< Zabbuli 77 >

1 Ya Mukulu wa Bayimbi. Zabbuli ya Asafu. Nnaakaabirira Katonda ambeere, ddala nnaakaabirira Katonda nga musaba ampulire.
For the Chief Musician. To Jeduthun. A Psalm by Asaph. My cry goes to God! Indeed, I cry to God for help, and for him to listen to me.
2 Bwe nnali mu nnaku, nanoonya Mukama, ekiro kyonna ne ngolola emikono gyange obutakoowa; emmeeme yange neegaana okusanyusibwa.
In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord. My hand was stretched out in the night, and did not get tired. My soul refused to be comforted.
3 Nakujjukiranga, Ayi Katonda ne nsinda, ne nfumiitiriza emmeeme yange n’ezirika.
I remember God, and I groan. I complain, and my spirit is overwhelmed. (Selah)
4 Tewaŋŋanya kwebaka; natawaanyizibwa nnyo ne sisobola kwogera.
You hold my eyelids open. I am so troubled that I cannot speak.
5 Ne ndowooza ku biseera eby’edda, ne nzijukira emyaka egyayita.
I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.
6 Najjukiranga ennyimba zange ekiro, ne nfumiitiriza nga bwe neebuuza mu mutima gwange nti:
I remember my song in the night. I consider in my own heart; my spirit diligently inquires:
7 “Mukama anaatusuuliranga ddala ennaku zonna naataddayo kutulaga kisa kye?
“Will the Lord reject us forever? Will he be favorable no more?
8 Okwagala kwe okutaggwaawo kukomedde ddala? Kye yasuubiza kibulidde ddala emirembe n’emirembe?
Has his loving kindness vanished forever? Does his promise fail for generations?
9 Katonda yeerabidde ekisa kye? Asunguwalidde ddala ne yeggyako n’okusaasira kwe?”
Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he, in anger, withheld his compassion?” (Selah)
10 Awo ne ndowooza nti, “Ebyo bye mmanyi eby’emyaka emingi eby’omukono ogwa ddyo ogw’oyo Ali Waggulu Ennyo.”
Then I thought, “I will appeal to this: the years of the right hand of the Most High.”
11 Nnajjukiranga ebikolwa bya Mukama, weewaawo, nnajjukiranga ebyamagero byo eby’edda.
I will remember the LORD’s deeds; for I will remember your wonders of old.
12 Nnaafumiitirizanga ku bikolwa byo byonna eby’amaanyi; nnaalowoozanga ku byamagero byo byonna.
I will also meditate on all your work, and consider your doings.
13 Ekkubo lyo, Ayi Katonda, liri mu watukuvu. Tewali katonda yenkana Katonda waffe.
Your way, God, is in the sanctuary. What god is great like God?
14 Ggwe Katonda akola eby’amagero; era amaanyi go ogalaga mu mawanga.
You are the God who does wonders. You have made your strength known among the peoples.
15 Wanunula abantu bo n’omukono gwo, abazzukulu ba Yakobo ne Yusufu.
You have redeemed your people with your arm, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Selah)
16 Amazzi gaakulaba, Ayi Katonda; amazzi bwe gaakulaba ne gatya, n’obuziba ne bukankanira ddala.
The waters saw you, God. The waters saw you, and they writhed. The depths also convulsed.
17 Ebire byayiwa amazzi ne bivaamu n’okubwatuka, era n’obusaale bwo ne bubuna.
The clouds poured out water. The skies resounded with thunder. Your arrows also flashed around.
18 Eddoboozi lyo ery’okubwatuka lyawulirwa mu kikuŋŋunta okumyansa kwo ne kumulisa ensi. Ensi n’ekankana n’enyeenyezebwa.
The voice of your thunder was in the whirlwind. The lightnings lit up the world. The earth trembled and shook.
19 Ekkubo lyo lyali mu nnyanja; wayita mu mazzi amangi, naye ebigere mwe walinnya tebyalabika.
Your way was through the sea, your paths through the great waters. Your footsteps were not known.
20 Wakulembera abantu bo ng’ekisibo, nga bali mu mikono gya Musa ne Alooni.
You led your people like a flock, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
