1 ओ प्यारे साथी विश्वासियो! तुसा बीचा ते बऊत मण्डल़िया रे उपदेशक नि बणो, कऊँकि तुसे जाणोए कि आसे उपदेशक ओर बी दोषी ठईरने।

2 आसे सब कई बार चूकी जाऊँए, पर जो कोई बोलणे रे नि चूकदा, सेई तो सिद्ध मांणू ए और से आपणे सारे शरीरो खे वशो रे करी सकोआ।

4 देखो जाह्ज बी हालाँकि इतणे बड़े ओए, और तेज अवा रे चलाए जाओए, तेबे बी एक छोटी जी पतवारा रे जरिए मांझियो री इच्छा रे मुताबिक कुमाए जाओए।

5 तिंयाँ ई जीब बी शरीरो रा एक छोटा जा अंग ए और बड़ी-बड़ी त्वाल़िया मारोई। देखो थोड़ी जी आगी साथे कितणे बड़े बणो रे आग लगी जाओई।

7 हर प्रकारा रे बणो रे डांगर, पंछी, रेंगणे वाल़े जन्तु और पाणिए रे रणे वाल़े तो मांणूआ रे वशो रे ऊई सकोए और ऊई बी गये रे।
All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and creatures of the sea are being tamed and have been tamed by man,
8 पर जीबा खे मांणूआ बीचा ते कोई बी वशो रे नि करी सकदा, से एक एड़ी बयाद ए, जो कदी बी रूकदी नि, से जान लणे वाल़े सापो जेड़े विषे की फरी रिये।
but no man can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.
9 इजी जीबा साथे आसे प्रभु और पिते री स्तुति करूँए और इजी साथे मांणूआ खे जो परमेशरो रे रूपो रे बणाई राखे, स्राप देऊँए।
With the tongue we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God’s likeness.
10 एक ई मुंओ ते धन्यवाद और स्राप दोनो निकल़ोए। ओ प्यारे साथी विश्वासियो! एड़ा नि ऊणा चाईयो।
Out of the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, this should not be!
11 क्या सूबल़ा रे एकी ई मुंओ ते मीठा और खारा दोनो पाणी निकल़ोए?
Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring?
12 ओ प्यारे साथी विश्वासियो! क्या दाऊगल़े रे डाल़ो रे जैतून या अँगूरा री बेला रे दाऊगल़े लगी सकोए? तिंयाँ ई खारी सूबल़ा ते मीठा पाणी नि निकल़ी सकदा।
My brothers, can a fig tree grow olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.
13 तुसा बीचा ते ज्ञानी और समजदार कूणे? जो मांणू एड़ा ए, से आपणे कामो खे खरे चाल-चलणो ते तेसा नरमाईया साथे सामणे ल्याओ, जो ज्ञानो ते पैदा ओई।
Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good conduct, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.
14 पर तुसे आपणे-आपणे मनो रे कऊड़ी जल़न और स्वार्थ राखोए, तो सच्चो रे बिरोदो रे कमण्ड नि करना और ना ई चूठ बोलणा।
But if you harbor bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast in it or deny the truth.
15 ये ज्ञान से निए, जो स्वर्गो ते उतरोआ, बल्कि संसारिक, शारीरिक और शैतानी ए।
Such wisdom does not come from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.
16 इजी री खातर जेती जल़न और स्वार्थ ओआ, तेती बखेड़ा और हर प्रकारा रे बुरे काम ओए।
For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every evil practice.
17 पर जो ज्ञान स्वर्गो ते आओआ, से पईले तो पवित्र ओआ, तेबे मिलणसार, नरम, खरे बिचार, दया और खरे फल़े की परे रा और पक्षपात और कपटो ते बिना ओआ
But the wisdom from above is first of all pure, then peace-loving, gentle, accommodating, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and sincere.
18 और जो लोक मेल-जोल कराणे वाल़े ए तिना शान्तिया रा बीज बोणा और धार्मिकता री फसल बाडणी।
Peacemakers who sow in peace reap the fruit of righteousness.
