< Zabbuli 138 >
1 Zabbuli Ya Dawudi. Nnaakutenderezanga Ayi Mukama, n’omutima gwange gwonna; ne mu maaso ga bakatonda abalala nnaayimbanga okukutendereza.
David’s. I will give thee thanks with all my heart, Before the messengers of God, will I praise thee in song:
2 Nvuunama nga njolekedde Yeekaalu yo Entukuvu, ne ntendereza erinnya lyo olw’okwagala kwo n’olw’obwesigwa bwo; kubanga wagulumiza ekigambo kyo n’erinnya lyo okusinga ebintu byonna.
I will bow down towards thy holy temple, and thank thy Name, for thy lovingkindness and for thy faithfulness, For thou hast magnified, above all thy Name, thy word!
3 Olunaku lwe nakukoowoolerako wannyanukula; n’onnyongeramu amaanyi mu mwoyo gwange.
In the day I cried unto thee, then didst thou answer me, and didst excite me, in my soul, mightily.
4 Bakabaka bonna ab’omu nsi banaakutenderezanga, Ayi Mukama, nga bawulidde ebigambo ebiva mu kamwa ko.
All the kings of the earth, will thank thee, O Yahweh, when they have heard the sayings of thy mouth;
5 Banaatenderezanga ebikolwa byo Ayi Mukama; kubanga ekitiibwa kya Mukama kinene.
And they will sing of the ways of Yahweh, That great is the glory of Yahweh:
6 Newaakubadde nga Mukama asukkulumye, naye afaayo eri abo abeetoowaza; naye abeegulumiza ababeera wala.
Though lofty is Yahweh, yet, the lowly, he regardeth, but, the haughty—afar off, doth he acknowledge.
7 Newaakubadde nga neetooloddwa ebizibu, naye ggwe okuuma obulamu bwange; ogolola omukono gwo eri abalabe bange abakambwe, era omukono gwo ogwa ddyo ne gumponya.
Though I walk in the midst of distress, thou wilt give me life, —Because of the anger of my foes, thou wilt thrust forth thy hand, and thy right hand, will save me:
8 Mukama alituukiriza ebyo by’anteekeddeteekedde; kubanga okwagala kwo, Ayi Mukama, kubeerera emirembe gyonna. Tolekulira ebyo bye watonda.
Yahweh, will carry through my cause, —O Yahweh! thy lovingkindness, is age-abiding, The works of thine own hands, do not thou desert.
