< Zabbuli 15 >

1 Zabbuli ya Dawudi. Ayi Mukama, ani anaabeeranga mu nnyumba yo? Ani anaatuulanga ku lusozi lwo olutukuvu?
A psalm of David. Yahweh, who may stay in your tabernacle? Who may live on your holy hill?
2 Oyo ataliiko kya kunenyezebwa, akola eby’obutuukirivu, era ayogera eby’amazima nga biviira ddala mu mutima gwe.
Whoever walks blamelessly, does what is right and speaks truth from his heart.
3 Olulimi lwe talwogeza bya bulimba, era mikwano gye tagiyisa bubi, so tasaasaanya ŋŋambo ku baliraanwa be.
He does not slander with his tongue, he does not harm others, and he does not insult his neighbor.
4 Anyooma ababi, naye abatya Mukama abassaamu ekitiibwa. Atuukiriza ky’asuubiza ne bwe kiba nga kimulumya.
The worthless person is despised in his eyes, but he honors those who fear Yahweh. He swears to his own disadvantage and does not take back his promises.
5 Bw’awola tasaba magoba; so takkiriza kulya nguzi ku muntu yenna. Oyo akola ebyo aliba munywevu emirembe gyonna.
He does not charge interest when he lends money. He does not take bribes to testify against the innocent. He who does these things will never be shaken.
