< Zabbuli 35 >
1 Zabbuli ya Dawudi. Ayi Mukama, wakanya abo abampakanya, lwanyisa abo abannwanyisa.
[A Psalm] of David. Judge you, O Lord, them that injure me, fight against them that fight against me.
2 Golokoka okwate engabo, n’akagabo onziruukirire.
Take hold of shield and buckler, and arise for my help.
3 Galula effumu, abangigganya obazibire ekkubo; otegeeze omwoyo gwange nti, “Nze bulokozi bwo.”
Bring forth a sword, and stop [the way] against them that persecute me: say to my soul, I am your salvation.
4 Abo bonna abannoonya okunzita bajolongebwe era baswazibwe; abo abateesa okunsanyaawo bazzibweyo ennyuma babune emiwabo.
Let them that seek my soul be ashamed and confounded: let them that devise evils against me be turned back and put to shame.
5 Babe ng’ebisusunku ebifuumuulibwa empewo, malayika wa Mukama ng’abagoba.
Let them be as dust before the wind, and an angel of the Lord afflicting them.
6 Ekkubo lyabwe libe lya kizikiza era lijjule obuseerezi, ne malayika wa Mukama ng’abagoba.
Let their way be dark and slippery, and an angel of the Lord persecuting them.
7 Nga bwe bantega omutego nga siriiko kye mbakoze, ne bansimira n’ekinnya mu kkubo lyange awatali nsonga,
For without cause they have hid for me their destructive snare: without a cause they have reproached my soul.
8 bazikirizibwe nga tebategedde, n’omutego gwe banteze be baba bagugwamu, era bagwe ne mu kinnya kiri bazikirire.
Let a snare which they know not come upon them; and the gin which they hid take them; and let them fall into the very same snare.
9 Omwoyo gwange ne gulyoka gujaguliza mu Mukama, ne gusanyukira mu bulokozi bwe.
But my soul shall exult in the Lord: it shall delight in his salvation.
10 Amagumba gange galyogera nti, “Ani afaanana nga ggwe, Ayi Mukama? Kubanga abaavu obadduukirira n’obawonya ababasinza amaanyi, n’abali mu kwetaaga n’obawonya abanyazi.”
All my bones shall say, O Lord, who is like to you? delivering the poor out of the hand of them that are stronger than he, yes, the poor and needy one from them that spoil him.
11 Abajulizi abakambwe bagolokoka ne bambuuza ebintu bye sirinaako kye mmanyi.
Unjust witnesses arose, and asked me of things I new not.
12 Bwe mbayisa obulungi bo bampisa bubi, ne banakuwaza omwoyo gwange.
They rewarded me evil for good, and bereavement to my soul.
13 So nga bwe baalwala nanakuwala ne nnyambala ebibukutu, ne neerumya nga nsiiba, ne nsaba Mukama nga nkotese omutwe, naye okusaba kwange bwe kutaddibwamu,
But I, when they troubled me, put on sackcloth, and humbled my soul with fasting: and my prayer shall return to my [own] bosom.
14 ne mbeera mu nnaku ng’ankungubagira ow’omukwano oba owooluganda nkoteka omutwe gwange mu buyinike ng’akaabira nnyina.
I behaved agreeably towards them as [if it had been] our neighbor [or] brother: I humbled myself as one mourning and sad of countenance.
15 Naye bwe nagwa mu kabi ne beekuŋŋaanya nga basanyuse; ne bannumba nga simanyi, ne bampayiriza obutata.
Yet they rejoiced against me, and plagues were plentifully brought against me, and I knew [it] not: they were scattered, but repented not.
16 Banduulidde n’ettima ng’abatamanyi Katonda bwe bakola, ne bannumira obujiji.
They tempted me, they sneered at me most contemptuously, they gnashed their teeth upon me.
17 Ayi Mukama, olituusa ddi ng’otunula butunuzi? Nziruukirira nga bannumba, obulamu bwange obuwonye okutaagulwataagulwa, obulamu bwange obw’omuwendo eri empologoma zino.
O Lord, when will you look upon me? Deliver my soul from their mischief, mine only-begotten one from the lions.
18 Nnaakwebalizanga mu lukuŋŋaana olukulu, ne nkutenderezanga mu kibiina ky’abantu abangi ennyo.
I will give thanks to you even in a great congregation: in an abundant people I will praise you.
19 Tokkiriza balabe bange kunneeyagalirako, abankyawa awatali nsonga; abankyayira obwereere tobakkiriza kunziimuula.
Let not them that are mine enemies without a cause rejoice against me; who hate me for nothing, and wink with their eyes.
20 Teboogera bya mirembe, wabula okuwaayiriza abantu abeetuulidde emirembe mu nsi.
For to me they spoke peaceably, but imagined deceits in [their] anger.
21 Banjasamiza akamwa kaabwe ne boogera nti, “Leero luno, ky’okoze tukirabye n’amaaso gaffe.”
And they opened wide their mouth upon me; they said Aha, aha, our eyes have seen [it].
22 Bino byonna obirabye, Ayi Mukama. Noolwekyo tosirika. Tonsuulirira, Ayi Mukama.
You have seen [it], O Lord: keep not silence: O Lord, withdraw not [yourself] from me.
23 Golokoka ojje onnyambe; nnwanirira Ayi Katonda wange era Mukama wange.
Awake, O Lord, and attend to my judgment, [even] to my cause, my God and my Lord.
24 Mu butuukirivu bwo nnejjeereza, Ayi Mukama Katonda wange, tobaganya kunneeyagalirako.
Judge me, O Lord, according to your righteousness, O Lord my God; and let them not rejoice against me.
25 Tobaleka kulowooza nti, “Leero luno! Kino kye twali twagala!” Oba nti, “Tumusaanyizzaawo!”
Let them not say in their hearts, Aha, aha, [it is pleasing] to our soul: neither let them say, We have devoured him.
26 Abo bonna abanneeyagalirako olw’ennaku yange ne beesanyusa, batabulwetabulwe era baswazibwe; abo bonna abanneegulumirizaako baswazibwe era banyoomebwe.
Let them be confounded and ashamed together that rejoice at my afflictions: let them be clothed with shame and confusion that speak great swelling words against me.
27 Abo abasanyuka ng’annejjeereza, baleekaanire waggulu olw’essanyu n’okujaganya; era boogerenga nti, “Mukama agulumizibwe, asanyuka omuweereza we ng’atebenkedde.”
Let them that rejoice in my righteousness exult and be glad: and let them say continually, The Lord be magnified, who desire the peace of his servant.
28 Olulimi lwange lunaayogeranga ku butuukirivu bwo, era nnaakutenderezanga olunaku lwonna.
And my tongue shall meditate on your righteousness, [and] on your praise all the day.
