< Zabbuli 46 >
1 Ya Mukulu wa Bayimbi: Zabbuli ya Batabani ba Koola. Katonda kye kiddukiro kyaffe, era ge maanyi gaffe; omubeezi ddala atabulawo mu kulaba ennaku.
[For the Chief Musician. By the sons of Korah. According to Alamoth.] God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Kyetunaavanga tulema okutya, ensi ne bw’eneeyuuguumanga, ensozi ne bwe zinaasiguulukukanga ne zigwa mu buziba bw’ennyanja;
Therefore we won't be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas;
3 amazzi g’ennyanja ne bwe ganaayiranga ne gabimba ejjovu ensozi ne zikankana olw’okwetabula kwago.
though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling. (Selah)
4 Waliwo omugga, emyala gyagwo gisanyusa ekibuga kya Katonda, kye kifo ekitukuvu ekya Katonda Ali Waggulu Ennyo.
There is a river, the streams of which make the city of God glad, the holy place of the tents of the Most High.
5 Tekirigwa kubanga Katonda mw’abeera. Katonda anaakirwaniriranga ng’obudde bunaatera okukya.
God is in her midst. She shall not be moved. God will help her at dawn.
6 Amawanga geetabula, obwakabaka bugwa; ayimusa eddoboozi lye ensi n’esaanuuka.
The nations raged. The kingdoms were moved. He lifted his voice, and the earth melted.
7 Mukama ow’Eggye ali naffe, Katonda wa Yakobo kye kigo kyaffe.
The LORD of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. (Selah)
8 Mujje, mulabe Mukama by’akola, mulabe nga bw’afaafaaganya ensi.
Come, see the LORD's works, what desolations he has made in the earth.
9 Y’akomya entalo mu nsi yonna; akutula emitego gy’obusaale, effumu alimenyaamenya; amagaali n’engabo abyokya omuliro.
He makes wars cease throughout the earth. He breaks the bow, and shatters the spear. He burns the chariots in the fire.
10 Musiriikirire mutegeere nga nze Katonda. Nnaagulumizibwanga mu mawanga. Nnaagulumizibwanga mu nsi.
"Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth."
11 Katonda ow’Eggye ali naffe; Katonda wa Yakobo kye kigo kyaffe.
The LORD of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. (Selah)
