1 Ary ny amin’ ny Zanak’ Isiraely araka ny isany, dia ny lohan’ ny fianakaviany sy ny mpifehy arivo sy ny mpifehy zato ary ny mpifehy azy, izay nanompo ny mpanjaka tamin’ izay raharahany rehetra isan-tokony, Izay nifandimby isam-bolana mandritra ny herintaona, dia efatra arivo amby roa alina avy no isan’ ny isan-tokony.
And [these are] the children of Israel after their number; [to wit, ] the chiefs of the family divisions and the captains of the thousands and the hundreds, and their officers that served the king in every matter of the divisions, that came in and went out month by month, throughout all the months of the year, every division being twenty and four thousand.

Over the first division for the first month was Jashob'am the son of Zabdiel; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
3 isan’ ny taranak’ i Fareza izy sady lohan’ ny mpifehy rehetra tamin’ ny miaramila amin’ ny volana voalohany.
[He] of the children of Perez was the chief of all the captains of the armies for the first month.
4 Ary ny nifehy ny antokony ho amin’ ny volana faharoa dia Dodo Ahohita; Miklota andriandahy no isan’ ny antokony; ary ny antokon’ ny Ahohita dia efatra arivo amby roa alina.
And over the division of the second month was Dodai the Achochite, and of his division was Mikloth also the ruler; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
5 Ny komandin’ ny antokony fahatelo tamin’ ny miaramila, ho amin’ ny volana fahatelo, dia Benaia lohany, zanak’ i Joiada mpisorona; ary ny antokony dia efatra arivo amby roa alina.
The third captain of the army for the third month was Benayahu the son of Jehoyada', the priest, the chief; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
6 Io no ilay Benaia, izay nahery sady ambony tamin’ izy telo-polo lahy; Amizabada zanany no isan’ ny antokony.
This Benayahu was the mighty among the thirty, and [set] over the thirty'; and of his division was 'Ammizabad his son.
7 Ny fahefatra, ho amin’ ny volana fahefatra, dia Asahela, rahalahin’ i Joaba, ary Zebadia zanany no nanarakaraka azy; ary ny antokony dia efatra arivo amby roa alina.
The fourth for the fourth month was 'Assahel the brother of Joab, with Zebadyah his son after him; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
8 Ny fahadimy, ho amin’ ny volana fahadimy, dia Samihota Jizarita; ary ny antokony dia efatra arivo amby roa alina.
The fifth for the fifth month was the captain Shamhuth the Yizrachite; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
9 Ny fahenina, ho amin’ ny volana fahenina, dia Ira, zanak’ Ikesy Tekoïta; ary ny antokony dia efatra arivo amby roa alina.
The sixth for the sixth month was 'Ira the son of 'Ikkesh the Theko'ite; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
10 Ny fahafito, ho amin’ ny volana fahafito, dia Heleza Pelonita, isan’ ny taranak’ i Efraima; ary ny antokony dia efatra arivo amby roa alina.
The seventh for the seventh month was Chelez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
11 Ny fahavalo, ho amin’ ny volana fahavalo, dia Sibekay Hosatita, isan’ ny Zerita; ary ny antokony dia efatra arivo amby roa alina.
The eighth for the eighth month was Sibbechai the Chushathite, of the Zarchites: and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
12 Ny fahasivy, ho amin’ ny volana fahasivy, dia Abiezera Anatotita, Isan’ ny Benjamita; ary ny antokony dia efatra arivo amby roa alina.
The ninth for the ninth month was Abi'ezer the 'Anthothite, of Benjamin; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
13 Ny fahafolo, ho amin’ ny volana fahafolo, dia Maharay Netofatita, isan’ ny Zerita; ary ny antokony dia efatra arivo amby roa alina.
The tenth for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zarchites; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
14 Ny fahiraika ambin’ ny folo, ho amin’ ny volana fahiraika ambin’ ny folo, dia Benaia Piratonita, isan’ ny taranak’ i Efraima; ary ny antokony dia efatra arivo amby roa alina.
The eleventh for the eleventh month was Benayah the Pir'athonite, of the children of Ephraim; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
15 Ny faharoa ambin’ ny folo, ho amin’ ny volana faharoa ambin’ ny folo, dia Helday Netofatita, isan’ ny taranak’ i Otniela; ary ny antokony dia efatra arivo amby roa alina.
The twelfth for the twelfth month was Cheldai the Netophathite, of 'Othniel; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.

Moreover over the tribes of Israel: Of the Reubenites was ruler Eli'ezer the son of Zichri; of the Simeonites, Shephatyahu the son of Ma'achah;
17 tamin’ ny Levita dia Hasabia, zanakalahin’ i Kemoela; tamin’ ny Aronita dia Zadoka;
Of the Levites, Chashabyah the son of Kamuel; of [the sons of] Aaron, Zadok;
18 tamin’ ny Joda dia Eliho, izay isan’ ny rahalahin’ i Davida; tamin’ ny Isakara dia Omry, zanakalahin’ i Mikaela;
Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brothers of David; of Issachar, 'Omri the son of Michael;
19 tamin’ ny Zebolona dia Jismala, zanakalahin’ i Obadia; tamin’ ny Naftaly dia Jerimota, zanakalahin’ i Azriela;
Of Zebulun, Yishma'yahu the son of 'Obadyahu; of Naphtali, Jerimoth the son of 'Azriel;
20 tamin’ ny taranak’ i Efraima dia Hosea, zanakalahin’ i Azazia; tamin’ ny antsasaky ny firenen’ i Manase dia Joela, zanakalahin’ i Pedaia;
Of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea, the son of 'Azazyahu; of the half tribe of Menasseh, Joel the son of Pedayahu;
21 tamin’ ny antsasaky ny firenen’ i Manase tao Gileada dia Ido, zanakalahin’ i Zakaria; tamin’ ny Benjamina dia Jasiela, zanakalahin’ i Abnera;
Of the half tribe of Menasseh in Gil'ad, Yiddo the son of Zecharyahu; of Benjamin, 'Ja'assiel the son of Abner;
22 tamin’ ny Dana dia Azarela, zanakalahin’ i Jerohama. Ireo no lohan’ ny firenen’ Isiraely.
Of Dan, 'Azarel the son of Jerocham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.
23 Nefa tsy nanisa ny hatramin’ ny roa-polo taona no ho midìna Davida; fa Jehovah efa nilaza fa hampitombo ny Isiraely ho tahaka ny kintana eny amin’ ny lanitra Izy.
But David took not their number from twenty years old and under; because the Lord had said he would multiply Israel like the stars of the heavens.

Joab the son of Zeruyah began to number [them]; but he finished not, and there came wrath because of it against Israel: and the number was not entered in the account of the chronicles of king David.

And over the king's treasures was 'Azmaveth the son of 'Adiel; and over the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, was Jehonathan the son of 'Uzziyahu.

And over those that did the work of the field, in the tillage of the ground, was 'Ezri the son of Kelub.
27 ary ny tonian’ ny tanim-boaloboka dia Simey Ramatita; ary ny tonian’ ny divay tehirizina any amin’ ny tanim-boaloboka dia Zebdy Sifmita;
And over the vineyards was Shim'i the Ramathite; and over what was in the vineyards, as regardeth the supplies of wine, was Zabdi the Shiphmite.
28 ary ny tonian’ ny hazo oliva sy ny aviavy eny amin’ ny tany lemaka amoron-tsiraka dia Bala-hanana Gaderita; ary ny tonian’ ny diloilo tehirizina dia Joasy;
And over the olive-trees and the sycamore-trees that were in the lowlands was Ba'al-chanan the Gederite: and over the supplies of oil was Jo'ash.

And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite; and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of 'Adlai.
30 ary ny tonian’ ny rameva dia Obila Ismaelita; ary ny tonian’ ny borikivavy dia Jedda Meronotita;
And over the camels was Obil the Ishma'elite; and over the she-asses was Yechdeyahu the Meronothite.
31 ary ny tonian’ ny ondry aman’ osy dia Jaziza Hagarita. Ireo rehetra ireo no tonian’ ny fananan’ i Davida mpanjaka.
And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagerene. All these were the rulers of the property which belonged to king David.

Also Jonathan David's uncle was a counsellor, being a man of understanding and acquainted with law; and Jeshiel the son of Chachmoni was with the king's sons;

And Achithophel was the king's counsellor; and Chushai the Arkite was the king's friend;
34 ary ny manarakaraka an’ i Ahitofela dia Joiada, zanak’ i Benaia, sy Abiatara; ary ny komandin’ ny miaramilan’ ny mpanjaka dia Joaba.
And after Achithophel [came] Jehoyada' the son of Benayahu and Ebyathar; and the captain of the king's army was Joab.
