1 Awo ne mpulira eddoboozi ery’omwanguka okuva mu Yeekaalu nga ligamba bamalayika omusanvu nti, “Mugende muyiwe ku nsi ebibya omusanvu ebirimu ekiruyi kya Katonda.”
Then I heard a loud voice coming from the Temple telling the seven angels, “Go and pour out the seven bowls of God's judgment on the earth.”
2 Malayika eyasooka n’ava mu Yeekaalu n’ayiwa ekibya kye ku nsi. Awo amabwa amazibu ne gajja ne gakwata buli muntu eyalina akabonero k’ekisolo na buli eyasinzanga ekifaananyi kyakyo.
So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and terrible, painful sores broke out on those who had the mark of the beast and who worshiped his image.
3 Malayika owookubiri n’ayiwa ekibya kye ku nnyanja, amazzi ne gafuuka ng’omusaayi gw’omuntu amaze ekiseera ekitono ng’afudde. Ebiramu byonna ebyali mu nnyanja ne bifa.
The second poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became like the blood of a corpse and everything living in the sea died.
4 Malayika owookusatu n’ayiwa ekibya kye ku migga ne ku nsulo z’amazzi, byonna ne bifuuka ng’omusaayi.
The third poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and the water turned into blood.
5 Ne mpulira malayika eyakola ku mazzi ng’ayogera nti, “Oli mutuukirivu, Ayi ggwe Omutukuvu, aliwo era eyaliwo, kubanga bw’otyo bwe wasala omusango.
I heard the angel who had power over the waters declare, “You are truly right, you who are and was, the Holy One, as this judgment demonstrates.
6 Olw’okubanga baayiwa omusaayi gw’abatukuvu ne bannabbi, ogwo gwe musaayi gw’obawadde okunywa.”
These people shed the blood of believers. Now you've given them blood to drink, as they deserve!”
7 Awo ne mpulira ekyoto ng’akyogera nti, “Weewaawo Mukama Katonda Ayinzabyonna, ensala yo ya bwenkanya era ya mazima.”
I heard a voice from the altar saying, “Yes, Lord God, the All-powerful One, your judgments are right and true!”
8 Awo malayika owookuna n’ayiwa ekibya kye ku njuba, n’evaamu omuliro ne gwokya abantu.
The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given the power to scorch people with fire.
9 Abantu ne bookebwa omuliro ogwagivaamu ne bavvoola erinnya lya Katonda Omuyinza w’ebibonyoobonyo ebyo, ne bateenenya okukyuka okuliwa ekitiibwa.
They were scorched by intense heat, and they cursed the name of God who controlled these plagues. They did not repent and give him glory.
10 Awo malayika owookutaano n’ayiwa ekibya kye ku ntebe ey’obufuzi bw’ekisolo, obwakabaka bwakyo ne bujjula ekizikiza. N’abo be kifuga nabo obulumi ne bubalumya obujiji,
The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the beast's throne, and darkness fell over his kingdom. The people bit their tongues because of the pain they felt,
11 ne bavvoola Katonda ow’eggulu olw’obulumi bwe baalimu, n’amabwa agaali gabaluma, naye ne bateenenya bikolwa byabwe ebibi.
and they cursed the God of heaven because of their pain and their sores, but they did not repent and stop what they were doing.
12 Awo malayika ow’omukaaga n’ayiwa ekibya kye ku mugga omunene Fulaati ne gukalira, bakabaka ab’ebuvanjuba basobole okuyisaawo amaggye gaabwe.
The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the mighty River Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that a way could be prepared for the kings that come from the east.
13 Ne ndaba emyoyo egitali mirongoofu esatu nga gifaanana ng’ebikere nga giva mu kamwa k’ogusota, n’ak’ekisolo, n’aka nnabbi ow’obulimba.
Then I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs coming out of the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet.
14 Abo be baddayimooni abakozi b’ebyamagero abateesa n’abafuzi bonna ab’oku nsi okukuŋŋaana okulwana ne Katonda Ayinzabyonna ku lunaku olw’olutalo.
These are demonic spirits that perform miracles, going out to gather together all the kings of the whole world for the battle on God the All-powerful One's great day of judgment.
15 “Laba, nzija ng’omubbi! Alina omukisa oyo alindirira n’akuuma ekyambalo kye nga kiyonjo, era taliyita bwereere, si kulwa ng’aswala.”
(Pay attention! I will come like a thief. Blessed are those who keep watch, and have their clothes ready so that they don't have to go out naked and be embarrassed.)
16 Emyoyo egyo ne gibakuŋŋaanyiza mu kifo ekiyitibwa Magedoni mu Lwebbulaniya.
The evil spirits gathered the kings for battle at a place called Armageddon in Hebrew.
17 Awo malayika ow’omusanvu n’ayiwa ebyali mu kibya kye mu bbanga. Eddoboozi ery’omwanguka ne liva mu Yeekaalu mu ntebe y’obwakabaka nga lyogera nti, “Kiwedde.”
The seventh angel poured out his bowl on the air, and a loud voice came from the Temple, from the throne, shouting out, “It's over!”
18 Awo ne walabika okumyansa kw’eggulu n’okubwatuka ne musisi ow’entiisa atabangawo ku nsi.
Lightning flashed and thunder boomed, and a massive earthquake shook the earth. It was the worst earthquake that had ever happened since people lived there.
19 Ekibuga Babulooni ekikulu ne kyeyubuluzaamu ebitundu bisatu, n’ebibuga by’amawanga ne bigwa. Awo Babulooni ekikulu ne kijjukirwa mu maaso ga Katonda, era ne kiweebwa ekikompe ky’envinnyo eky’obukambwe bw’ekiruyi kya Katonda.
The great city was split into three. The cities of the nations were destroyed. Babylon the great was remembered in God's presence so that she should be given the cup filled with the wine of his hostility.
20 Buli kizinga ne kidduka era tewaali lusozi na lumu olwalabikako.
All the islands vanished, and all the mountains disappeared.
21 N’omuzira ogw’amaanyi ne gugwa okuva mu ggulu, buli mpeke ng’obuzito bwayo buwera nga kilo amakumi ataano malamba ne gukuba abantu. Abantu ne bakolimira Katonda olw’ekibonyoobonyo ekyo eky’okukubibwa omuzira ogw’amaanyi era omuzito bwe gutyo.
Huge hailstones, each one weighing one hundred pounds, rained down from the sky on people. The people cursed God because the plague of hail was so terrible.
