1 Paoly, Apostolin’ i Kristy Jesosy noho ny sitrapon’ Andriamanitra, ary Timoty rahalahy,
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, and Timothy our brother,
2 mamangy ny olona masìna any Kolosia, dia ny rahalahy mahatoky ao amin’ i Kristy: ho aminareo anie ny fahasoavana sy ny fiadanana avy amin’ Andriamanitra Raintsika.
to the saints and faithful brethren in Christ [that are] at Colossæ: Grace to you and peace from God our Father.
3 Misaotra an’ Andriamanitra, Rain’ i Jesosy Kristy Tompontsika, izahay amin’ ny fangatahanay mandrakariva ho anareo,
We give thanks to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
4 rehefa renay ny finoanareo an’ i Kristy Jesosy sy ny fitiavanareo ny olona masìna rehetra,
having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have toward all the saints,

because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel,

which is come unto you; even as it is also in all the world bearing fruit and increasing, as [it doth] in you also, since the day ye heard and knew the grace of God in truth;
7 tahaka ny efa renareo tamin’ i Epafra, mpanompo namanay sady malala, izay mpanompon’ i Kristy mahatoky ho anay,
even as ye learned of Epaphras our beloved fellow-servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf,
8 sady efa nanambara taminay koa ny fitiavanareo ao amin’ ny Fanahy.
who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.
9 Ary noho izany izahay koa hatramin’ ny andro nandrenesanay dia tsy mitsahatra mivavaka sy mangataka ho anareo, mba hofenoina fahalalana tsara ny sitrapony ianareo amin’ ny fahendrena sy ny fahazavan-tsaina rehetra avy amin’ ny Fanahy,
For this cause we also, since the day we heard [it], do not cease to pray and make request for you, that ye may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,
10 mba handehananareo miendrika ny Tompo, hanaovana ny sitrapony amin’ ny zavatra rehetra, dia mahavokatra amin’ ny asa tsara rehetra sady mitombo amin’ ny fahalalana tsara an’ Andriamanitra,
to walk worthily of the Lord unto all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11 ary ampahatanjahina amin’ ny hery rehetra araka ny herin’ ny voninahiny ho amin’ ny faharetana rehetra sy ny fandeferana amin’ ny hafaliana,
strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, unto all patience and longsuffering with joy;
12 ka misaotra ny Ray, Izay nampahamendrika antsika hanana anjara amin’ ny lovan’ ny olona masìna eo amin’ ny mazava,
giving thanks unto the Father, who made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light;
13 sady nahafaka antsika tamin’ ny fahefan’ ny maizina ka namindra antsika ho amin’ ny fanjakan’ ny Zanany malalany,
who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love;
14 Izay ananantsika fanavotana, dia ny famelana ny helotsika.
in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins:
15 Izy no endrik’ Andriamanitra tsy hita, ny Lahimatoa talohan’ izao zavatra ary rehetra izao;
who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;
16 fa tao aminy no nahariana ny zavatra rehetra any an-danitra sy etỳ ambonin’ ny tany, dia ny hita sy ny tsy hita, na fiandrianana, na fanjakana, na fanapahana, na fahefana, Izy no nahariana ny zavatra rehetra, sady ho Azy izany;
for in him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and unto him;
17 ary Izy no talohan’ ny zavatra rehetra, sady ao aminy no aharetan’ ny zavatra rehetra.
and he is before all things, and in him all things consist.
18 Ary Izy no Lohan’ ny tena, dia ny fiangonana; Izy no voalohany, dia ny Lahimatoa tamin’ ny maty, mba ho Lohany amin’ ny zavatra rehetra Izy.
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
19 Fa sitraky ny Ray ho ao aminy no hitoeran’ ny fahafenoana rehetra,
For it was the good pleasure [of the Father] that in him should all the fulness dwell;
20 sady Izy no hampihavanany ny zavatra rehetra aminy, ka dia ny ràny teo amin’ ny hazo fijaliana no nanaovany fampihavanana ― eny, Izy, hoy izaho, no fampihavanana izany, na ny etỳ ambonin’ ny tany, na ny any an-danitra.
and through him to reconcile all things unto himself, having made peace through the blood of his cross; through him, [I say], whether things upon the earth, or things in the heavens.
21 Ary ianareo, izay olon-ko azy fahiny sy fahavalo tamin’ ny sainareo noho ny fanaovan-dratsy, no efa nampihavaniny ankehitriny
And you, being in time past alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil works,
22 tao amin’ ny tenan’ ny nofony, tamin’ ny fahafatesana, mba hatolony ho masìna sady tsy hanan-tsiny amam-pondro eo anatrehany,
yet now hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and unreproveable before him:
23 raha maharitra amin’ ny finoana ianareo ka mafy orina sady tafatoetra ary tsy mety hafindra hiala amin’ ny fanantenana avy amin’ ny filazantsara, izay efa renareo sady notorina eny ambanin’ ny lanitra rehetra eny; ary izany no nanaovana ahy Paoly ho mpanompo.
if so be that ye continue in the faith, grounded and stedfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel which ye heard, which was preached in all creation under heaven; whereof I Paul was made a minister.
24 Ankehitriny dia mifaly amin’ ny fiaretako ho anareo aho, ary mahatanteraka ao amin’ ny nofoko izay tsy vita tamin’ ny fahorian’ i Kristy ho an’ ny tenany, dia ny fiangonana,
Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and fill up on my part that which is lacking of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church;
25 izay nanaovana ahy ho mpanompo araka ny fitondran’ Andriamanitra nomena ahy ho anareo, hahatanteraka ny fitoriana ny tenin’ Andriamanitra,
whereof I was made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which was given me to you-ward, to fulfil the word of God,
26 dia ny zava-miafina, ilay voàfina hatramin’ ny fahagola sy ny taranaka maro, fa voaseho ankehitriny amin’ ny olony masìna, (aiōn g165)
[even] the mystery which hath been hid for ages and generations: but now hath it been manifested to his saints, (aiōn g165)
27 izay efa tian’ Andriamanitra ho nampahafantarina ny haren’ ny voninahitr’ ity zava-niafina ity any amin’ ny jentilisa, dia Kristy ao anatinareo, Izay fanantenana ny voninahitra;
to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
28 Izy no torinay, ka samy anarinay sy ampianarinay amin’ ny fahendrena rehetra ny olona rehetra, mba samy hatolotray ho tanteraka ao amin’ i Kristy izy rehetra.
whom we proclaim, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ;
29 Ary ny hahatanteraka izany no ikelezako aina koa sy iezahako fatratra araka ny fiàsan’ ny herin’ ilay miasa mahery ato anatiko.
whereunto I labor also, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
