< Zabbuli 126 >

1 Oluyimba nga balinnya amadaala. Mukama bwe yakomyawo abawaŋŋanguse ba Sayuuni, twafaanana ng’abaloota.
A song for pilgrims going up to Jerusalem. When the Lord brought his people back from captivity to Zion, it was as if we were dreaming!
2 Olwo akamwa kaffe ne kajjula enseko, ne nnimi zaffe ne ziyimba ennyimba ez’essanyu. Amawanga ne gagamba nti, “Mukama abakoledde ebikulu.”
We laughed so much, we sang for joy. The other nations said, “The Lord has done wonderful things for these people.”
3 Mukama atukoledde ebikulu, kyetuvudde tusanyuka.
The Lord certainly has done wonderful things for us. How happy we were!
4 Otuzze obuggya, Ayi Mukama, tufaanane ng’emigga egikulukutira mu lusenyi.
Please return and help us again, Lord. Renew us like streams of water that renew the Negev desert.
5 Abo abasiga nga bakaaba amaziga, baliyimba ennyimba ez’essanyu nga bakungula.
Those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy!
6 Oyo agenda ng’akaaba ng’atwala ensigo okusiga; alikomawo ng’ayimba ennyimba ez’essanyu ng’aleeta ebinywa bye.
Those who weep as they go out to sow their seed will be singing in celebration when they carry the harvest home.
