1 Ary novorin’ i Davida tany Jerosalema ny lehibe rehetra tamin’ ny Isiraely, dia ny lohan’ ny firenena sy ny komandin’ ny antokony Izay nanompo ny andriamanjaka, ary ny mpifehy arivo sy ny mpifehy zato sy ny mpitandrina ny harena mbanin’ ny fananana rehetra an’ ny mpanjaka sy ny zanany mbamin’ ny tandapa sy ny lehilahy mahery, dia ny lehibe rehetra.
Nowe Dauid assembled all the princes of Israel: the princes of the tribes, and the captaines of the bandes that serued the King, and the captaines of thousands and the captaines of hundreths, and the rulers of all the substance and possession of the King, and of his sonnes, with the eunuches, and the mightie, and all the men of power, vnto Ierusalem.
2 Ary Davida mpanjaka nitsangana ka nanao hoe: Mihainoa ahy, ry rahalahiko sy ry vahoakako! Raha izaho, dia efa mby tato am-poko ny hanao trano fitsaharana ho an’ ny fiaran’ ny faneken’ i Jehovah sy ho an’ ny fitoeran-tongotr’ Andriamanitsika, ary efa novononiko izay ho enti-manao azy;
And King Dauid stoode vp vpon his feete; and saide, Heare ye me, my brethren and my people: I purposed to haue buylt an house of rest for the Arke of the couenant of the Lord, and for a footestoole of our God, and haue made ready for the building,
3 nefa hoy Andriamanitra tamiko: Tsy hanao trano ho an’ ny anarako ianao, satria lehilahy mpiady sy mpandatsa-drà.
But God sayde vnto me, Thou shalt not buylde an house for my Name, because thou hast bene a man of warre, and hast shed blood.
4 Nefa kosa Jehovah, Andriamanitra ny Isiraely efa nifidy ahy tamin’ ny ankohonan’ ny raiko rehetra ho mpanjakan’ ny Isiraely mandrakizay; fa Joda no nofidiny ho mpanjaka, ary tamin’ ny taranak’ i Joda indray dia ny ankohonan’ ny raiko no nofidiny; ary tamin’ ny ankohonan’ ny raiko dia izaho kosa no nankasitrahany ka nataony mpanjaka amin’ ny Isiraely rehetra.
Yet as the Lord God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father, to be King ouer Israel for euer (for in Iudah woulde he chuse a prince, and of the house of Iudah is the house of my father, and among the sonnes of my father he delited in me to make me King ouer all Israel)
5 Ary tamin’ ny zanako rehetra (fa zanaka maro no nomen’ i Jehovah ahy) dia Solomona zanako no nofidiny hipetraka amin’ ny seza fiandrianan’ ny fanjakan’ i Jehovah hanjaka amin’ ny Isiraely.
So of all my sonnes (for the Lord hath giuen me many sonnes) he hath euen chosen Salomon my sonne to sit vpon the throne of the kingdome of the Lord ouer Israel.
6 Ary hoy Izy tamiko: Solomona zanakao no hanao ny tranoko sy ny kianjako, fa efa nifidy azy ho zanako Aho, ary Izaho ho rainy.
And he sayd vnto me, Salomon thy sonne, he shall build mine house and my courtes: for I haue chosen him to be my sonne, and I will be his father.
7 Ary hampitoetra ny fanjakany ho mandrakizay Aho, raha maharitra mitandrina ny didiko sy ny fitsipiko mandra-kariva izy tahaka ny amin’ izao anio izao.
I will stablish therefore his kingdome for euer, if he endeuour himselfe to do my commandements, and my iudgements, as this day.
8 Ary ankehitriny, eto anatrehan’ ny Isiraely rehetra, fiangonan’ i Jehovah, sy eto anatrehan’ Andriamanitsika, tandremo sy diniho ny didin’ i Jehovah Andriamanitrareo rehetra, mba hahatananareo ity tany soa ity, sady havelanareo ho lovan’ ny zanakareo mandimby anareo, mandrakizay izy.
Now therefore in the sight of all Israel the Congregation of the Lord, and in the audience of our God, keepe and seeke for all the commandements of the Lord your God, that ye may possesse this good lande, and leaue it for an inheritance for your children after you for euer.
9 Ary ianao, ry Solomona zanako, aoka ho fantatrao Andriamanitry ny rainao, ka manompoa Azy amin’ ny fo rehetra sy ny fanahy mazoto; fa Jehovah, dia mpandinika ny fo rehetra, ary ny fieritreretana rehetra dia fantany avokoa. Raha mitady Azy ianao, dia hahita Azy; fa raha mahafoy Azy kosa ianao, dia hariany mandrakizay.
And thou, Salomon my sonne, know thou the God of thy father, and serue him with a perfit heart, and with a willing minde: For the Lord searcheth all hearts, and vnderstandeth all the imaginations of thoughts: if thou seeke him, he will be found of thee, but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for euer.
10 Koa mitandrema; fa Jehovah efa nifidy anao hanao trano ho fitoerana masìna; dia mahereza ka mahefà.
Take heede now, for the Lord hath chosen thee to buylde the house of the Sanctuarie: be strong therefore, and doe it.
11 Ary Davida nanome an’ i Solomona zanany ny sarin’ ny lavarangana fidirana sy ny tranony sy ny trano firaketany sy ny efi-trano ambony sy ny efi-trano anatiny ary ny trano misy ny rakotra fanaovam-panavotana,
Then Dauid gaue to Salomon his sonne the paterne of the porch and of the houses thereof, and of the closets thereof, and of the galleries thereof, and of the chambers thereof that are within, and of the house of the mercieseate,
12 ary ny sarin’ izay rehetra efa niseho tamin’ ny fanahiny; dia ny amin’ ny kianjan’ ny tranon’ i Jehovah sy ny efi-trano rehetra manodidina azy ho an’ ny rakitry ny tranon’ i Jehovah sy ny zavatra nohamasinina ho rakitra,
And the paterne of all that he had in his minde for the courtes of the house of the Lord, and for all the chambers round about, for the treasures of the house of God, and for the treasures of the dedicate things,
13 sy ho an’ ny antokon’ ny mpisorona sy ny Levita koa, ary ho an’ ny fanompoana rehetra ao an-tranon’ i Jehovah sy ho an’ ny fanaka rehetra ho enti-manompo ao an-tranon’ i Jehovah,
And for the courses of the Priestes, and of the Leuites, and for all the woorke for the seruice of the house of the Lord, and for all the vessels of the ministerie of the house of the Lord.
14 ary ny lanjan’ ny volamena hanaovana ny fanaka volamena samy hafa rehetra, ary ny lanjan’ ny volafotsy koa hanaovana ny fanaka volafotsy samy hafa rehetra,
He gaue of golde by weight, for the vessels of gold, for all the vessels of all maner of seruice, and all the vessels of siluer by weight, for all maner vessels of all maner of seruice.
15 ary ny lanjan’ ny volamena hanaovana ny fanaovan-jiro volamena sy ny lela fanaovan-jirony araka ny lanjany avy, ary ny lanjan’ ny volafotsy hanaovana ny fanaovan-jiro volafotsy sy ny lela fanaovan-jirony araka ny fombany avy,
The weight also of golde for the candlestickes, and gold for their lampes, with the weight for euery candlesticke, and for the lampes thereof, and for the candlestickes of siluer by the weight of the candlesticke, and the lampes thereof, according to the vse of euery candlesticke,
16 ary ny lanjan’ ny volamena hanaovana ireo latabatra hametrahana ny mofo aseho, ary ny amin’ ny volafotsy ho amin’ ny latabatra volafotsy,
And the weight of the gold for the tables of shewbread, for euery table, and siluer for the tables of siluer,
17 ary ny amin’ ny fitrebika sy ny lovia famafazana ary ny fitoeran-divay, izay samy volamena tsara, ary ny amin’ ny kapoaka misarona, na ny volamena, na ny volafotsy, araka ny lanjany avy,
And pure golde for the fleshhookes, and the bowles, and plates, and for basens, golde in weight for euery basen, and for siluer basens, by weight for euery basen,
18 ary ny lanjan’ ny volamena voadio hanaovana ny alitara fandoroana ditin-kazo manitra; ary nomeny koa ny sarin’ ny kalesy, dia ny kerobima volamena, izay manana elatra mivelatra ka manaloka ny fiaran’ ny faneken’ i Jehovah.
And for the altar of incense, pure golde by weight, and golde for the paterne of the charet of the Cherubs that spread themselues, and couered the Arke of the couenant of the Lord:
19 Izany asa rehetra araka ny sary izany, hoy Davida, no nampahafantarin’ i Jehovah ahy tamin’ ny soratra avy tamin’ ny tànany, izay atỳ amiko.
All, said he, by writing sent to me by the hand of the Lord, which made me vnderstand all the workemanship of the paterne.
20 Ary hoy koa Davida tamin’ i Solomona zanany: Mahereza sy matanjaha ka mahefà; aza matahotra na mivadi-po; fa Jehovah Andriamanitra, dia Andriamanitro, no momba anao; tsy handao na hahafoy anao Izy ambara-pahavitanao ny asa rehetra hanaovana ny tranon’ i Jehovah.
And Dauid said to Salomon his sonne, Be strong, and of a valiant courage and doe it: feare not, nor be afraide: for the Lord God, euen my God is with thee: he will not leaue thee nor forsake thee till thou hast finished all the worke for the seruice of the house of the Lord.
21 Ary indreo ny antokon’ ny mpisorona sy ny Levita hanao ny fanompoana rehetra ao an-tranon’ Andriamanitra; ary ao aminao hanampy amin’ ny asa samy hafa rehetra ny olon-kendry izay manolo-tena mba hahavita ny fanompoana rehetra sy ny mpifehy ary ny vahoaka rehetra hankatò ny didinao.
Beholde also, the companies of the Priests and the Leuites for all the seruice of the house of God, euen they shall be with thee for the whole worke, with euery free heart that is skilfull in any maner of seruice. The princes also and all the people will be wholy at thy commandement.
