1 Korintiana 4
1 Aoka hataon’ ny olona ho mpanompon’ i Kristy sy mpitandrina’ ny zava-miafina izay an’ Andriamanitra izahay.
Let a man so thinke of vs, as of the ministers of Christ, and disposers of the secrets of God:
2 Ary raha izany, dia fantatrareo fa ny mpitandrina dia tokony ho olona mahatoky.
And as for the rest, it is required of the disposers, that euery man be found faithfull.
3 Fa raha ny amiko, dia ataoko ho zavatra kely foana, na hotsarainareo aho, na hotsarain’ olona fa ny tenako aza tsy mitsara ahy.
As touching me, I passe very litle to be iudged of you, or of mans iudgement: no, I iudge not mine owne selfe.
4 Fa tsy hitako izay tsiniko, nefa tsy mahamarina ahy izany; fa ny Tompo no Mpitsara ahy:
For I know nothing by my selfe, yet am I not thereby iustified: but he that iudgeth me, is the Lord.
5 koa amin’ izany aza mitsara na inona na inona alohan’ ny fotoana, dia ny fihavian’ ny Tompo, Izay hampiharihary ny zavatra takona ao amin’ ny maizina ka hampiseho ny fikasan’ ny fo; dia samy hahazo izay derany avy amin’ Andriamanitra izy rehetra.
Therefore iudge nothing before the time, vntill the Lord come, who will lighten things that are hid in darkenesse, and make the counsels of the hearts manifest: and then shall euery man haue praise of God.
6 Ary izany zavatra izany, ry rahalahy, nataoko oha-teny hilaza ahy sy Apolosy noho ny aminareo, mba hianaranareo aminay ny tsy hihoatra noho ny voasoratra, mba tsy hisy hireharehanareo hankalaza ny anankiray, fa hanevateva ny anankiray kosa.
Nowe these things, brethren, I haue figuratiuely applied vnto mine owne selfe and Apollos, for your sakes, that ye might learne by vs, that no man presume aboue that which is written, that one swell not against another for any mans cause.
7 Fa iza no mampihoatra anao? Ary inona no anananao, izay tsy noraisinao? Fa raha nandray ihany ianao, nahoana no mirehareha hoatra ny tsy nandray?
For who separateth thee? and what hast thou, that thou hast not receiued? if thou hast receiued it, why reioycest thou, as though thou haddest not receiued it?
8 Efa afa-po sahady ianareo, efa manan-karena sahady ianareo, efa manjaka ianareo; kanefa hay! tsy izahay tsy akory no nahazoanareo izany! Enga anie ka manjaka tokoa ianareo, hiarahanay sy ianareo manjaka.
Nowe ye are full: nowe ye are made rich: ye reigne as kings without vs, and would to God ye did reigne, that we also might reigne with you.
9 Fa ataoko fa nasehon’ Andriamanitra ho faraidina izahay Apostoly, dia toy izay voaheloka hovonoina; fa izahay dia natao ho fizàhan’ izao rehetra izao, na anjely na olona.
For I thinke that God hath set forth vs the last Apostles, as men appointed to death: for we are made a gasing stocke vnto the worlde, and to the Angels, and to men.
10 Izahay dia adala noho ny amin’ i Kristy, fa ianareo no hendry ao amin’ i Kristy! izahay malemy, fa ianareo no mahery! ianareo manandaza, fa izahay mavomavo!
We are fooles for Christes sake, and ye are wise in Christ: we are weake, and ye are strong: ye are honourable, and we are despised.
11 Mandraka ankehitriny izao dia noana sy mangetaheta sy tsy manan-kitafy sy asiana totohondry ary tsy manana antom-ponenana izahay;
Vnto this houre we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and haue no certaine dwelling place,
12 Ary misasatra miasa amin’ ny tananay izahay; raha tevatevaina izahay, dia misaotra; raha enjehina, dia miaritra;
And labour, working with our owne handes: we are reuiled, and yet we blesse: we are persecuted, and suffer it.
13 raha tenenina mafy, dia mamaly teny moramora kosa; atao toy ny faditr’ izao tontolo izao izahay, dia faikan’ ny olona rehetra, mandraka ankehitriny.
We are euill spoken of, and we pray: we are made as the filth of the world, the offskowring of all things, vnto this time.
14 Tsy ny hahamenatra anareo anefa no anoratako izany zavatra izany, fa mananatra anareo toy ny zanako malalako aho.
I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloued children I admonish you.
15 Fa na dia manana mpampianatra iray alina ao amin’ i Kristy aza ianareo, dia tsy maro ray ianareo; fa izaho no niteraka anareo ao amin’ i Kristy Jesosy tamin’ ny filazantsara.
For though ye haue tenne thousand instructours in Christ, yet haue ye not many fathers: for in Christ Iesus I haue begotten you through the Gospel.
16 Koa mananatra anareo aho: manahafa ahy ianareo.
Wherefore, I pray you, be ye folowers of me.
17 Ary noho izany dia nirahiko ho any aminareo Timoty, zanako malalako sy mahatoky ao amin’ ny Tompo, ka izy no hampahatsiaro anareo ny fanaoko ao amin’ i Kristy, tahaka ny ampianariko ao amin’ ny fiangonana rehetra eny tontolo eny.
For this cause haue I sent vnto you Timotheus, which is my beloued sonne, and faithfull in the Lord, which shall put you in remembrance of my wayes in Christ as I teache euery where in euery Church.
18 Fa ny sasany mirehareha hoatra ilay tsy mikasa ho avy any aminareo iny aho.
Some are puffed vp as though I woulde not come vnto you.
19 Fa ho avy any aminareo faingana aho, raha sitrapon’ ny Tompo, dia ho fantatro izay herin’ ireo mpirehareha ireo, fa tsy ny fiteniny.
But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will knowe, not the wordes of them which are puffed vp, but the power.
20 Fa ny fanjakan’ Andriamanitra tsy amin’ ny teny, fa amin’ ny hery.
For the kingdome of God is not in worde, but in power.
21 Inona ary no tianareo? Ho avy aminareo mitondra tsorakazo va aho, sa amin’ ny fitiavana sy ny fahalemem-panahy?
What will ye? shall I come vnto you with a rod, or in loue, and in ye spirite of meekenes?
