The sonnes of Iudah were Pharez, Hezron, and Carmi, and Hur, and Shobal.
2 Ary Reaia, zanakalahin’ i Sobala, niteraka an’ i Jahata; ary Jahata niteraka an’ i Ahomay sy Lahada. Ireo no fokon’ ny Zoraïta.
And Reaiah the sonne of Shobal begat Iahath, and Iahath begate Ahumai, and Lahad: these are the families of the Zoreathites.

And these were of the father of Etam, Izreel, and Ishma and Idbash: and the name of their sister was Hazelelponi.

But Iabez was more honourable then his brethren: and his mother called his name Iabez, saying, Because I bare him in sorowe.
10 Ary Jabeza niantso an’ Andriamanitry ny Isiraely hoe: Enga anie ka hotahinao tokoa aho, ka hohalalahinao ny fari-taniko, ary ho amiko ny tananao, ka harovanao amin’ ny ratsy aho, mba tsy hampahory ahy izany. Ary dia nomen’ Andriamanitra azy ny nangatahiny.

And Shimei had sixteene sonnes, and sixe daughters, but his brethren had not many children, neither was all their familie like to the children of Iudah in multitude.

And they dwelt at Beer-sheba, and at Moladah, and at Hazar Shual,

And at Bilhah, and at Ezem, and at Tolad,
30 sy Betoela sy Horma sy Ziklaga
And at Bethuel, and at Hormah, and at Ziklag,

And at Beth-marcaboth, and at Hazar Susim, at Beth-birei, and at Shaaraim, these were their cities vnto the reigne of Dauid.

And all their townes that were rounde about these cities vnto Baal, These are their habitations and the declaration of their genealogie,

And Meshobab, and Iamlech, and Ioshah the sonne of Amashiah,
35 ary Joela sy Jeho, zanak’ i Josibia, zanak’ i Seraia, zanak’ i Asiela,
And Ioel and Iehu the sonne of Ioshibiah, the sonne of Seraiah, the sonne of Asiel,
36 ary Elioenay sy Jakoba sy Jesohaia sy Asaia sy Adiela sy Jesimiela sy Benaia
And Elionai, and Iaakobah, and Ieshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Iesimiel, and Benaiah,
37 sy Ziza, zanak’ i Sify, zanak’ i Alona, zanak’ i Jedaia, zanak’ i Simry, zanak’ i Semaia;
And Ziza the sonne of Shiphei, the sonne of Allon, the sonne of Iedaiah, the sonne of Shimri, the sonne of Shemaiah.
38 ireo voalaza anarana ireo dia samy lohany tamin’ ny fotony avy; ary efa nihamaro indrindra ny fianakaviany.
These were famous princes in their families, and increased greatly their fathers houses.
39 Ary nankany amin’ ny fidirana ho any Gedora izy, dia hatramin’ ny ilany atsinanana amin’ ny lohasaha, hitady ahitra ho an’ ny ondriny aman’ osiny.
And they went to the entring in of Gedor, euen vnto the East side of the valley, to seeke pasture for their sheepe.
40 Ary nahita ahitra maitso sady tsara izy, ary malalaka ny tany sady nandry fahizay; nefa ny taranak’ i Hama no nonina tany taloha.
And they found fat pasture and good, and a wide land, both quiet and fruitfull: for they of Ham had dwelt there before.
41 Ary ireo voasoratra anarana ireo dia tonga tao tamin’ ny andron’ i Hezekia, mpanjakan’ ny Joda, ka namely ny lay sy ny fonenana hitany tao sy nandringana azy rehetra mandraka ankehitriny, dia nonina nisolo azy; fa nisy ahitra ho an’ ny ondriny aman’ osiny tany.
And these described by name, came in the dayes of Hezekiah king of Iudah, and smote their tents, and the inhabitants that were found there, and destroyed them vtterly vnto this day, and dwelt in their roume, because there was pasture there for their sheepe.
