1 Ary ny amin’ ny antokon’ ny mpiandry varavarana: Tamin’ ny Koraïta dia Meselemia, zanak’ i Kore, avy tamin’ ny zanak’ i Asafa.
To the courses of the door-keepers, pertained, —of the Korahites, Meshelemiah son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph;
2 Ary ny zanakalahin’ i Meselemia dia Zakaria, lahimatoa, sy Jediaela, lahiaivo, sy Zebadia, fahatelo, sy Jediaela, fahefatra,
and, Meshelemiah, had sons, —Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth;
3 sy Elama, fahadimy, sy Johanana, fahenina, sy Elihoenay, faralahy.
Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Eliehoenai the seventh.
4 Ary ny zanakalahin’ i Obed-edoma dia Semaia, lahimatoa, sy Jozabada, lahiaivo, sy Joa, fahatelo, sy Sakara, fahefatra, sy Netanela, fahadimy,
And, Obed-edom, had sons, —Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Josh the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethanel the fifth;
5 sy Amiela, fahenina, sy Isakara, fahafito, sy Peoletahy, faralahy; fa Andriamanitra efa nitahy azy.
Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai, the eighth, —for God had blessed him.
6 Ary Semaia zanany niteraka zazalahy maromaro izay samy tonga mpanapaka tamin’ ny fianakavian-drainy, satria samy lehilahy mahay izy.
And, to Shemaiah his son, were born sons, who bare rule to their ancestral house, —for, heroes of valour, were they.
7 Ny zanakalahin’ i Semaia dia Otny sy Refaela sy Obeda ary Elzabada mbamin’ ireo rahalahiny, lehilahy mahay, dia Eliho sy Semakia.
the sons of Shemaiah, were Othni and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brethren were sons of valour, —Elihu, and Semachiah.
8 Ireo rehetra ireo no avy tamin’ ny zanak’ i Obed-edoma, dia izy sy ny zanany sy ny rahalahiny, izay samy lehilahy mahery sady matanjaka amin’ ny fanompoany; roa amby enim-polo no an’ i Obed-edoma.
All these, were of the sons of Obed-edom, they and their sons and their brethren, able men in strength for the service, —sixty-two, pertaining to Obed-edom.
9 Ary Meselemia nanan-janaka sy rahalahy valo ambin’ ny folo, samy lehilahy mahay avokoa.
And, Meshelemiah, had sons, and brethren, sons of valour, eighteen.
10 Ary Hosa, tamin’ ny taranak’ i Merary, nanan-janakalahy, dia Simry, lohany (fa na dia tsy lahimatoa aza izy, dia izy no nataon-drainy ho lohany),
And, Hosah of the sons of Merari, had sons, —Shimri the chief, for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father, made him, chief.
11 sy Hilkia, lahiaivo, sy Tebalia, fahatelo, ary Zakaria, fahefatra; ny zanakalahin’ i Hosa sy ny rahalahiny rehetra dia telo ambin’ ny folo.
Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth, —all the sons and brethren of Hosah, were thirteen.
12 Ireo lohan’ ny tonian’ ny mpiandry varavarana ireo dia nomena anjara-raharaha niaraka tamin’ ny rahalahiny hanao fanompoam-pivavahana ao an-tranon’ i Jehovah.
To these, belonged the courses of door-keepers, to the chiefs of the strong men, belonged charges, equally with their brethren, —to be in attendance in the house of Yahweh.
13 Ary izy ireo, na ny kely na ny lehibe, dia nanao filokana avokoa araka ny fianakaviany ny ho amin’ ny isam-bavahady.
Yea they cast lots, as the small so the great, by their ancestral house, for every several gate.
14 Koa ny loka tamin’ ny atsinanana dia azon’ i Selemia. Ary nanaovana filokana Zakaria zanany, mpanolo-tsaina hendry, ka ny loka tamin’ ny avaratra no azony.
And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. And, for Zechariah his son, a discreet counsellor, they cast lots, and his lot came out, northward.
15 An’ i Obed-edoma ny atsimo, ary an’ ny zanany ny trano firaketana.
To Obed-edom, southward, —and, to his sons, the storehouse.
16 An’ i Sopima sy Hosa ny andrefana mbamin’ ny vavahady Saleketa amin’ ny lalana miakatra; ary dia feno avokoa ny fiambenana.
To Shuppim and to Hosah, westward, near the refuse-gate, in the causeway that goeth up, —one ward as well as another.
17 Ny atsinanana nisy Levita enina, ny avaratra nisy efatra Isan’ andro, ny atsimo nisy efatra isan’ andro, ary ny trano firaketana nisy efa-dahy nizara ho roa avy.
Eastward—daily, were six, —northward—daily, four, southward—daily, four, and, for the stores, two and two.
18 Tany Parbara andrefana nisy efatra amin’ ny lalana, ary roa tao Parbara.
For the precinct—westward, four, at the causeway, two—by the precinct.
19 Dia Ireo no antokon’ ny mpiandry varavarana tamin’ ny taranak’ i Kora sy ny taranak’ i Merary.
These, were the courses of the door-keepers, of the sons of the Korahites, and of the sons of Merari.
20 Ary tamin’ ny Levita dia Ahia no tonian’ ny rakitry ny tranon’ Andriamanitra sy ny zavatra nohamasinina ho rakitra.
And, the Levites, their brethren, were over the treasuries of the house of God, even to the treasuries of hallowed things.
21 Ny taranak’ i Ladana, ilay Ladana Gersonita, ireo lohan’ ny fianakavian’ i Ladana Gersonita, dia ny Jehielita.
The sons of Ladan—the sons of the Gershonites belonging to Ladan—the ancestral chiefs belonging to Ladan the Gershonite, were Jehieli;
22 Ary ny taranaky ny Jehielita, dia Zetama sy Joela rahalahiny, no tonian’ ny rakitry ny tranon’ i Jehovah.
the sons of Jehieli, Zetham and Joel his brother who were over the treasuries of the house of Yahweh.
23 Tamin’ ny Amramita sy ny Jizarita sy ny Hebronita ary ny Ozielita
Then came certain of the Amramites, of the Izharites, of the Hebronites, of the Uzzielites.
24 dia Seboela, avy tamin’ ny taranak’ i Gersona, zanak’ i Mosesy, no tonian’ ny rakitra.
And, Shebuel, son of Gershom, son of Moses, was chief ruler over the treasuries.
25 Ary ny rahalahiny avy tamin’ i Eliezera dia Rehabia, zanak’ i Eliezera, sy Jesaia, zanak’ i Rehabia, sy Jorama, zanak’ i Jesaia, sy Zikry, zanak’ i Jorama, ary Selomota, zanak’ i Zikry.
And, his brethren pertaining to Eliezer, were Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomoth his son.
26 Io Selomota io sy ny rahalahiny no tonian’ ny zavatra nohamasinina ho rakitra, dia Izay nohamasinin’ i Davida mpanjaka sy ny lohan’ ny fianakaviana ary ny mpifehy arivo sy ny mpifehy zato ary ny komandin’ ny miaramila.
The same Shelomoth and his brethren, were over all the treasuries of the hallowed things, which David the king and the ancestral chiefs, with the captains of thousands and hundreds and the captains of the army, had hallowed:
27 Tamin’ ny babo izay azony tamin’ ny ady nisy nohamasininy ho enti-manamboatra ny tranon’ i Jehovah.
out of the battles and out of the spoil, had they hallowed [them], —to strengthen [the provision] for the house of Yahweh.
28 Ary izay rehetra nohamasinin’ i Samoela mpahita sy Saoly, zanak’ i Kisy, sy Abnera, zanak’ i Nera, sy Joaba, zanak’ i Zeroia, dia izay rehetra nohamasininy, dia Selomota sy ny rahalahiny no nitahiry izany.
And, all that Samuel the seer, and Saul son of Kish, and Abner son of Ner, and Joab son of Zeruiah, had hallowed, whosoever had hallowed anything, it was under the direction of Shelomoth, and his brethren.
29 Tamin’ ny Jizarita dia Kenania sy ny zanany no voatendry ho amin’ ny raharaha ivelany amin’ ny Isiraely, dia ho mpifehy sy mpitsara.
Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons, were for the outward business over Israel, —as officers, and as judges.
30 Ary tamin’ ny Hebronita dia Hasabia sy ny rahalahiny, lehilahy mahay fiton-jato amby arivo, no mpifehy tamin’ ny Isiraely tany an-dafy andrefan’ i Jordana ny amin’ ny raharaha rehetra ho an’ i Jehovah sy ny fanompoana ny mpanjaka.
Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, sons of valour, one thousand seven hundred, had the oversight of Israel, across the Jordan westward, —for all the business of Yahweh, and for the service of the king.
31 Ny Hebronita dia Jeria lohany (tamin’ ny taona fahefa-polo nanjakan’ i Davida no nitadiavana ny Hebronita araka ny fianakaviany avy, ka nisy lehilahy mahay hita tao aminy tao Jazera any Gileada)
Of the Hebronites, Jerijah, was chief, [he was] of the Hebronites by his generations, by his fathers, —in the fortieth year of the reign of David, were they sought out, and there were found among them heroes of valour, in Jazer of Gilead;
32 sy ny rahalahiny fiton-jato amby roa arivo, samy lehilahy mahay, lohan’ ny fianakaviany avy. Ary Davida nanendry ireo ho mpifehy ny Robenita sy ny Gadita ary ny antsasaky firenen’ i Manase, ny amin’ ny raharahan’ Andriamanitra sy ny mpanjaka.
and, his brethren that were heroes of valour, were two thousand and seven hundred, ancestral chiefs, —so David the king gave them oversight, over the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half tribe of Manassites, in all the affairs of God, and the affairs of the king.
