And the sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

Eleazar was the father of Phinehas; Phinehas was the father of Abishua;

And Ahimaaz was the father of Azariah, and Azariah was the father of Johanan,

And Johanan was the father of Azariah, (he was priest in the house which Solomon put up in Jerusalem: )

And Azariah was the father of Amariah, and Amariah was the father of Ahitub,

12 ary Ahitoba niteraka an’ i Zadoka; ary Zadoka niteraka an’ i Saloma;

And Ahitub was the father of Zadok, and Zadok was the father of Shallum,

13 ary Saloma niteraka an’ i Hilkia; ary Hilkia niteraka an’ i Azaria;

And Shallum was the father of Hilkiah, and Hilkiah was the father of Azariah,

14 ary Azaria niteraka an’ i Seraia; ary Seraia niteraka an’ i Jozadaka;

And Azariah was the father of Seraiah, and Seraiah was the father of Jehozadak;

And Jehozadak went as a prisoner when the Lord took away Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.

And these are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni and Shimei.

And the sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites listed by the names of their fathers.

They gave worship with songs before the House of the Tent of meeting, till Solomon put up the house of the Lord in Jerusalem; and they took their places for their work in their regular order.

33 dia izao no nanompo mbamin’ ny zanany: Tamin’ ny zanakalahin’ ny Kehatita dia Hemana mpihira, zanakalahin’ i Joela, zanakalahin’ i Samoela,

And these are those who did this work, and their sons. Of the sons of the Kohathites: Heman, who made melody, the son of Joel, the son of Samuel,

34 zanakalahin’ i Elkana, zanakalahin’ i Jerohama, zanakalahin’ i Eliala, zanakalahin’ i Toa.

The son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah,

The son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,

To them they gave Hebron and its outskirts in the land of Judah;

But the open country of the town, and the small places round it, they gave to Caleb, the son of Jephunneh.

And to the sons of Aaron they gave Hebron, the town to which men might go in flight and be safe, and Libnah with its outskirts, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa with its outskirts,

And Hilen with its outskirts, Debir with its outskirts,

59 ary Asana sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Beti-semesy sy ny tany manodidina azy;

And Ashan with its outskirts, and Beth-shemesh with its outskirts;

60 ary avy tamin’ ny firenen’ i Benjamina dia Geba sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Alemeta sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Anotata sy ny tany manodidina azy. Dia telo ambin’ ny folo no isan’ ny tanànan’ izy mianakavy rehetra.

And from the tribe of Benjamin: Geba with its outskirts, and Alemeth with its outskirts, and Anathoth with its outskirts. All their towns among their families were thirteen towns.

61 Ary ny an’ ny taranak’ i Kehata sisa tamin’ ny fokon’ izany firenena izany dia tanàna folo araka ny filokana tamin’ ny antsasaky ny firenen’ i Manase.

And to the rest of the sons of Kohath there were given by the Lord's decision ten towns out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim and out of the tribe of Dan and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh.

62 Ary ny an’ ny taranak’ i Gersona araka ny fokony dia tanàna telo ambin’ ny folo tamin’ ny firenen’ Isakara sy ny firenen’ i Asera sy ny firenen’ i Naftaly ary ny firenen’ i Manase any Basana.

And to the sons of Gershom, by their families, out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen towns.

63 Ary ny loka azon’ ny taranak’ i Merary araka ny fokony dia tanàna roa ambini ny folo avy tamin’ ny firenen’ i Robena sy ny firenen’ i Gada ary ny firenen’ i Zebolona.

And to the sons of Merari, by their families, twelve towns were given by the Lord's decision, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun.

64 Dia nomen’ ny Zanak’ i Isiraely ho an’ ny Levita ireo tanàna ireo sy ny tany manodidina azy.

And the children of Israel gave to the Levites the towns with their outskirts.

65 Ary nomeny tamin’ ny filokana ireto tanàna tononina ireto avy tamin’ ny firenena taranak’ i Joda sy ny firenena taranak’ i Simeona ary ny firenena taranak’ i Benjamina.

And they gave by the Lord's decision out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these towns whose names are given.

66 Fa ny sasany amin’ ny fokon’ ny taranak’ i Kehata dia nahazo tanàna avy tamin’ ny firenen’ i Efraima.

And to the families of the sons of Kohath were given towns by the Lord's decision out of the tribe of Ephraim.

67 Ary nomeny azy Sekema, tanàna fiarovana, tao amin’ ny tany havoan’ i Efraima sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Gazera sy ny tany manodidina azy

And they gave them the town to which men might go in flight and be safe, Shechem in the hill-country of Ephraim with its outskirts, and Gezer with its outskirts,

68 ary Jokmeama sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Beti-horona sy ny tany manodidina azy

And Jokmeam with its outskirts, and Beth-horon with its outskirts,

69 ary Aialona sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Gata-rimona sy ny tany manodidina azy;

And Aijalon with its outskirts, and Gath-rimmon with its outskirts;

70 ary ny avy tamin’ ny antsasaky ny firenen’ i Manase dia Amera sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Bileama sy ny tany manodidina azy, dia ho an’ ny fokon’ ny taranak’ i Kehata sisa.

And out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Aner with its outskirts, and Bileam with its outskirts, for the rest of the family of the sons of Kohath.

71 Ary ny an’ ny taranak’ i Gersona dia Golana any Basana sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Astarta, sy ny tany manodidina azy avy tamin’ ny antsasaky ny firenen’ i Manase;

To the sons of Gershom were given, out of the family of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with its outskirts, and Ashtaroth with its outskirts;

72 ary ny avy tamin’ ny firenen’ Isakara dia Kadesy sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Daberata sy ny tany manodidina azy

And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kedesh with its outskirts, and Daberath with its outskirts,

73 ary Ramota sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Anema sy ny tany manodidina azy;

And Ramoth with its outskirts, and Anem with its outskirts;

74 ary ny avy tamin’ ny firenen’ i Asera dia Masala sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Abdona sy ny tany manodidina azy

And out of the tribe of Asher, Mashal with its outskirts, and Abdon with its outskirts,

75 ary Hokoka sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Rehoba sy ny tany manodidina azy;

And Hukok with its outskirts, and Rehob with its outskirts;

76 ary ny avy tamin’ ny firenen’ i Naftaly dia Kadesy any Galilia sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Hamona sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Kiriataima sy ny tany manodidina azy.

And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its outskirts, and Hammon with its outskirts, and Kiriathaim with its outskirts.

77 Ary ny an’ ny sisa, taranak’ i Merary, dia avy tamin’ ny firenen’ i Zebolona, dia Rimono sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Tabara sy ny tany manodidina azy;

To the rest of the Levites, the sons of Merari, were given, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmono with its outskirts, Tabor with its outskirts;

78 ary any an-dafin’ i Jordana, tandrifin’ i Jeriko, atsinanan’ i Jordana, koa dia avy tamin’ ny firenen’ i Robena, dia Bazera any an-efitra sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Jaza sy ny tany manodidina azy

And on the other side of Jordan, at Jericho, on the east side of Jordan, were given them, out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the waste land with its outskirts, and Jahzah with its outskirts,

79 ary Kedemota sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Mefata sy ny tany manodidina azy;

And Kedemoth with its outskirts, and Mephaath with its outskirts;

80 ary avy tamin’ ny firenen’ i Gada dia Ramota-gileada sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Mahanaima sy ny tany manodidina azy

And out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with its outskirts, and Mahanaim with its outskirts,

81 ary Hesbona sy ny tany manodidina azy ary Jazera sy ny tany manodidina azy.

And Heshbon with its outskirts, and Jazer with its outskirts.
