1 Awo ne ndaba Omwana gw’Endiga ng’abembulula akamu ku bubonero bw’envumbo; ne mpulira ekimu ku biramu ebina nga kyogera n’eddoboozi eryawulikika ng’okubwatuka nga kigamba nti, “Jjangu!”
Then I saw the Lamb open one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, “Come and see.”
2 Ne ndaba, era laba, embalaasi enjeru, ng’agyebagadde alina omutego ogulasa akasaale; n’aweebwa engule n’agenda ng’awangula, n’awangulira ddala.
And behold, there was a white horse! Its rider had a bow, and he was given a crown and went out conquering and to conquer.
3 Bwe yabembulula akabonero k’envumbo akookubiri, ne mpulira ekiramu ekyokubiri nga kyogera nti, “Jjangu!”
When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come.”
4 Ne wavaayo embalaasi endala nga myufu, eyali agyebagadde n’aweebwa ekitala ekiwanvu, n’aweebwa n’obuyinza okuggyawo emirembe ku nsi, n’okuleeta entalo wakati w’abantu, battiŋŋane bokka na bokka.
Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that people would slay one another, and he was given a great sword.
5 Bwe yabembulula akabonero k’envumbo akokusatu ne mpulira ekiramu ekyokusatu nga kyogera nti, “Jjangu!” Era laba, ne ndaba embalaasi enzirugavu n’eyali agyebagadde ng’akutte minzaani mu mukono gwe.
When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” And behold, there was a black horse! Its rider had a balance scale in his hand.
6 Ne mpulira eddoboozi eryawulikika ng’eriva wakati w’ebiramu ebina nga ligamba nti, “Omugaati gumu gugula ddinaali, ne kilo y’obuwunga bwa sayiri nayo bw’eba egula, kyokka omuzigo n’envinnyo tobyonoona.”
Then I heard a voice from among the four living creatures saying, “A measure of wheat for a denarius, and three measures of barley for a denarius, and do not damage the oil and wine.”
7 Bwe yabembulula akabonero k’envumbo akookuna ne mpulira ekiramu ekyokuna nga kyogera nti, “Jjangu!”
When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the fourth living creature say, “Come and see.”
8 Ne ndaba, era laba, embalaasi ey’erangi ensiiwuukirivu n’eyali agyebagadde ng’ayitibwa Walumbe, ne Magombe n’agenda naye. Ne baweebwa okufuga ekitundu ekyokuna eky’ensi, okutta n’ekitala, n’enjala, n’olumbe, n’ensolo enkambwe ez’oku nsi. (Hadēs g86)
And behold, there was a pale green horse! The name of its rider was Death, and Hades followed him. He was given authority over a fourth of the earth to kill by the sword, by famine and pestilence, and by the wild beasts of the earth. (Hadēs g86)
9 Bwe yabembulula akabonero k’envumbo akookutaano ne ndaba wansi w’ekyoto emyoyo egy’abo abattibwa olw’okubuulira ekigambo kya Katonda n’olw’okuba abeesigwa mu bujulizi bwabwe.
When the Lamb opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and because of the testimony of the Lamb which they had upheld.
10 Ne bakaabirira Mukama n’eddoboozi ery’omwanguka nga bagamba nti, “Ayi Mukama, Omutukuvu era ow’amazima, onoosalira ddi abantu b’ensi omusango, n’owoolera eggwanga olw’omusaayi gwaffe?”
They cried out with a loud voice, “How long, O Master, Holy and True, will yoʋ not judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”
11 Buli omu ku bo n’aweebwa ekyambalo ekyeru, era ne bagambibwa okugira nga bawummulako okutuusa baganda baabwe abalala era baweereza bannaabwe aba Yesu abaali bagenda okuttibwa, lwe balibeegattako.
They were each given a white robe and told to rest a while longer, until their fellow servants and their brothers, who were about to be killed just as they had been, should complete their course.
12 Awo ne ndaba ng’abembulula akabonero k’envumbo ak’omukaaga; ne wabaawo musisi ow’amaanyi ennyo, era enjuba n’eddugala n’efuuka nzirugavu ng’ekibukutu ekyakolebwa mu bwoya, n’omwezi gwonna ne gumyuka ng’omusaayi.
Then I watched as the Lamb opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake. The sun became as black as sackcloth made of goat hair, the entire moon became like blood,
13 Awo emmunyeenye ez’omu ggulu ne zigwa ku nsi ng’omutiini bwe gukunkumula emitiini egitanayengera olwa kibuyaga ow’amaanyi,
and the stars of the sky fell to the earth like a fig tree dropping its unripe figs when it is shaken by a strong wind.
14 n’eggulu ne lyezingako ng’omuzingo gw’ekitabo bwe gwezingazinga na buli lusozi na buli kizinga ne biggibwawo mu bifo byabyo.
The sky was split apart like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.
15 Bakabaka b’ensi, n’abafuzi ab’oku ntikko n’abantu abagagga, n’abakulu b’amaggye n’ab’amaanyi, na buli muddu n’ow’eddembe, ne beekweka mu mpuku ne mu njazi z’ensozi.
Then the kings of the earth, the magnates, the commanders, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and free man hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains.
16 Ne bagamba ensozi nti, “Mutugweko mutukweke mu maaso g’Oyo atudde ku ntebe ey’obwakabaka, ne mu busungu bw’Omwana gw’Endiga.
And they said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb,
17 Kubanga olunaku olukulu olw’obusungu bwabwe lutuuse era ani ayinza okugumira obusungu bwabwe!”
for the great day of his wrath has come, and who can withstand it?”
