< 2 Samoela 6 >

1 Ary novorin’ i Davida indray ny lehilahy voafantina rehetra tamin’ ny Isiraely, dia telo alina.
And David assembled again all the chosen men of Israel, thirty thousand.
2 Dia niainga Davida sy ny olona rehetra izay nanaraka azy ka niala tany Bala-joda hampakatra ny fiaran’ Andriamanitra izay niantsoana ny anaran’ i Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, Izay mipetraka amin’ ny kerobima.
And David arose, and went with all the people who were with him from Ba'ale-yehudah, to bring up from there the ark of God, the name of which was called by the name of the Lord of hosts, that dwelleth over the cherubim.
3 Ary nataony teo amin’ ny sariety vaovao ny fiaran’ Andriamanitra ka nentiny avy tao an-tranon’ i Abinadaba teo an-kavoana; ary Oza sy Ahio, zanak’ i Abinadaba, no nampandeha ny sariety vaovao.
And they conveyed the ark of God in a new wagon, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that was on the hill; and 'Uzzah and Achyo, the sons of Abinadab, guided the new wagon.
4 Ary dia nentiny niala tao an-tranon’ i Abinadaba teo ankavoana niaraka tamin’ ny fiaran’ Andriamanitra izany; ary Ahio nandeha teo alohan’ ny fiara.
When they brought it out of the house of Abinadab which was on the hill, [they were] near the ark of God; but Achyo went before the ark.
5 Ary Davida sy ny taranak’ Isiraely rehetra nitsinjaka teo anatrehan’ i Jehovah tamin’ ny karazan’ ny zava-maneno rehetra natao tamin’ ny hazo kypreso, dia tamin’ ny lokanga sy ny valiha sy ny ampongatapaka sy ny korintsana ary ny kipantsona.
And David and all the house of Israel played before the Lord on all manner of instruments made of fir-wood, and on harps, and on psalteries, and on tambourines, and with bells, and with cymbals.
6 Ary nony tonga teo amin’ ny famoloan’ i Nakona izy, dia naninjitra ny tanany tamin’ ny fiaran’ Andriamanitra Oza ka nihazona azy, satria nazeran’ ny omby ny fiara.
And when they came to the threshing-floor of Nachon, 'Uzzah put forth [his hand] to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it.
7 Dia nirehitra tamin’ i Oza ny fahatezeran’ i Jehovah; ary namely azy teo Andriamanitra noho ny fahadisoany, ka dia maty teo anilan’ ny fiaran’ Andriamanitra izy.
And the anger of the Lord was kindled against 'Uzzah; and God smote him there for the error; and he died there by the ark of God.
8 Ary dia tezitra Davida noho ny namelezan’ i Jehovah an’ i Oza, ka dia nataony hoe Perez-oza ny anaran’ izany tany izany mandraka androany.
And it was grievous to David, because the Lord had suddenly taken away 'Uzzah; and he called that place Perez-'uzzah [[Breach of 'Uzzah]] until this day.
9 Ary Davida natahotra an’ i Jehovah tamin’ izany andro izany ka nanao hoe: Nahoana no ho entina atỳ amiko ny fiaran’ i Jehovah?
And David was afraid of the Lord on that day, and said, How shall the ark of the Lord come to me?
10 Ary Davida dia tsy nety namindra ny fiaran’ i Jehovah ho ao aminy ao an-Tanànan’ i Davida; fa naviliny ho ao an-tranon’ i Obed-edoma Gatita.
So David would not allow to have the ark of the Lord removed unto him into the city of David; but David had it carried round into the house of 'Obed-edom the Gittite.
11 Ary nipetraka telo volana tao an-tranon’ i Obed-edoma Gatita ny fiaran’ i Jehovah; ka dia notahin’ i Jehovah Obed-edoma sy ny ankohonany rehetra.
And the ark of the Lord remained in the house of 'Obed-edom the Gittite three months: and the Lord blessed 'Obed-edom, and all his household.
12 Ary nambara tamin’ i Davida mpanjaka hoe: Jehovah efa nitahy ny ankohonan’ i Obed-edoma sy izay nananany rehetra noho ny fiaran’ Andriamanitra. Dia nandeha Davida ka nampakatra ny fiaran’ Andriamanitra tamim-pifaliana avy tao an-tranon’ i Obed-edoma ho any an-Tanànan’ i Davida.
And it was told to king David, saying, The Lord hath blessed the house of 'Obed-edom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God: and David then went and brought up the ark of God from the house of 'Obed-edom into the city of David with joy.
13 Ary rehefa namindra inenina ny mpitondra ny fiaran’ i Jehovah, dia namono omby sy zanak’ omby mifahy izy hatao fanatitra.
And it happened, that when the bearers of the ark of the Lord had progressed six paces, he sacrificed an ox and a fatling.
14 Ary Davida nitsinjaka mafy dia mafy teo anatrehan’ i Jehovah sady nisalotra efoda rongony fotsy.
And David danced with all his might before the Lord; and David was girded with a linen ephod.
15 Ary Davida sy ny taranak’ i Isiraely rehetra nampakatra ny fiaran’ i Jehovah tamin’ ny hoby sy ny feon’ ny anjomara.
So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting, and with the sound of the cornet.
16 Ary nony tonga teo an-Tanànan’ i Davida ny fiaran’ i Jehovah, dia nitsirika teo am-baravarankely Mikala, zanakavavin’ i Saoly, ka nahita an’ i Davida mpanjaka nibitaka sy nitsinjaka teo anatrehan’ i Jehovah; ka dia nikizaka azy tao am-pony izy.
And it happened, as the ark of the Lord came into the city of David, that Michal the daughter of Saul looked through the window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart.
17 Ary nampiditra ny fiaran’ i Jehovah ny olona ka nametraka azy teo amin’ ny fitoerany tao amin’ ny lay izay naorin’ i Davida hitoerany; ary Davida nanatitra fanatitra dorana sy fanati-pihavanana teo anatrehan’ i Jehovah.
And they brought in the ark of the Lord, and set it in its place, in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and David offered burnt-offerings before the Lord and peace-offerings.
18 Ary nony voatitr’ i Davida ny fanatitra dorana sy ny fanati-pihavanana, dia nitso-drano ny vahoaka tamin’ ny anaran’ i Jehovah, Tompon’ ny maro, izy.
And when David had made an end of offering the burnt-offerings and the peace-offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord of hosts.
19 Dia nomeny mofo iray sy hena iray didy ary ampempam-boaloboka iray avy ny olona rehetra, dia ny Isiraely rehetra, na lahy na vavy. Ary dia samy nody tany an-tranony avy ny olona rehetra.
And he dealt out to all the people, to the whole multitude of Israel, to both men and women, to every person one cake of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine: and all the people departed every one to his house.
20 Ary Davida koa mba nody hitso-drano ny ankohonany. Fa Mikala, zanakavavin’ i Saoly, nivoaka hitsena an’ i Davida ka nanao hoe: Akory ity voninahitry ny mpanjakan’ ny Isiraely androany! ilay nanary lamba anikeheo teo imason’ ny zanakavavin’ ny mpanompony, tahaka ny adala manary lamba ka tsy manan-kenatra.
And David then returned to bless his household. But Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and she said, How honored was today the king of Israel, who uncovered himself today before the eyes of the hand-maids of his servants, as only one of the low fellows can uncover himself!
21 Ary hoy kosa Davida tamin’ i Mikala: Teo anatrehan’ i Jehovah, Izay nifidy ahy noho ny rainao sy ny ankohonany rehetra ka nanendry ahy ho mpanapaka ny Isiraely, olon’ i Jehovah, eny, teo anatrehan’ i Jehovah no nitsinjahako.
And David said unto Michal, Before the Lord, who chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to ordain me ruler over the people of the Lord, over Israel: —yea, before the Lord will I yet farther play.
22 Ary mbola hivazina kokoa noho izany aza aho, ka hataoko tsinontsinona ny tenako; nefa hiaraka hanam-boninahitra amin’ ireo tovovavy nantsoinao ireo kosa aho.
And should I be yet more vile than thus, and should I be base in my own eyes: yet among the maid-servants of whom thou hast spoken, yea, among them would I still be honored.
23 Ka dia tsy nanan-janaka intsony mandra-pahafatiny Mikala, zanakavavin’ i Saoly.
And Michal the daughter of Saul had no child until the day of her death.
