< 1 Mpanjaka 7 >

1 Ary telo ambin’ ny folo taona no nanaovan’ i Solomona ny lapany, dia vita.
Solomon was thirteen years building a house for himself till it was complete.
2 Fa nanao ilay trano Alan’ i Libanona izy: zato hakiho ny lavany, dimam-polo hakiho ny sakany, ary telo-polo hakiho ny hahavony, teo ambonin’ ny andry sedera efatra an-dalana mbamin’ ny sedera rairainy teo ambonin’ ny andry.
And he made the house of the Woods of Lebanon, which was a hundred cubits long and fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high, resting on four lines of cedar-wood pillars with cedar-wood supports on the pillars.
3 Ary ireo efi-trano teo ambonin’ ny andry notafoany hazo sedera; ary ny isany dia dimy ambin’ ny folo isan’ an-dalana, ka dimy amby efa-polo izy rehetra.
And it was covered with cedar over the forty-five supports which were on the pillars, fifteen in a line.
4 Ary ny rairainy dia telo an-dalana, ary ny varavarankely dia nifanandrify intelo.
There were three lines of window-frames, window facing window in every line.
5 Ary ny varavarana rehetra sy ny tolana dia natao efa-joro; ary ny varavarankely nifanandrify intelo.
And all the doors and windows had square frames, with the windows facing one another in three lines.
6 Ary dia nataony koa ny lavarangana maro andry; dimam-polo hakiho ny lavany, ary telo-polo hakiho ny sakany; nisy koa ny lavarangana fidirana teo anoloany; ary nisy andry sy tokonana koa teo anoloan’ io.
And he made a covered room of pillars, fifty cubits long and thirty cubits wide, and ... with steps before it.
7 Ary nataony koa ny lavarangana hitoeran’ ny seza fiandrianana izay hitsarany, dia ny lavarangana fitsarana; ary nataony hazo sedera avokoa ny gorodona rehetra.
Then he made a covered room for his high seat when he gave decisions; this was the covered room of judging; it was covered with cedar-wood from floor to roof.
8 Ary ny tranony izay nitoerany teo amin’ ny kianja hafa tao anatinatiny kokoa noho ny lavarangana fidirana dia nitovy rafitra tamin’ io koa. Ary Solomona nanao trano tahaka izany lavarangana fidirana izany koa ho an’ ny zanakavavin’ i Farao, izay efa nampakariny ho vady.
And the house for his living-place, the other open square in the covered room, was made in the same way. And then he made a house like it for Pharaoh's daughter, whom Solomon had taken as his wife.
9 Izany rehetra izany dia vato tsara avokoa voapaika araka ny marika, sady voatsofa ny atiny sy ny ivelany, hatramin’ ny fanambaniny ka hatramin’ ny tongolany, ary teo ivelany koa hatramin’ ny kianja lehibe.
All these buildings were made, inside and out, from base to crowning stone, and outside to the great walled square, of highly priced stone, cut to different sizes with cutting-instruments.
10 Ary vato tsara sady lehibe ny fanorenany, dia vato folo hakiho sy valo hakiho.
And the base was of great masses of highly priced stone, some ten cubits and some eight cubits square.
11 Ary teo ambony nisy vato tsara voapaika araka ny marika sy hazo sedera;
Overhead were highly priced stones cut to measure, and cedar-wood.
12 ary manodidina ny kianja lehibe dia nasiany vato voapaika telo an-dalana sy hazo sedera iray an-dalana, tahaka ny amin’ ny kianja anatiny amin’ ny tranon’ i Jehovah sy amin’ ny lavarangana fidirana amin’ ny trano.
The great outer square all round was walled with three lines of squared stones and a line of cedar-wood boards, round about the open square inside the house of the Lord and the covered room of the king's house.
13 Ary Solomona mpanjaka naniraka haka an’ i Hirama avy tany Tyro.
Then King Solomon sent and got Hiram from Tyre.
14 Zanaky ny vehivavy mpitondra-tena tamin’ ny firenen’ i Naftaly izy, nefa rainy dia lehilahy Tyriana, mpiasa varahina; feno fahendrena sy fahiratan-tsaina ary fahaizana izy hahavitany ny asa varahina rehetra. Dia tonga tao amin’ i Solomona mpanjaka Hirama ka nanao izay asa rehetra tao aminy.
He was the son of a widow of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in brass; he was full of wisdom and knowledge and an expert worker in brass. He came to King Solomon and did all his work for him.
15 Dia nanao ny andry varahina roa izy: valo ambin’ ny folo hakiho avy ny hahavony, ary roa ambin’ ny folo hakiho ny manodidina azy.
He it was who made the two brass pillars; the first pillar was eighteen cubits high, and a line of twelve cubits went round it; and the second was the same.
16 Ary nanao kapitaly varahina roa an-idina izy hatao eo amin’ ny tampon’ ny andry: dimy hakiho avy ny hahavony,
And he made the two crowns to be put on the tops of the pillars, of brass made soft in the fire; the crowns were five cubits high.
17 ary harato sy fesitona miolana amin’ ny kapitaly izay teo amin’ ny tampon’ ny andry avy: fito amin’ ny kapitaly iray, ary fito koa amin’ ny kapitaly iray.
There were nets of open-work for the crowns on the tops of the pillars, a net of open-work for one and a net of open-work for the other.
18 Ary nanao ny andry izy, ary nisy roa an-dalana manodidina tamin’ ny asa harato iray, hafono ny kapitaly izay teo an-tampon’ ny andry; ary toy izany koa no nataony tamin’ ny kapitaly iray.
And he made ornaments of apples; and two lines of apples all round over the network, covering the crowns of the pillars, the two crowns in the same way.
19 Ary ny kapitaly izay teo an-tampon’ ny andry dia nataony mitarehim-boninkazo lilia tahaka ny amin’ ny lavarangana fidirana, ary efatra hakiho ny hahavony;
The crowns on the tops of the pillars were ornamented with a design of flowers, and were four cubits across.
20 ary ny kapitaly teo an-tampon’ ny andry roa dia teo ambony koa, teo akaikin’ ny kibony izay anatin’ ny harato; ary nisy sarin’ ampongabendanitra roan-jato nifanandalana nanodidina ny kapitaly avy.
And there were crowns on the two pillars near the round part by the network, and there were two hundred apples in lines round every crown.
21 Ary ny andry dia natsangany teo amin’ ny lavarangana fidirana amin’ ny efitra lehibe: ny andry ankavanana natsangany, ka ny anarany nataony hoe Jakina; ary ny andry ankavia natsangany koa, ka ny anarany nataony hoe Boaza.
He put up the pillars at the doorway of the Temple, naming the one on the right Jachin, and that on the left Boaz.
22 Ary nisy natao mitarehim-boninkazo lilia teo an-tampon’ ny andry. Toy izany no nahavitany ny asa tamin’ ny andry.
The tops of the pillars had a design of flowers; and the work of making the pillars was complete.
23 Ary nanao ny tavin-drano an-idina boribory lehibe izy, ka folo hakiho no halehiben’ ny vavany ary dimy hakiho ny hahavony, ary telo-polo hakiho ny manodidina azy.
And he made a great metal water-vessel ten cubits across from edge to edge, five cubits high and thirty cubits round.
24 Ary tambanin’ ny molotry ny tavin-drano lehibe manodidina nisy sarim-boantango manodidina azy, folo amin’ ny iray hakiho manodidina ny tavin-drano lehibe, ary naidiny ho roa an-dalana ny sarim-boantango sady niara-nataony an-idina tamin’ ny tavin-drano.
And under the edge of it, circling it all round for ten cubits, were two lines of flower buds, made together with it from liquid metal.
25 Ary ny tavin-drano dia nipetraka tambonin’ ny sarin’ omby roa ambin’ ny folo; ny telo nanatrika ny avaratra, ny telo nanatrika ny andrefana, ny telo nanatrika ny atsimo, ary ny telo nanatrika ny atsinanana; ary ny tavin-drano lehibe dia teo ambonin’ ireo, ary niady vody izy rehetra.
It was supported on twelve oxen, with their back parts turned to the middle of it, three of them facing to the north, three to the west, three to the south, and three to the east; the vessel was resting on top of them.
26 Ary ny hateviny dia vodivoam-pelatanana, ary ny molony nataony tahaka ny molotry ny kapoaka, dia tahaka ny vonin’ ny lilia; ary nahalany roa arivo bata izy.
It was as thick as a man's open hand, and was curved like the edge of a cup, like the flower of a lily: it would take two thousand baths.
27 Ary nanao ny fitoeran-tavin-drano varahina folo izy: efatra hakiho ny lavan’ ny anankiray, ary efatra hakiho koa ny sakany, ary telo hakiho ny hahavony.
And he made ten wheeled bases of brass; every one four cubits long, four cubits wide, and three cubits high.
28 Ary toy izao ny asa amin’ ireo fitoeran-tavin-drano ireo: nisy kobany izy, ary ireo kobany ireo dia teo anatin’ ny sisiny;
And the bases were made in this way; their sides were square, fixed in a framework;
29 ary tamin’ ny kobany izay nohodidinin’ ny sisiny dia nisy sarin-diona sy omby ary kerobima; ary teo ambonin’ ny sisiny koa nisy faladiany; ary teo ambanin’ ny sarin-diona sy omby nisy fesitona mihantona.
And on the square sides between the frames were lions, oxen, and winged ones; and the same on the frame; and over and under the lions and the oxen and the winged ones were steps.
30 Ary isan’ ireo fitoeran-tavin-drano ireo nisy kodia varahina efatra sy tanan-kodia varahina, ary ny tongony efatra nisy sorony; teo ambanin’ ny tavin-drano no nisy ny sorony an-idina manandrify ny fesitona tsirairay.
Every base had four wheels of brass, turning on brass rods, and their four angles had angle-plates under them; the angle-plates under the base were of metal, and there were ornaments at the side of every one.
31 Ary ny vavan’ ny fitoeran-tavin-drano dia teo anatin’ ny kapitaliny, ary mbola nisy iray hakiho teo ambonin’ io; ary ny vavany dia hakiho iray sy tapany sady boribory tahaka ny amin’ ny faladia, ary tamin’ ny vavany koa nisy soratra, ary ny kobany teo aminy dia efajoro, fa tsy boribory.
The mouth of it inside the angle-plate was one cubit across; it was round like a pillar, a cubit and a half across; it had designs cut on it; the sides were square, not round.
32 Ary ny kodia efatra dia teo ambanin’ ny kobany; ary ny fihazonana ny tanan-kodia dia nikambana tamin’ ny fitoeran-tavin-drano ihany; ary hakiho iray sy tapany ny hahavon’ ny kodia.
The four wheels were under the frames, and the rods on which the wheels were fixed were in the base; the wheels were a cubit and a half high.
33 Ary ny fomban’ ny kodia dia tahaka ny amin’ ny kodian-kalesy: ny tànany sy ny boriboriny manodidina azy sy ny tanamasoandrony ary ny foitrany dia nataony an-idina avokoa.
The wheels were made like carriage-wheels, the rods on which they were fixed, the parts forming their edges, their rods and the middle points of them, were all formed out of liquid metal.
34 Ary nisy sorony efatra tamin’ ny zorony efatra amin’ ny fitoeran-tavin-drano iray, sady nitranga avy teo amin’ ny fitoeran-tavin-drano ireo.
And there were four angle-plates at the four angles of every base, forming part of the structure of the base.
35 Ary teo an-tampon’ ny fitoeran-tavin-drano dia nisy boribory manodidina, irain-jehy ny hahavony; ary teo an-tampon’ ny fitoeran-tavin-drano koa ny fitombenany sy ny kobany dia natao an-idina iray aminy.
And at the top of the base there was a round vessel, half a cubit high;
36 Fa ny koban’ ny sorony sy ny kobany hafa nosoratany nasiany sarin’ ny kerobima sy liona ary hazo rofia, araka izay nahafeno azy avy, sady nasiany fesitona manodidina.
In the spaces of the flat sides and on the frames of them, he made designs of winged ones, lions, and palm-trees, with ornamented edges all round.
37 Tahaka izany no nanaovany ny fitoeran-tavin-drano folo: samy natao an-idina avokoa, ary nitovy halehibe sy nitovy tarehy izy.
All the ten bases were made in this way, after the same design, of the same size and form.
38 Ary nanao tavin-drano varahina folo koa izy; ny tavin-drano samy nahalany efa-polo bata avy; ary samy efatra hakiho avy ny tavin-drano; ary tavin-drano iray avy no tamin’ ny fitoerany folo.
And he made ten brass washing-vessels, everyone taking forty baths, and measuring four cubits; one vessel was placed on every one of the ten bases.
39 Ary nametraka ny fitoeran-tavin-drano dimy teo ankavanan’ ny trano izy, ary ny dimy teo ankavian’ ny trano, ary ilay tavin-drano lehibe nataony teo ankavanan’ ny trano, dia teo atsimo-atsinanana.
And he put the bases by the house, five on the right side and five on the left; and he put the great water-vessel on the right side of the house, to the east, facing south.
40 Ary Hirama nanao ny tavin-drano sy ny sotron’ afo ary ny lovia famafazana; ka dia vitan’ i Hirama ny asa rehetra izay nataony ho an’ i Solomona mpanjaka ho amin’ ny tranon’ i Jehovah:
And Hiram made the pots and spades and the basins. So Hiram came to the end of all the work he did for King Solomon in the house of the Lord:
41 dia ny andry roa sy ny boriboriny roa amin’ ny kapitaly izay teny an-tampon’ ny andry roa, sy ny harato roa izay hafono ny boriboriny roa amin’ ny kapitaly izay teo an-tampon’ ny andry avy,
The two pillars and the two cups of the crowns which were on the tops of the two pillars; and the network covering the two cups of the crowns on the tops of the pillars,
42 ary ny sarin’ ampongabendanitra efa-jato ho amin’ ny harato roa, ampongabendanitra roa an-dalana ho amin’ ny harato iray hafono ny boriboriny roa amin’ ny kapitaly izay teny an-tampon’ ny andry avy,
And the four hundred apples for the network, two lines of apples for every network, covering the two cups of the crowns on the pillars;
43 ary ny fitoeran-tavin-drano folo sy ny tavin-drano folo ho eo ambonin’ ny fitoerany
And the ten bases, with the ten washing-vessels on them;
44 ary ny tavin-drano lehibe iray sy ny sarin’ omby roa ambin’ ny folo teo ambaniny.
And the great water-vessel, with the twelve oxen under it;
45 ary ny vilany fandraofan-davenona sy ny sotron’ afo ary ny lovia famafazana. Ary ireo fanaka rehetra ireo, izay nataon’ i Hirama ho an’ i Solomona mpanjaka ho amin’ ny tranon’ i Jehovah, dia varahina manganohano avokoa.
And the pots and the spades and the basins; all the vessels which Hiram made for King Solomon, for the house of the Lord, were of polished brass.
46 Teo amin’ ny tany amoron’ i Jordana no nanaovan’ ny mpanjaka an-idina azy tamin’ ny tanimanga teo anelanelan’ i Sokota sy Zaretana.
He made them of liquid metal in the lowland of Jordan, at the way across the river, at Adama, between Succoth and Zarethan.
47 Ary tsy nolanjain’ i Solomona ny fanaka rehetra, satria be loatra izy; ary tsy nozahana izay lanjan’ ny varahina.
The weight of all these vessels was not measured, because there was such a number of them; it was not possible to get the weight of the brass.
48 Ary Solomona nanao ny fanaka rehetra izay ao amin’ ny tranon’ i Jehovah: ny alitara volamena sy ny latabatra volamena, izay fitoeran’ ny mofo aseho,
And Solomon had all the vessels made for use in the house of the Lord: the altar of gold and the gold table on which the holy bread was placed;
49 ary ny fanaovan-jiro, dimy amin’ ny ankavanana ary dimy amin’ ny ankavia, teo anoloan’ ny efitra anatiny, dia samy volamena tsara; ary ny voniny sy ny lela fanaovan-jiro ary ny hetin-jiro dia volamena koa;
And the supports for the lights, five on the right side and five on the left before the inmost room, of clear gold; and the flowers and the lights and all the instruments of gold;
50 ary ny vilia sy ny antsy sy ny lovia famafazana sy ny lovia kely sy ny fitoeran-davenon-jiro dia volamena tsara; ary ny vavin-tsavily ho amin’ ny lela-varavaran’ ny efitra anatiny, dia ny fitoerana masìna indrindra, sy ho amin’ ny lela-varavaran’ ny efi-trano lehibe dia volamena avokoa.
And the cups and the scissors and the basins and the spoons and the fire-trays, all of gold; and the pins on which the doors were turned, the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and the doors of the Temple, all of gold.
51 Toy izany no nahavitana ny asa nataon’ i Solomona mpanjaka ho amin’ ny tranon’ i Jehovah; ary nampidirin’ i Solomona ny zavatra izay efa nohamasinin’ i Davida rainy, dia ny volafotsy sy ny volamena ary ny fanaka, sa nataony tao amin’ ny rakitry ny tranon’ i Jehovah.
So all the work King Solomon had done in the house of the Lord was complete. Then Solomon took the holy things which David his father had given, the silver and the gold and all the vessels, and put them in the store-houses of the house of the Lord.
