< 2 Mpanjaka 15 >
1 Tamin’ ny taona fahafito amby roa-polo nanjakan’ i Jeroboama, mpanjakan’ ny Isiraely, no vao nanjakan’ i Azaria, zanak’ i Amazia, mpanjakan’ ny Joda.
In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.
2 Enina ambin’ ny folo taona izy, fony vao nanjaka, ary roa amby dimam-polo taona no nanjakany tany Jerosalema. Ary ny anaran-dreniny dia Jekolia, avy any Jerosalema.
Sixteen years old, was he when he began to reign, and, fifty-two years, reigned he in Jerusalem, —and, the name of his mother, was Jecholiah, of Jerusalem.
3 Ary nanao izay mahitsy eo imason’ i Jehovah izy tahaka izay rehetra nataon’ i Amazia rainy;
And he did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, —according to all that, Amaziah his father, had done.
4 kanefa ny fitoerana avo tsy mba noravana; fa mbola namono zavatra hatao fanatitra sady nandoro ditin-kazo manitra teny amin’ ny fitoerana avo ihany ny olona.
Only, the high places, took they not away, —still were the people sacrificing and burning incense in the high places.
5 Ary Jehovah namely ny mpanjaka, ka dia boka mandra-pahafatiny izy ka nitoetra tao an-trano nitokana. Ary Jotama, zanakalahin’ ny mpanjaka, no nanapaka tao an-dapa sy nitsara ny vahoaka.
And Yahweh smote the king, so that he became a leper, until the day of his death, and dwelt in a lazar-house, —and, Jotham, son of the king, was over the house, judging the people of the land.
6 Ary ny tantaran’ i Azaria sisa mbamin’ izay rehetra nataony, tsy efa voasoratra ao amin’ ny bokin’ ny tantaran’ ny mpanjakan’ ny Joda va izany?
Now, the rest of the story of Azariah, and all that he did, are, they, not written in the book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah.
7 Ary Azaria dia lasa nodimandry any amin’ ny razany, ka nalevina tao amin’ ny razany tao an-tanànan’ i Davida izy; ary Jotama zanany no nanjaka nandimby azy.
And Azariah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers, in the city of David, —and, Jotham his son, reigned, in his stead.
8 Tamin’ ny taona fahavalo amby telo-polo nanjakan’ i Azaria, mpanjakan’ ny Joda, no nanjakan’ i Zakaria, zanak’ i Jeroboama, tamin’ ny Isiraely, ary nanjaka enim-bolana tao Samaria izy.
In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, began Zechariah son of Jeroboam to reign over Israel, in Samaria, [and he reigned] six months.
9 Ary nanao izay ratsy eo imason’ i Jehovah tahaka ny nataon’ ny razany izy, fa tsy niala tamin’ ny fahotan’ i Jeroboama, zanak’ i Nebata, Izay nampanotany ny Isiraely.
And he did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, as did his fathers, —he turned not away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he caused, Israel, to commit.
10 Ary Saloma, zanak’ i Jabesy, nikomy taminy, dia namely azy teo anatrehan’ ny olona ka nahafaty azy ary nanjaka nandimby azy.
Then conspired against him, Shallum son of Jabesh, and smote him before the people, and slew him, —and reigned in his stead.
11 Ary ny tantaran’ i Zakaria sisa, indro fa efa voasoratra ao amin’ ny bokin’ ny tantaran’ ny mpanjakan’ ny Isiraely izany.
Now, the rest of the story of Zechariah, behold it! written in the book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
12 Izany no ilay tenin’ i Jehovah nolazainy tamin’ i Jeho hoe: Ny taranakao hatramin’ ny zafindohalika dia hipetraka amin’ ny seza fiandrianan’ ny Isiraely. Ka dia tanteraka izany.
That, was the word of Yahweh, which he spake unto Jehu, saying, Thy sons, to four generations, shall sit on the throne of Israel. And it was so!
13 Ary Saloma, zanak’ i Jabesy, dia vao nanjaka tamin’ ny taona fahasivy amby telo-polo nanjakan’ i Ozia, mpanjakan’ ny Joda; ary nanjaka andro iray volana tany Samaria izy.
Shallum the son of Jabesh, began to reign, in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah, king of Judah, —for the space of a month in Samaria.
14 Fa Menahema, zanak’ i Gady, niakatra avy tany Tirza ka nankany Samaria, dia namely an’ i Saloma, zanak’ i Jabesy, tany Samaria ka nahafaty azy ary nanjaka nandimby azy.
Then came up Menahem son of Gadi, from Tirzah, and entered Samaria, and smote Shallum son of Jabesh in Samaria, —and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
15 Ary ny tantaran’ i Saloma sisa mbamin’ ny nikomiany, indro fa efa voasoratra ao amin’ ny bokin’ ny tantaran’ ny mpanjakan’ ny Isiraely izany.
Now, the rest of the story of Shallum, and his conspiracy which he made, behold them! written in the book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel!
16 Tamin’ izany Menahema dia niala tany Tirza ka namely an’ i Tifsa mbamin’ izay rehetra tao hatramin’ ny sisin-taniny; fa tsy namoha vavahady azy Tifsa, ka dia nasiany, ary izay bevohoka rehetra tao notatahany.
Then, Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the boundaries thereof, from Tirzah, because they opened not, therefore he smote them, —all the women therein that were with child, he ripped up.
17 Tamin’ ny taona fahasivy amby telo-polo nanjakan’ i Azaria, mpanjakan’ ny Joda, no vao nanjakan’ i Menahema, zanak’ i Gady, tamin’ ny Isiraely, ary nanjaka folo taona tao Samaria izy.
In the thirty-ninth year of Azariah king of Judah, began Menahem son of Gadi to reign over Israel, ten years [reigned he], in Samaria.
18 Ary nanao izay ratsy eo imason’ i Jehovah izy, fa tamin’ ny androny rehetra dia tsy niala tamin’ ny fahotan’ i Jeroboama, zanak’ i Nebata, izay nampanotany ny Isiraely.
And he did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, —he turned not away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he caused, Israel, to commit, all his days.
19 Ary Pola, mpanjakan’ i Asyria, dia avy hananika ny tany; ary Menahema nanome an’ i Pola talenta volafotsy arivo mba hampitoetra ny fanjakana eo an-tànan’ i Menahema.
Pul the king of Assyria came against the land, so Menahem gave unto Pul, a thousand talents of silver, —that his hands might be with him, to confirm the kingdom, in his hand.
20 Ary nampandoavin’ i Menahema io vola io ny mpanankarena rehetra tamin’ ny Isiraely, dia sekely volafotsy dimam-polo avy isan-olona, homeny ny mpanjakan’ i Asyria. Ka dia niverina ny mpanjakan’ i Asyria, fa tsy nitoetra tao amin’ ny tany.
And Menahem exacted the silver of Israel, of all the mighty men of wealth, to give to the king of Assyria, fifty shekels of silver, of each man, —so the king of Assyria turned back, and stayed not there, in the land.
21 Ary ny tantaran’ i Menahema sisa mbamin’ izay rehetra nataony, tsy efa voasoratra ao amin’ ny bokin’ ny tantaran’ ny mpanjakan’ ny Isiraely va izany?
Now, the rest of the story of Menahem, and all that he did, are, they, not written in the book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
22 Ary Menahema lasa nodi-mandry any amin’ ny razany, ary Pekahia zanany no nanjaka nandimby azy.
And Menahem slept with his fathers, —and, Pekahiah his son, reigned in his stead.
23 Tamin’ ny taona fahadimam-polo nanjakan’ i Azaria, mpanjakan’ ny Joda, no vao nanjakan’ i Pekahia, zanak’ i Menahema, tamin’ ny Isiraely tao Samaria, ary nanjaka roa taona izy.
In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah, began Pekahiah son of Menahem to reign over Israel, in Samaria, [and he reigned] two years.
24 Ary nanao izay ratsy eo imason’ i Jehovah izy, fa tsy niala tamin’ ny fahotan’ i Jeroboama, zanak’ i Nebata, izay nampanotany ny Isiraely.
And he did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, —he turned not away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he caused, Israel, to commit.
25 Ary Peka, zanak’ i Remalia, lefiny, dia nikomy taminy ka namely an’ i Pekahia mbamin’ i Argoba sy Aria teo Samaria, tao amin’ ny trano-avo amin’ ny lapa, ary teo amin’ Peka nisy olona dimam-polo lahy tamin’ ny taranak’ i Gileada; koa namono azy izy, dia nanjaka nandimby azy.
And there conspired against him—Pekah son of Remaliah, a hero of his, and smote him in Samaria, in the citadel of the house of a king, with Argob and with Arieh, and, with him, fifty men of the sons of the Gileadites, —and he slew him, and reigned in his stead.
26 Ary ny tantaran’ i Pekahia sisa mbamin’ izay rehetra nataony, indro fa efa voasoratra ao amin’ ny bokin’ ny tantaran’ ny mpanjakan’ ny Isiraely izany.
Now, the rest of the story of Pekahiah, and all that he did, behold them! written in the book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel!
27 Tamin’ ny taona faharoa amby dimam-polo nanjakan’ i Azaria, mpanjakan’ ny Joda, no vao nanjakan’ i Peka, zanak’ i Remalia, tamin’ ny Isiraely tao Samaria, ary nanjaka roa-polo taona izy.
In the fifty-second year of Azariah king of Judah, began Pekah son of Remaliah to reign over Israel, in Samaria, [and he reigned] twenty years.
28 Ary nanao izay ratsy eo imason’ i Jehovah izy, fa tsy niala tamin’ ny fahotan’ i Jeroboama, zanak’ i Nebata, izay nampanotany ny Isiraely.
And he did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, —he turned not away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he caused, Israel, to commit.
29 Tamin’ ny andron’ i Peka, mpanjakan’ ny Isiraely, dia tonga Tiglato-pilesera, mpanjakan’ i Asyria, ka nahafaka an’ Iona sy Abela-beti-maka sy Janoa sy Kadesy sy Hazora sy Gileada ary Galilia, dia ny tanin’ ny Naftaly rehetra, ary nitondra ny olona ho babo tany Asyria izy.
In the days of Pekah king of Israel, came Tiglath-pileser, king of Assyria, and took Ijon, and Abel-beth-maachah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali—and carried them away captive to Assyria.
30 Ary Hosea, zanak’ i Elaha, nikomy tamin’ i Peta, Zanak’ i Remalia, dia namely azy ho faty ka nanjaka nandimby azy tamin’ ny taona faharoa-polo nanjakan’ i Jotama, zanak’ i Ozia.
And Hoshea son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah, son of Remaliah, and smote him, and slew him, and reigned in his stead, —in the twentieth year of Jotham, son of Uzziah.
31 Ary ny tantaran’ i Peka sisa mbamin’ izay rehetra nataony, indro fa efa voasoratra ao amin’ ny bokin’ ny tantaran’ ny mpanjakan’ ny Isiraely izany.
Now, the rest of the story of Pekah, and all that he did, behold them! written in the book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel!
32 Tamin’ ny taona faharoa nanjakan’ i Peka, zanak’ i Remalia, mpanjakan’ ny Isiraely, no vao nanjakan’ i Jotama, zanak’ i Ozia, mpanjakan’ ny Joda.
In the second year of Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel, began Jotham son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign.
33 Dimy amby roa-polo taona izy, fony vao nanjaka, ary enina ambin’ ny folo taona no nanjakany tany Jerosalema. Ary ny anaran-dreniny dia Jerosa, zanakavavin’ i Zadoka.
Twenty-five years old, was he, when he began to reign, and, sixteen years, reigned he, in Jerusalem, —and, the name of his mother, was Jerusha, daughter of Zadok.
34 Ary nanao izay mahitsy eo imason’ i Jehovah izy; tahaka izay rehetra nataon’ i Ozia rainy no nataony.
And he did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, —according to all that Uzziah his father had done.
35 Kanefa ny fitoerana avo tsy mba noravana; fa mbola namono zavatra hatao fanatitra sady nandoro ditin-kazo manitra teny amin’ ny fitoerana avo ihany ny olona. Izy no nanao ny vavahady ambony amin’ ny tranon’ i Jehovah.
Only, the high places, took they not away, still were the people offering sacrifice and burning incense in the high places, —he, built the upper gate of the house of Yahweh.
36 Ary ny tantaran’ i Jotama sisa mbamin’ Izay rehetra nataony, tsy efa voasoratra ao amin’ ny bokin’ ny tantaran’ ny mpanjakan’ ny Joda va izany?
Now, the rest of the story of Jotham, what he did, is, it, not written in the book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?
37 Tamin’ izany andro Izany no vao nampandehanan’ i Jehovah an’ i Rezina, mpanjakan’ i Syria, sy Peka, zanak’ i Remalia, hanafika an’ i Joda.
In those days, began Yahweh to send against Judah, Rezin, king of Syria, —and Pekah son of Remaliah.
38 Ary Jotama lasa nodi-mandry any amin’ ny razany, dia nalevina tao amin’ ny razany tao an-Tanànan’ i Davida rainy izy; ary Ahaza zanany no nanjaka nandimby azy.
And Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers, in the city of David his father, —and, Ahaz his son, reigned, in his stead.
