< Zabbuli 65 >
1 Ya Mukulu wa Bayimbi. Oluyimba, Zabbuli ya Dawudi. Osaanira okutenderezebwanga, Ayi Katonda, ali mu Sayuuni; tunaatuukiririzanga obweyamo bwaffe gy’oli.
To the Chief Musician. A Melody of David—a song. Thine, are silence [and] praise, O God, in Zion, —And, to thee, shall be paid the vow.
2 Ayi ggwe awulira okusaba kw’abantu bo, abantu bonna banajjanga gy’oli olw’ebibi byabwe.
Thou hearer of prayer! Unto thee, shall all flesh come.
3 Ebibi byaffe bwe byatusukkirira, n’otutangiririra.
Iniquitous things, have been too strong for me, As for our transgressions, wilt, thou, by propitiation remove them.
4 Alina omukisa oyo gw’olonda n’omusembeza okumpi naawe, abeerenga mu mpya zo. Tunaamalibwanga ebirungi eby’omu nnyumba yo; eby’omu Yeekaalu yo entukuvu.
How happy the man thou shalt choose and bring near! He shall abide in thy courts, —We shall be satisfied with, The blessing of thy house, The holiness of thy temple.
5 Otwanukula n’ebikolwa byo eby’obutuukirivu eby’entiisa n’otulokola, Ayi Katonda ow’obulokozi bwaffe; ggwe ssuubi ly’abo abali mu nsi yonna n’abo bonna abali ewala mu nnyanja zonna,
By things reverend in righteousness, wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation, The confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of the sea far away;
6 ggwe, eyakola ensozi n’obuyinza bwo, n’ozinyweza n’amaanyi go,
Who setteth fast the mountains by his strength, Being girded with might;
7 ggwe, asirisa okusiikuuka kw’ennyanja, n’okkakkanya okwetabula kw’amayengo gaayo, era ggw’okkakkanya okwegugunga kw’amawanga.
Who stilleth, The noise of the seas, The noise of their rolling waves, and The tumult of races of men?
8 Abo bonna ababeera ewala balaba ne batya ebyewuunyo byo; ne bakuyimbira ennyimba ez’essanyu okuva ku makya okutuusa akawungeezi.
Yea the dwellers in the uttermost parts have feared at thy tokens, The goings forth of morning and evening, thou causest to shout for joy.
9 Ensi ogirabirira n’ogifukirira n’egimuka nnyo. Emigga gya Katonda gijjudde amazzi, okuwa abantu emmere ey’empeke, kubanga bw’otyo bwe wakiteekateeka.
Thou hast visited the earth, and made it abound, Abundantly, dost thou enrich it—The channel of God, is full of waters, Thou preparest their corn, Yea, thus, dost thou prepare it:
10 Otonnyesa enkuba mu nnimiro, n’ojjuza ebitaba byamu; n’ogonza ettaka, ebibala by’omu nsi n’obiwa omukisa.
The ridges thereof, drenching, Settling the furrows thereof, With myriad drops, dost thou soften it, The sprouting thereof, doth thou bless.
11 Ofundikira omwaka n’amakungula amangi, ebigaali ne bigenda nga byetisse ebibala nga bikubyeko.
Thou hast set a crown upon thy year of bounty, And, thy tracks, drop fatness;
12 Ebifo awali omuddo mu ddungu bijjula amazzi, n’obusozi ne bulabika bulungi nga bweyagala.
Fruitful are the pastures of the wilderness, And, with exultation, the hills do gird themselves.
13 Amalundiro gajjula ebisibo, n’ebiwonvu ne bijjula emmere ey’empeke. Ensi yonna eyimba mu ddoboozi ery’omwanguka ng’ejjudde essanyu.
Clothed are the pastures with flocks, The valleys also, cover themselves with corn, They shout for joy, yea they sing.
