< Zabbuli 32 >

1 Zabbuli ya Dawudi. Alina omukisa oyo asonyiyiddwa ebyonoono bye ekibi ne kiggyibwawo.
David’s An Instructive Psalm. How happy is he whose transgression is forgiven! whose sin is pardoned!
2 Alina omukisa omuntu oyo Mukama gw’atakyabalira kibi kye, ne mu mutima gwe nga temuli bukuusa.
How happy the son of earth, to whom Yahweh will not reckon iniquity! and in whose spirit is no guile!
3 Bwe nasirikiranga ekibi kyange, ne nkogga, kubanga nasindanga olunaku lwonna.
When I kept silence, my bones became worn out, Through my groaning all the day;
4 Wambonerezanga emisana n’ekiro, amaanyi ne ganzigwamu ng’amazzi bwe gakalira mu kyeya.
For, day and night, heavy upon me, was thy hand, —Changed was my life-sap into the drought of summer. (Selah)
5 Awo ne nkwatulira ekibi kyange, ne sibikkirira kwonoona kwange. Ne njogera nti, “Leka neenenyeze Mukama ebibi byange.” Bw’otyo n’onsonyiwa, n’onziggyako omusango gw’ebibi byange.
My sin, would I own unto thee, and, mine iniquity, not hide, I said, I will confess my transgressions unto Yahweh, And, thou, didst forgive the iniquity of my sin. (Selah)
6 Noolwekyo abaweereza bo bonna abeesigwa bakwegayirire ng’okyalabika; oluvannyuma ebizibu bwe birijja, ng’amazzi ag’amaanyi amangi tebiribatuukako.
For this cause, will every man of lovingkindness pray unto thee, in time to obtain, —Surely, in the overflow of many waters, unto him, shall they not reach.
7 Oli kifo kyange mwe nneekweka, ononkuumanga ne situukwako kabi era ononneetooloozanga ennyimba ez’obulokozi.
Thou, art a hiding-place for me, From distress, wilt thou preserve me, —With shouts of deliverance, wilt thou compass me about. (Selah)
8 Nnaakulagiranga era ne nkuyigiriza ekkubo mw’onootambuliranga; nnaakuwanga amagezi nga bwe nkulabirira.
I will make thee discreet, I will point out to thee the way which thou must go, I will fix upon thee mine eye.
9 Temubeeranga ng’embalaasi oba ennyumbu ezitategeera, ze bateekwa okussa ekyuma mu kamwa ekisibwa ku lukoba, ziryoke zifugibwe zijje gy’oli.
Do not ye become like a horse, like a mule, without discernment, —With the bit and bridle of his mouth, [hast thou] to restrain him, —He will not come near unto thee.
10 Ababi balaba ennaku nnyingi; naye abeesiga Mukama bakuumirwa mu kwagala kwe okutaggwaawo.
Many pains, hath the lawless one, —But, he that trusteth in Yahweh, Lovingkindness, shall compass him about.
11 Musanyukire mu Mukama era mujaguze mmwe abatuukirivu, era muyimbire waggulu n’essanyu mmwe abalina omutima omulongoofu.
Rejoice in Yahweh and exult, O ye righteous, Yea, shout in triumph, all ye upright in heart!
