Zabbuli 75
1 Ya Mukulu wa Bayimbi. Ku ddoboozi, “Tozikiriza.” Zabbuli ya Asafu. Oluyimba. Tukwebaza, Ayi Katonda. Tukwebaza, kubanga Erinnya lyo liri kumpi. Abantu boogera ku bikolwa byo eby’ekyewuunyo.
Unto the end, corrupt not, a psalm of a canticle for Asaph. We will praise thee, O God: we will praise, and we will call upon thy name. We will relate thy wondrous works:
2 Mukama Katonda oyogera nti, “Neerondera ekiseera kye neetegekera era nsala omusango gwa bwenkanya.
When I shall take a time, I will judge justices.
3 Kyokka newaakubadde ng’ensi eyuuguuma abantu ne beeraliikirira, naye nze nywezezza empagi zaayo.”
The earth is melted, and all that dwell therein: I have established the pillars thereof.
4 Nalabula ab’amalala bagaleke, n’ababi bakomye okuyimusa ejjembe lyabwe ng’ery’embogo.
I said to the wicked: Do not act wickedly: and to the sinners: Lift not up the horn.
5 Mukomye okuyimusa ejjembe lyammwe eri eggulu n’okwogera nga muduula.
Lift not up your horn on high: speak not iniquity against God.
6 Kubanga okugulumizibwa tekuva mu ddungu era n’obuyinza tebuva buvanjuba wadde obugwanjuba bw’ensi,
For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the desert hills:
7 wabula biva eri Katonda; era ye y’agulumiza omu ate n’atoowaza omulala.
For God is the judge. One he putteth down, and another he lifteth up:
8 Mukama akutte mu mukono gwe ekikompe eky’obusungu bwe ekijjudde omwenge ogutabuddwamu ebirungo era kijjudde ejjovu; akifuka, aboonoonyi bonna ku nsi ne bakinywa ne bakimaliramu ddala.
For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup of strong wine full of mixture. And he hath poured it out from this to that: but the dregs thereof are not emptied: all the sinners of the earth shall drink.
9 Naye nze nnaatendanga obulungi bwa Mukama; nnaatenderezanga Katonda wa Yakobo ennaku zonna.
But I will declare for ever: I will sing to the God of Jacob.
10 Mukama ayogera nti, Ababi ndibamalamu amaanyi, naye abatuukirivu nnaabongeranga amaanyi.
And I will break all the horns of sinners: but the horns of the just shall be exalted.
