< Zekkaliya 11 >

1 Ggulawo enzigi zo ggwe Lebanooni, omuliro gwokye emivule gyo.
Open thy doors, O Lebanon, and the fire shall eat on thy cedars.
2 Kaaba ggwe omuberosi, kubanga emivule gigudde! Emiti emirungi ennyo gyonoonese. Mukube ebiwoobe mmwe emyera gya Basani, kubanga ekibira ekikwafu kigudde.
Wail, fir-tree; for fallen is the cedar; those that were mighty are despoiled: wail, O ye oaks of Bashan; for the impervious forest is come down.
3 Wuliriza ebiwoobe by’abasumba, amalundiro gaabwe amalungi gazikirizibbwa. Wuliriza okuwuluguma kw’empologoma. Omuddo omulungi oguli ku Yoludaani guzikirizibbwa.
[There is] the noise of the wailing of the shepherds; for wasted is their glory: [there is] the noise of the roaring of young lions; for wasted is the pride of the Jordan.
4 Bw’ati bw’ayogera Mukama Katonda wange nti, “Lunda endiga zigejje ezinaatwalibwa okuttibwa.
Thus hath said the Lord my God, Feed the flocks [that are destined for] the slaughter;
5 Abo abazigula bazitta ne batabaako musango. N’abo abazitunda ne bagamba nti, ‘Mukama atenderezebwe ngaggawadde!’ Abasumba baazo bennyini tebazikwatirwa kisa.
Whom their buyers slay, and hold themselves guiltless; and whose sellers say, Blessed be the Lord, for I am rich: and none of whose shepherds have pity on them.
6 Kubanga sikyaddayo kukwatirwa bantu ba nsi eno kisa,” bw’ayogera Mukama. “Ndiwaayo buli muntu okugwa mu mikono gya muliraanwa we, ne mu mikono gya kabaka we. Nabo balijooga ensi era sirigiwonya kuva mu mikono gwabwe.”
For I will no more have pity on the inhabitants of the land, saith the Lord: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into the hand of his neighbor, and into the hand of his king: and they shall beat down the land, and I will not deliver out of their hand.
7 Awo ne nunda ekisibo ekyateekebwateekebwa okuttibwa, okusingira ddala ezaali zijoogebwa. Ne ntwala emiggo gy’abasumba ebiri, ogumu ne ngutuuma erinnya Kisa, omulala ne ngutuuma Kwegatta era ne ndiisa endiga.
And I had fed the flocks [that were destined for] the slaughter, —indeed, the poorest of the flocks; and I had taken unto me two staves; the one I called Mildness [[No'am]], and the other I called Concord [[Choblim]]: and I fed the flocks.
8 Mu mwezi gumu ne neegobako abasumba basatu, emmeeme yange ng’ebakyaye era nabo nga bankyaye.
And I removed the three shepherds in one month; and my soul was tired of them, and also their soul abhorred me.
9 Awo ne ndyoka ŋŋamba nti, “Siibeere musumba wammwe, ekinaafa leka kife, ekyokwonooneka kyonooneke, era leka ebyo ebisigaddewo biryaŋŋane, buli kimu kirye kinnaakyo.”
Then said I, I will not feed you: what is dying may die; and what is to be lost may be lost; and those that are left may eat every one the flesh of the other.
10 Ne ndyoka nkwata omuggo gwange Kisa ne ngumenya, ne mmenya endagaano gye nnali nkoze n’abantu bonna.
And I took my staff, namely, Mildness, and cut it to pieces, to annul my covenant which I had made with all the tribes.
11 Endagaano n’agikomya ku lunaku olwo era abasuubuzi b’endiga abaali bandaba ne bamanya nti ekyo kyali kigambo kya Katonda.
And when it was annulled on that day, then knew they well, truly the poorest of the flocks that waited for me, that it was the word of the Lord.
12 Ne ndyoka mbagamba nti, “Bwe kiba nga kisaanidde mu maaso gammwe mumpe empeera yange; naye obanga temusiimye mulekeeyo.” Awo ne bambalira ensimbi eza ffeeza amakumi asatu.
And I said unto them, If it be good in your eyes, give me my reward; and if not, forbear. So they weighed out as my reward thirty pieces of silver.
13 Awo Mukama n’aŋŋamba nti, “Zisuulire omubumbi,” omuwendo guno ogw’ekitalo gwe bansasula! Kale ne ntwala ensimbi amakumi asatu eza ffeeza ne nzisuulira omubumbi mu nnyumba ya Mukama.
And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the treasurer, the precious price which I am prized at by them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them in the house of the Lord unto the treasurer.
14 Awo ne mmenya omuggo gwange ogwokubiri Kwegatta, okulaga nti obumu obwali wakati wa Yuda ne Isirayiri bwali bukomye.
Then I cut in pieces my second staff, namely, Concord, to annul the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
15 Mukama n’alyoka aŋŋamba nti, “Twala nate ebintu eby’omusumba omusirusiru bye yandikozesezza.
And the Lord said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.
16 Kubanga laba, nze nyimusizza omusumba mu nsi atafaayo ku ndiga ezizikirira era atanoonya zisaasaanye, era atayunga zimenyese wadde okuliisa ennamu, naye alya ensolo ensava ng’aziyuzaako ebinuulo.
For, lo, I raise up a shepherd in the land, who will not think of those that are lost, nor seek for that which is gone astray, nor heal that which hath [a limb] broken; who will not care for that which hath stood still; but who will eat the flesh of the fat, and devour all even to their claws.
17 “‘Zimusanze omusumba wange ataliiko ky’agasa agayaalirira ekisibo! Ekitala kifumite omukono gwe ogwa ddyo, kiggyemu n’eriiso lye erya ddyo! Omukono gwe gukalire ddala, n’eriiso lye erya ddyo lizibire ddala!’”
Woe to the worthless shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall utterly wither, and his right eye shall be completely blinded.
