< Zabbuli 130 >

1 Oluyimba nga balinnya amadaala. Ayi Mukama, nkukaabira nga nsobeddwa nnyo.
A song of ascents. Out of the depths I cry to You, O LORD!
2 Ayi Mukama, wulira eddoboozi lyange; otege amatu go eri eddoboozi ly’okwegayirira kwange.
O Lord, hear my voice; let Your ears be attentive to my plea for mercy.
3 Ayi Mukama, singa otubalira obutali butuukirivu bwaffe, ani eyandiyimiridde mu maaso go?
If You, O LORD, kept track of iniquities, then who, O Lord, could stand?
4 Naye osonyiwa; noolwekyo ossibwamu ekitiibwa.
But with You there is forgiveness, so that You may be feared.
5 Nnindirira Mukama, emmeeme yange erindirira era essuubi lyange liri mu kigambo kye.
I wait for the LORD; my soul does wait, and in His word I put my hope.
6 Emmeeme yange erindirira Mukama; mmulindirira okusinga ng’abakuumi bwe balindirira obudde okukya; okusingira ddala ng’abakuumi bwe balindirira obudde okukya.
My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning— more than watchmen wait for the morning.
7 Ayi Isirayiri, weesigenga Mukama, kubanga Mukama y’alina okwagala okutaggwaawo; era y’alina okununula okutuukiridde.
O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is loving devotion, and with Him is redemption in abundance.
8 Mukama y’alinunula Isirayiri n’amuggya mu byonoono bye byonna.
And He will redeem Israel from all iniquity.
