Zabbuli 145
1 Oluyimba lwa Dawudi olw’okutendereza. Nnaakugulumizanga ggwe Katonda wange, era Kabaka wange; era nnaatenderezanga erinnya lyo buli lunaku emirembe n’emirembe.
“A hymn of praise by David.” I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
2 Nnaakutenderezanga buli lunaku; era nnaasuutanga erinnya lyo emirembe n’emirembe.
Every day will I bless thee, and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.
3 Mukama mukulu, wa kitiibwa, era asaanira okutenderezebwanga ennyo, n’obukulu bwe tebwogerekeka.
Great is the Lord, and greatly praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.
4 Buli mulembe gunaatenderanga gunnaagwo ebikolwa byo, era gunaatendanga emirimu gyo egy’amaanyi.
One generation shall praise thy works to the other, and thy mighty acts shall they declare.
5 Nnaatendanga obukulu n’obulungi bw’ekitiibwa kyo, era nnaafumiitirizanga ku bikolwa byo ebyewuunyisa.
On the majestic glory of thy excellence, and on thy wondrous deeds will I meditate.
6 Abantu banaatendanga amaanyi g’ebikolwa byo eby’ekitalo, nange nnaatendanga obukulu bwo obw’ekitiibwa.
And of the might of thy terrible acts shall men converse: and thy greatness will I relate.
7 Banaayogeranga ku bulungi bwo obw’ekitalo nga bajaguza; era banaayimbanga olw’obutuukirivu bwo.
The memorial of thy abundant goodness shall they loudly proclaim, and they shall sing joyfully of thy righteousness.
8 Mukama wa kisa, ajudde okusaasira, alwawo okusunguwala era ajudde okwagala okutaggwaawo.
Gracious and merciful is the Lord, long-suffering, and great in kindness.
9 Mukama mulungi eri buli muntu, era okusaasira kwe kubuna byonna bye yatonda.
The Lord is good to all, and his mercies are over all his works.
10 Byonna bye watonda binaakutenderezanga, Ayi Mukama; n’abatukuvu bo banaakugulumizanga.
All thy works shall thank thee, O Lord; and thy pious servants shall bless thee.
11 Banaayogeranga ku kitiibwa ky’obwakabaka bwo, era banaatendanga amaanyi go.
Of the glory of thy kingdom shall they converse, and of thy might shall they speak:
12 Balyoke bategeeze abantu bonna ebikolwa byo eby’amaanyi, n’ekitiibwa ky’obukulu obw’obwakabaka bwo.
To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
13 Obwakabaka bwo, bwakabaka bwa lubeerera, n’obufuzi bwo bwa mirembe na mirembe. Mukama by’ayogera byonna bya bwesigwa, n’ebikolwa bye bijjudde okusaasira.
Thy kingdom is a kingdom of all eternities, and thy dominion [subsisteth] throughout all generations.
14 Mukama awanirira abo bonna abazitoowereddwa, era ayimusa bonna abagwa.
The Lord upholdeth all who are falling, and raiseth up all those who are bowed down.
15 Amaaso g’abantu bonna gatunuulira ggwe, Ayi Mukama, era bonna gw’obawa ebyokulya mu biseera byabyo.
The eyes of all wait hopefully upon thee, and thou givest them their food in its due season.
16 Oyanjuluza engalo zo, ebiramu byonna n’obigabira bye byetaaga ne bikkuta.
Thou openest thy hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
17 Mukama mutuukirivu mu bikolwa bye byonna era ayagala byonna bye yatonda.
Righteous is the Lord in all his ways, and beneficent in all his works.
18 Mukama abeera kumpi n’abo bonna abamukoowoola; abo bonna abamukoowoola mu mazima.
The Lord is nigh unto all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
19 Abo bonna abamussaamu ekitiibwa abawa bye baagala, era awulira okukaaba kwabwe n’abawonya.
The desire of those who fear him will he fulfill, and their cry will he hear, and save them.
20 Mukama akuuma bonna abamwagala, naye abakola ebibi alibazikiriza.
The Lord preserveth all those who love him; but all the wicked will he destroy.
21 Akamwa kange kanaatenderezanga Mukama, era na buli kitonde kinaatenderezanga erinnya lye ettukuvu emirembe n’emirembe.
The praise of the Lord shall my mouth speak: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
