2 Korintiana 9

1 Fa ny amin’ ny fiantrana ho an’ ny olona masìna, dia tsy misy tokony hanoratako aminareo;

Now concerning the relief intended for the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:

2 fa fantatro ny fahazotoanareo, izay ataoko rehareha ny aminareo amin’ ny Makedoniana hoe: Efa vonona hatry ny taon-itsy Akaia, ary ny zotom-ponareo dia namporisika ny maro.

for I know your readiness of mind, which I boast of concerning you to the Macedonians, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath excited many.

3 Kanefa naniraka ireo rahalahy ireo ihany aho, fandrao dia ho foana ny reharehanay ny aminareo amin’ izany zavatra izany, mba ho vonona ianareo araka izay nolazaiko,

But I have sent the brethren, that our boasting of you might not become vain in this respect, but that ye might be ready, as I had said:

4 fandrao, raha tàhiny hisy hiaraka amiko ny avy eto Makedonia ka hahita anareo tsy mbola vonona, dia ho menatra izahay (mba tsy hanaovanay hoe, ianareo) noho izany fahatokiana izany.

least if the Macedonians should come with me, and find you unprepared, we should be ashamed (not to say you also) in this confident boasting.

5 Koa nataoko fa tsy maintsy mangataka ny rahalahy handeha hialoha ho any aminareo aho ka hahavita rahateo ny fiantranareo izay nokasainareo teo aloha, mba hovitaina toy ny fiantrana izany, fa tsy toy ny fahihirana.

Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren to go first to you, and before our coming to collect your bounty beforementioned, that it may be ready, as of munificence, and not of force.

6 Fa izao no lazaiko: Izay mamafy kely, dia kely no hojinjany; fa izay mamafy be, dia be kosa no hojinjany.

But this I say, He that soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he that soweth bountifully shall also reap bountifully.

7 Aoka ny olona rehetra samy hanao araka izay inian’ ny fony avy, tsy amin’ ny alahelo, na amin’ ny faneriterena; fa ny mpanome amin’ ny fifaliana no tian’ Andriamanitra.

Let every one give as he chuses in his own heart; not with reluctance, or constraint: for God loveth a chearful giver.

8 Ary Andriamanitra mahay mampitombo ny fahasoavana rehetra aminareo, mba hanananareo ny onony rehetra mandrakariva amin’ ny zavatra rehetra, ka hitombo amin’ ny asa tsara rehetra;

And God is able to make all grace abound towards you; that having always all sufficiency in every thing, ye may abound in every good work:

9 araka ny voasoratra hoe: Namafy izy, eny, nanome ho an’ ny malahelo; Ny fahamarinany maharitra mandrakizay. (aiōn g165)

(as it is written, "He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor, his righteousness continueth for ever." (aiōn g165)

10 Ary Izay manome voa ho an’ ny mpamafy sy mofo hohanina dia hanome sy hahabe ny voa afafinareo ary hampitombo ny vokatry ny fahamarinanareo,

And may He, who supplieth seed to the sower, and giveth bread for food, furnish and multiply your sowing, and increase the fruits of your bounty: )

11 dia hanan-karena amin’ ny zavatra rehetra ianareo ka handroso amin’ ny hitsim-po, izay mahatonga ny fisaoranay an’ Andriamanitra.

being in every thing enriched to all liberality, which produceth through us thanksgiving to God.

12 Fa ny fanaovana izany fanompoam-pivavahana izany dia tsy mahafaka ny alahelon’ ny olona masìna ihany, fa mahabe ny fisaoran’ ny maro an’ Andriamanitra koa,

For the ministration of this service not only supplieth the wants of the saints, but aboundeth also, through many thanksgivings, to the glory of God.

13 satria ny fizahan-toetra anareo amin’ izany fanompoana izany no ankalazany an’ Andriamanitra noho ny fitananareo tsara ny fanekenareo ny filazantsaran’ i Kristy sy noho ny fahazotoanareo amin’ ny fiantrana ho azy sy ho an’ ny olona rehetra;

(While from the experience of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection to the gospel of Christ, and the liberality of your communication to them, and to all men.)

14 ary amin’ ny fangatahany ho anareo dia manina anareo izy noho ny haben’ ny fahasoavan’ Andriamanitra aminareo.

And in their prayer for you, who long after you because of the transcendent grace of God towards you.

15 Isaorana anie Andriamanitra noho ny fanomezany tsy azo tononina.

Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!
