1 Oluyimba nga balinnya amadaala. Abeesiga Mukama bali ng’olusozi Sayuuni olutayinza kusiguukululwa, naye olubeerawo emirembe gyonna.

A Song of Ascents. Those who trust in the LORD are as Mount Zion, which can’t be moved, but remains forever.

2 Ensozi nga bwe zeetooloola Yerusaalemi, ne Mukama bw’atyo bwe yeetooloola abantu be, okuva kaakano n’okutuusa emirembe gyonna.

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people from this time forward and forever more.

3 Kubanga abafuzi abakola ebibi tebalifugira mu nsi y’abatuukirivu, baleme okuwaliriza abatuukirivu okukola ebibi.

For the scepter of wickedness won’t remain over the allotment of the righteous, so that the righteous won’t use their hands to do evil.

4 Ayi Mukama, abalungi n’abo abalina omutima omulongoofu bakolere ebirungi.

Do good, LORD, to those who are good, to those who are upright in their hearts.
