto ankehitriny intsony ianareo, dia izao samy manao izay mahitsy eo imasony avy izao.
Ye must not do according to all that we are doing here to-day, —every man, whatsoever is right in his own eyes.
9 Fa ianareo tsy mbola tonga any amin’ ny fitsaharana sy ny lova izay omen’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao anao.
Because ye have not entered as yet, —into the resting-place and into the inheritance which Yahweh thy God is giving unto thee.
10 Fa rehefa tafita an’ i Jordana ianareo ka monina any amin’ ny tany izay omen’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrareo anareo holovana, ary homeny fitsaharan’ ady amin’ ny fahavalonareo rehetra manodidina ianareo ka mandry fahizay,
But, when ye shall pass over the Jordan, and settle down in the land which, Yahweh your God, is causing you to inherit, —and he shall give you rest from all your enemies round about, and ye shall dwell securely,
11 dia eo amin’ ny tany izay hofidin’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrareo hampitoerany ny anarany no hitondranareo izay rehetra andidiako anareo, dia ny fanatitra doranareo sy ny fanatitrareo hafa alatsa-drà sy ny fahafolon-karenareo sy ny fanatitra asandratry ny tananareo, ary izay zavatra tsara ataonareo voady amin’ i Jehovah.
then shall it be, that unto the place which Yahweh your God shall choose to make a habitation for his name there, thither, shall ye bring in all that I am commanding you, —your ascending-offerings and your sacrifices your tithes and the heave-offering of your hand, and all your chosen vow-offerings which ye shall vow unto Yahweh.
12 Dia hifaly eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrareo ianareo sy ny zanakareo-lahy sy ny zanakareo-vavy sy ny ankizilahinareo sy ny ankizivavinareo ary ny Levita izay ao an-tanànanareo; fa ny Levita tsy mba manana anjara na lova eo aminareo.
So shall ye rejoice before Yahweh your God, Ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your servants and your handmaids, —and the Levite that is within your gates, forasmuch as he hath neither portion nor inheritance with you.
13 Mitandrema mba tsy haterinao eny amin’ izay tany rehetra tianao ny fanatitra doranao;
Take heed to thyself, lest thou cause thine ascending-sacrifice to go up in just any place which thou shalt see;
14 fa eo amin’ ny tany izay hofidin’ i Jehovah ihany amin’ ny firenenao anankiray no hanateranao azy, sady eo koa no hanaovanao izay rehetra andidiako anao.
but, in the place which Yahweh shall choose in one of thy tribes, there, shalt thou cause thine ascending-sacrifice to go up, and, there, shalt thou do all that I am commanding thee.
15 Kanefa mahazo mamono zavatra sy mihinan-kena ianao, araka izay rehetra irinao eny amin’ ny tanànanao rehetra, araka ny fitahian’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao izay omeny anao; na ny maloto, na ny madio dia samy mahazo mihinana azy ihany, tahaka ny ahazoany mihinana ny gazela sy ny diera.
Howbeit of anything thy soul desireth, mayest thou sacrifice and so eat flesh—according to the blessing of Yahweh thy God which he hath bestowed upon thee, in all thy gates, the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, —as the gazelle and as the hart,
16 Kanefa ny ràny no aza hanina, fa aidino amin’ ny tany toy ny rano.
Howbeit, the blood, shall ye not eat, —upon the earth, shalt thou pour it out, like water.
17 Tsy azonao hanina ao an-tanànanao, na ny ampahafolon’ ny varinao sy ny ranom-boalobokao sy ny diloilonao, na ny voalohan-teraky ny ombinao sy ny ondry aman’ osinao, na ny zavatra rehetra hataonao voady, na ny fanati-tsitraponao, na ny fanatitra asandratry ny tananao.
Thou mayest not eat within thy gates, the tithe of thy corn or of thy new wine or of thine oil, or the firstlings of thy herd, or of thy flock, —nor any of thy vow-offerings which thou shalt vow, nor thy freewill, offerings, nor the heave-offering of thy hand;
18 Fa eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao no hihinananao azy, dia eo amin’ ny tany izay hofidin’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao, dia ianao sy ny zanakao-lahy sy ny zanakao-vavy sy ny ankizilahinao sy ny ankizivavinao ary ny Levita izay ao an-tanànanao; ary hifaly eo anatrehan’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao ianao amin’ izay rehetra hanin’ ny tananao.
but before Yahweh thy God, shalt thou eat it in the place which Yahweh thy God shall choose, thou and thy son and thy daughter, and thy servant and thy handmaid, and the Levite who is within thy gates, —so shalt thou rejoice before Yahweh thy God, in all whereunto thou puttest thy hand.
19 Mitandrema mba tsy ho foinao ny Levita amin’ ny andro rehetra hiainanao amin’ ny taninao.
Take heed to thyself, lest thou forsake the Levite, —all thy days upon thy soil.
20 Raha hitarin’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao ny fari-taninao, araka izay nolazainy taminao, ka hoy ianao: Hihinan-kena aho, satria maniry hihinan-kena ny fanahinao, dia mahazo mihinan-kena araka izay rehetra irin’ ny fanahinao ianao.
When Yahweh thy God shall enlarge thy boundary—as he hath spoken unto thee—and thou shalt say. I would eat flesh because thy soul desireth to eat flesh, of whatsoever thy soul desireth, mayest thou eat flesh.
21 Raha lavitra anao loatra ny tany izay hofidin’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao hasiany ny anarany, dia hamonoanao ny ombinao sy ny ondry aman’ osinao izay nomen’ i Jehovah anao, araka izay efa nandidiako anao, ary hohaninao ao an-tanànanao, araka izay rehetra irin’ ny fanahinao izany.
When the place which Yahweh thy God shall choose to put his name there, shall be, too far for thee, then shalt thou sacrifice of thy herd or of thy flock which Yahweh hath given unto thee, as I have commanded thee, —and shalt eat, within thine own gates, of whatsoever thy soul desireth.
22 Kanefa tahaka ny ahazoanao mihinana ny gazela sy ny diera no hahazoanao mihinana ireny: na ny maloto na ny madio dia samy mahazo mihinana azy.
Even as the gazelle and the hart is eaten, so, shalt thou eat it, —the unclean and the clean, alike shall eat it.
23 Kanefa tandremo tsara mba tsy hohaninao ny rà, fa ny rà no aina, ary tsy mahazo mihinana ny aina amin’ ny hena ianao.
Howbeit firmly refrain from eating the blood; for the blood, is the life, —therefore must thou not eat the life with the flesh.
24 Aza mihinana azy ianao, fa aidino amin’ ny tany toy ny rano izy;
Thou shalt not eat it, —upon the earth, shalt thou pour it out, like water.
25 eny, aza mihinana azy ianao, mba hahita soa ianao sy ny taranakao mandimby anao, raha manao izay mahitsy eo imason’ i Jehovah ianao.
Thou shalt not eat it, —that it may be well with thee and with thy children after thee when thou shalt do that which is right in the eyes of Yahweh.
26 Kanefa ny zava-masinao sy ny zavatra nataonao voady dia ento mankany amin’ ny tany izay hofidin’ i Jehovah.
Howbeit, thy holy things which thou shalt have and thy vow-offerings, shalt thou take and come in, unto the place which Yahweh shall choose;
27 Ary atero eo amin’ ny alitaran’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao ny fanatitra doranao, dia ny henany sy ny ràny; ary ny ran’ ny fanatitrao hafa dia aidino eo amin’ ny alitaran’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao, fa ny henany dia azonao hohanina ihany.
and shalt offer thine ascending-sacrifices, the flesh and the blood, upon the altar of Yahweh thy God, —and the blood of thine [other] sacrifices, shall be poured out upon the altar of Yahweh thy God, and then the flesh, shalt thou eat.
28 Tandremo, ka henoy izao teny rehetra izao, izay andidiako anao, mba hahita soa ianao sy ny taranakao mandimby anao mandrakizay, raha manao izay tsara sy mahitsy eo imason’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao ianao.
Observe and hear all these things which I am commanding thee, —that it may be well with thee and with thy children after thee, —unto times age-abiding, so long as thou shalt do that which is pleasing and right in the eyes of Yahweh thy God.
29 Rehefa aringan’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao eo anoloanao ny firenen-tsamy hafa, izay alehanao horesenao, ary handresy azy ianao ka honina eo amin’ ny taniny,
When Yahweh thy God shall cut off from before thee, the nations Whom thou art going in to dispossess, —and thou do dispossess them, and dwell in their land,
30 dia mitandrema, fandrao voafandrika hanaraka ny fanaony ianao, rehefa voaringana eo anoloanao izy; ary andrao mamotopototra ny amin’ ny andriamaniny ianao ka manao hoe: Nanao ahoana no nanompoan’ ireny firenena ireny ny andriamaniny? fa izaho koa mba hanao toy izany.
take heed to thyself lest thou be thrust after them, after they have been destroyed from before thee, —and lest thou enquire after their gods, saying—In what manner, did these nations serve their gods, that, I too, may do likewise?
31 Aza manao toy izany amin’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrao; fa ny fahavetavetana rehetra, izay halan’ i Jehovah, no nataony tamin’ ny andriamaniny; fa ny zananilahy sy ny zananivavy aza dia nodorany tamin’ ny afo ho an’ ny andriamaniny.
Thou shalt not do likewise unto Yahweh thy God, —for everything that is an abomination unto Yahweh which he doth hate, have they done unto their gods, for even their sons and their daughters, do they consume with fire unto their gods.
32 Izay rehetra andidiako anareo dia tandremo mba harahina; aza ampianao izany, ary aza anesoranao.
Whatsoever be the thing which I am commanding you, the same, shall ye observe to do, —thou shalt neither add thereunto, nor take away therefrom.
