And David and the captains of the host separated for the service those of the sons of Asaph and of Heman and of Jeduthun who were to prophesy with harps and lutes and cymbals; and the number of the men employed according to their service was:

of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah, the sons of Asaph under the direction of Asaph, who prophesied at the direction of the king.
3 Tamin’ i Jedotona, ny zanany dia Gedalia sy Zery sy Jesaia sy Hasabia ary Matitia, enin-dahy ireo ka nofehezin’ i Jedotona rainy, izay naminany tamin’ ny lokanga hidera sy hisaotra an’ i Jehovah.
Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Isaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, [and Shimei] six, under the direction of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with the harp, to give thanks and to praise Jehovah.
4 Tamin’ i Hemana, ny zanany dia Bokia, Matania, Oziela, Seboela sy Jerimota, Hanania, Hanany, Eliata, Gidalty sy Romamti-ezera sy Josbekasa sy Maloty sy Hotira ary Mahaziota.
Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkijah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth:
5 Ireo rehetra ireo no zanak’ i Hemana, mpahitan’ ny mpanjaka ny amin’ ny tenin’ Andriamanitra, hanandratra ny tandroka. Ary Hemana dia efa nomen’ Andriamanitra zazalahy efatra ambin’ ny folo sy zazavavy telo.
all these were sons of Heman the king's seer in the words of God, to exalt his power; and God had given to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
6 Ireo rehetra ireo no fehin’ ny rainy tamin’ ny hira natao tao an-tranon’ i Jehovah tamin’ ny kipantsona sy ny valiha sy ny lokanga hanaovana ny fanompoana ao an-tranon’ Andriamanitra; Asafa sy Jedotona ary Hemana dia nofezehin’ ny mpanjaka.
All these were under the direction of their fathers Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman, for song in the house of Jehovah, with cymbals, lutes and harps, for the service of the house of God, under the direction of the king.
7 Ary ny isany mbamin’ ny rahalahiny, izay efa nianatra ny hira ho an’ i Jehovah izay rehetra nahay dia valo amby valo-polo amby roan-jato.
And the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of Jehovah, all of them skilful, was two hundred and eighty-eight.
8 Ary nanao filokana ny amin’ ny anjara-raharahany avy izy, na ny kely na ny lehibe, na ny mpampianatra na ny mpianatra.
And they cast lots with one another over the charges, the small as well as the great, the teacher with the scholar.

And the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph; to Gedaliah the second: he and his brethren and his sons were twelve.

The third to Zaccur; his sons and his brethren, twelve.

The fourth to Jizri; his sons and his brethren, twelve.
12 ny fahadimy an’ i Netania, izy mbamin’ ny zanany sy ny rahalahiny, dia roa ambin’ ny folo;
The fifth to Nethaniah; his sons and his brethren, twelve.
13 ny fahenina an’ i Bokia, izy mbamin’ ny zanany sy ny rahalahiny, dia roa ambin’ ny folo;
The sixth to Bukkijah; his sons and his brethren, twelve.
14 ny fahafito an’ i Jesarela, izy mbamin’ ny zanany sy ny rahalahiny, dia roa ambin’ ny folo;
The seventh to Jesharelah; his sons and his brethren, twelve.
15 ny fahavalo an’ i Jesaia, izy mbamin’ ny zanany sy ny rahalahiny, dia roa ambin’ ny folo;
The eighth to Isaiah; his sons and his brethren, twelve.
16 ny fahasivy an’ i Matania, izy mbamin’ ny zanany sy ny rahalahiny, dia roa ambin’ ny folo;
The ninth to Mattaniah; his sons and his brethren, twelve.
17 ny fahafolo an’ i Simey, izy mbamin’ ny zanany sy ny rahalahiny, dia roa ambin’ ny folo;
The tenth to Shimei; his sons and his brethren, twelve.
18 ny fahiraika ambin’ ny folo an’ i Azarela, izy mbamin’ ny zanany sy ny rahalahiny, dia roa ambin’ ny folo;
The eleventh to Azareel; his sons and his brethren, twelve.

The twelfth to Hashabiah; his sons and his brethren, twelve.

The thirteenth to Shubael; his sons and his brethren, twelve.

The fourteenth to Mattithiah; his sons and his brethren, twelve.

The sixteenth to Hananiah; his sons and his brethren, twelve.

The seventeenth to Joshbekashah; his sons and his brethren, twelve.

The eighteenth to Hanani; his sons and his brethren, twelve.
26 ny fahasivy ambin’ ny folo an’ i Maloty, izy mbamin’ ny zanany sy ny rahalahiny, dia roa ambin’ ny folo;
The nineteenth to Mallothi; his sons and his brethren, twelve.
27 ny faharoa-polo an’ i Eliata, izy mbamin’ ny zanany sy ny rahalahiny, dia roa ambin’ ny folo;
The twentieth to Elijathah; his sons and his brethren, twelve.
28 ny fahiraika amby roa-polo an’ i Hotira, izy mbamin’ ny zanany sy ny rahalahiny, dia roa ambin’ ny folo;
The twenty-first to Hothir; his sons and his brethren, twelve.
29 ny faharoa amby roa-polo an’ i Gidalty, izy mbamin’ ny zanany sy ny rahalahiny, dia roa ambin’ ny folo;
The twenty-second to Giddalti; his sons and his brethren, twelve.

The twenty-third to Mahazioth; his sons and his brethren, twelve.
