1 Ne mpeebwa olumuli oluli ng’omuggo okupima ne ŋŋambibwa nti, “Golokoka opime Yeekaalu ya Katonda n’ekyoto n’abo abasinziza mu Yeekaalu.
Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff and was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the number of worshipers there.
2 Naye oluggya olw’ebweru lwo tolupima kubanga luweereddwayo eri amawanga, era balirinnyirira ekibuga ekitukuvu okumala emyezi amakumi ana mu ebiri.
But exclude the courtyard outside the temple. Do not measure it, because it has been given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for 42 months.
3 Era ndiwa abajulirwa bange ababiri nga bambadde ebibukutu ne bawa obunnabbi okumala ennaku lukumi mu bibiri mu nkaaga.”
And I will empower my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”
4 Abajulirwa abo ababiri gy’emiti emizeeyituuni ebiri era ebikondo by’ettaala ebibiri, abayimirira mu maaso ga Mukama ow’ensi yonna.
These witnesses are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.
5 Omuntu yenna agezaako okubakolako akabi azikirizibwe n’omuliro oguva mu kamwa kaabwe, ne gwokya abalabe baabwe; era omuntu yenna bw’ayagala okubakolako akabi, bwe kityo kigwana ye okuttibwa.
If anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouths and devours their enemies. In this way, anyone who wants to harm them must be killed.
6 Balina obuyinza okuggalawo eggulu enkuba n’etetonnya mu nnaku ez’obunnabbi bwabwe, era balina n’obuyinza okufuula amazzi omusaayi n’okuleeta buli kubonaabona kwonna ku nsi buli lwe banaabanga baagadde.
These witnesses have power to shut the sky so that no rain will fall during the days of their prophecy, and power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they wish.
7 Bwe balimala okuwa obujulirwa bwabwe, ensolo enkambwe eva mu bunnya obutakoma erirangirira olutalo ebalwanyise, era ebatte n’okubawangula ebawangule. (Abyssos g12)
When the two witnesses have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will wage war with them, and will overpower and kill them. (Abyssos g12)
8 Emirambo gyabwe girisigala mu nguudo z’ekibuga ekinene, Mukama waabwe mwe yakomererwa ku musaalaba; ekibuga ekiyitibwa “Sodomu” mu mwoyo oba ensi eya “Misiri” mu mwoyo
Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city—figuratively called Sodom and Egypt—where their Lord was also crucified.
9 Era okumala ennaku ssatu n’ekitundu emirambo gyabwe girirabibwa abantu abamu n’ebika, n’ennimi, n’amawanga mu nguudo z’ekibuga. Tewali n’omu alikkirizibwa kubaziika.
For three and a half days all peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will view their bodies and will not permit them to be laid in a tomb.
10 Era walibaawo okusanyuka ku nsi, abantu bonna nga bajaguza n’okuweerezagana ebirabo, n’okwekulisa bannabbi abo ababiri abaliba bafudde abaali bababonyaabonya ennyo.
And those who dwell on the earth will gloat over them, and will celebrate and send one another gifts, because these two prophets had tormented them.
11 Naye oluvannyuma lw’ennaku essatu n’ekitundu omwoyo gw’obulamu oguva eri Katonda ne gubayingiramu ne bayimirira. Awo okutya kungi ne kujjira buli muntu yenna eyabalaba.
But after the three and a half days, the breath of life from God entered the two witnesses, and they stood on their feet, and great fear fell upon those who saw them.
12 Awo ne bawulira eddoboozi ery’omwanguka okuva mu ggulu nga ligamba nti, “Mulinnye mujje wano.” Ne balinnya mu kire okugenda mu ggulu ng’abalabe baabwe babalaba.
And the witnesses heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud as their enemies watched them.
13 Mu ssaawa eyo y’emu ne wabaawo musisi eyasuula ekitundu ekimu eky’ekkumi eky’ekibuga, era abantu kasanvu ne bafa. Abaawona baatya nnyo era ne bagulumiza Katonda ow’eggulu.
And in that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand were killed in the quake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14 Eky’entiisa ekyokubiri ne kiyita, naye ekyokusatu kijja mangu.
The second woe has passed. Behold, the third woe is coming shortly.
15 Awo malayika ow’omusanvu n’afuuwa ekkondeere lye, ne wabaawo oluyoogaano olunene ennyo mu ggulu nga lugamba nti, “Obwakabaka bw’ensi eno kati bufuuse bwa Mukama waffe ne Kristo we, era anaafuganga emirembe n’emirembe.” (aiōn g165)
Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and loud voices called out in heaven: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever.” (aiōn g165)
16 Awo abakadde amakumi abiri mu abana abaali batudde ku ntebe zaabwe ne bavuunama mu maaso ga Katonda ne bamusinza
And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God,
17 nga bagamba nti, “Tukwebaza, ayi Mukama Katonda Ayinzabyonna, ggwe aliwo kati era eyaliwo, kubanga weddizza obuyinza bwo obungi ennyo, Era ofuga.
saying: “We give thanks to You, O Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign.
18 Amawanga gaakunyiigira, naye kaakano naawe ky’ekiseera kyo okubayiwako ekiruyi kyo era ky’ekiseera okusalira abo abaafa omusango, n’okuwa empeera abaweereza bo bannabbi, n’abatukuvu bo, n’abo abatya erinnya lyo abakulu n’abato, n’okuzikiriza abo abaaleeta okuzikirira ku nsi.”
The nations were enraged, and Your wrath has come. The time has come to judge the dead and to reward Your servants the prophets, as well as the saints and those who fear Your name, both small and great— and to destroy those who destroy the earth.”
19 Awo Yeekaalu ya Katonda ey’omu ggulu n’eggulwawo, n’essanduuko ey’endagaano n’erabika mu Yeekaalu ye. Ne wabaawo okumyansa n’okubwatuka kw’eggulu n’omuzira omungi ogw’amaanyi era ensi yonna n’ekankanyizibwa musisi ow’amaanyi ennyo.
Then the temple of God in heaven was opened, and the ark of His covenant appeared in His temple. And there were flashes of lightning, and rumblings, and peals of thunder, and an earthquake, and a great hailstorm.
