1 Zabbuli ya Dawudi. Eri ggwe, Ayi Mukama, gye ndeeta okusaba kwange.
Unto the end. A Psalm of David. To you, Lord, I have lifted up my soul.
2 Neesiga ggwe, Ayi Mukama, tondeka kuswala mu maaso g’abalabe bange. Tobaganya kumpangula.
In you, my God, I trust. Let me not be put to shame.
3 Ddala ddala abakwesiga tebaajulirirenga, naye ab’enkwe baliswazibwa.
And do not let my enemies laugh at me. For all who remain with you will not be confounded.
4 Njigiriza nga bwe nnaakolanga, Ayi Mukama, ondage amakubo go mwe nnaatambuliranga.
May all those who act unjustly over nothing be confounded. O Lord, demonstrate your ways to me, and teach me your paths.
5 Onjigirizenga okunywerera ku mazima go, era onkulemberenga mu byonna; kubanga ggwe Katonda, ow’obulokozi bwange era essuubi lyange liri mu ggwe olunaku lwonna.
Direct me in your truth, and teach me. For you are God, my Savior, and I remain with you all day long.
6 Jjukira, Ayi Mukama, okusaasira kwo okunene, n’okwagala kwo okungi, kubanga byava dda.
O Lord, remember your compassion and your mercies, which are from ages past.
7 Tojjukira bibi byange n’obujeemu bwange eby’omu buvubuka bwange. Onzijukire, Ayi Mukama, ng’okwagala kwo gye ndi bwe kuli, kubanga oli mulungi.
Do not remember the offenses of my youth and my ignorances. Remember me according to your mercy, because of your goodness, O Lord.
8 Mukama mulungi, era wa mazima, noolwekyo ayigiriza aboonoonyi ekkubo lye.
The Lord is sweet and righteous. Because of this, he will grant a law to those who fall short in the way.
9 Abawombeefu abaluŋŋamya mu kkubo ettuufu n’abayigiriza ekkubo lye.
He will direct the mild in judgment. He will teach the meek his ways.
10 Amakubo ga Mukama gonna gajjudde okwagala n’amazima eri abo abagondera endagaano ye n’ebiragiro bye.
All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth, to those who yearn for his covenant and his testimonies.
11 Olw’erinnya lyo, Ayi Mukama, onsonyiwe ebibi byange, kubanga bingi.
Because of your name, O Lord, you will pardon my sin, for it is great.
12 Omuntu wa ngeri ki atya Katonda? Oyo gw’anaayigirizanga okukwata ekkubo lye yamulondera.
Which is the man who fears the Lord? He has established a law for him, on the way that he has chosen.
13 Obulamu bwe bunajjuzibwanga emikisa gya Katonda, era bazzukulu be ensi eriba yaabwe.
His soul will dwell upon good things, and his offspring will inherit the earth.
14 Mikwano gya Mukama be bo abamugondera; anaababikkuliranga ekyama eky’endagaano ye.
The Lord is a firmament to those who fear him, and his covenant will be made manifest to them.
15 Ntunuulira Mukama buli kiseera, kubanga yekka y’anzigya mu kabi.
My eyes are ever toward the Lord, for he will pull my feet from the snare.
16 Nkyukira, Ayi Mukama, onkwatirwe ekisa, kubanga nsigadde bw’omu, era ndi munafu.
Look upon me and have mercy on me; for I am alone and poor.
17 Obuyinike bweyongedde mu mutima gwange; mponya okweraliikirira kwange.
The troubles of my heart have been multiplied. Deliver me from my needfulness.
18 Tunuulira ennaku endiko, weetegereze obulumi bwange; onzigyeko ebibi byange byonna.
See my lowliness and my hardship, and release all my offenses.
19 Laba abalabe bange nga bwe beeyongedde obungi n’okunkyawa kwe bankyawamu!
Consider my enemies, for they have been multiplied, and they have hated me with an unjust hatred.
20 Labiriranga obulamu bwange, obamponye; tondekanga mu buswavu, kubanga ggwe kiddukiro kyange.
Preserve my soul and rescue me. I will not be ashamed, for I have hoped in you.
21 Amazima n’obulongoofu bindabirirenga, essubi lyange liri mu ggwe.
The innocent and the righteous have adhered to me, because I have remained with you.
22 Nunula Isirayiri, Ayi Katonda, omuwonye emitawaana gye gyonna.
