< Zabbuli 108 >
1 Oluyimba. Zabbuli ya Dawudi. Omutima gwange munywevu, Ayi Katonda; nnaayimbanga ne nkutendereza n’omwoyo gwange gwonna.
A Song, a Melody: David’s. Fixed, is my heart, O God, I will sing and touch the strings, even mine honour.
2 Muzuukuke, mmwe entongooli n’ennanga ey’enkoba, nzija kuyimba okukeesa obudde.
Awake, O harp and lyre, I will awaken the dawn!
3 Nnaakutenderezanga, Ayi Mukama, mu bantu bonna, nnaakuyimbiranga mu mawanga gonna.
I will thank thee among the peoples, O Yahweh, and will sing praise unto thee, among the tribes of men.
4 Okwagala kwo kunene, kutumbiira okutuuka ku ggulu; n’obwesigwa bwo butuuka ku bire.
For, great, above the heavens, is thy lovingkindness, and, as far as the skies, thy faithfulness.
5 Ogulumizibwenga, Ayi Katonda, okuyisa eggulu; n’ekitiibwa kyo kibune ensi yonna.
Be thou exalted above the heavens, O God, And, above all the earth, be thy glory.
6 Tulokole otuyambe n’omukono gwo ogwa ddyo, abo booyagala banunulibwe.
To the end thy beloved ones may be delivered, Oh save thou with thy right hand and answer me!
7 Katonda ayogedde ng’asinziira mu kifo kye ekitukuvu n’agamba nti, “Nga nzijudde essanyu, ndisala mu Sekemu, era n’Ekiwonvu kya Sukkosi ndikigabanyagabanyaamu.
God, hath spoken in his holiness, I will exult! I will apportion Shechem! And, the Vale of Succoth, will I measure out;
8 Ensi ya Gireyaadi yange, n’eya Manase nayo yange. Efulayimu mwe muli abalwanyi bange abazira; ate mu Yuda mwe munaavanga bakabaka.
Mine, is Gilead—mine, Manasseh, but, Ephraim, is the defence of my head, Judah, is my commander’s staff;
9 Mowaabu be baweereza bange abawulize; ate Edomu be baddu bange; Abafirisuuti ndibaleekaanira mu ddoboozi ery’omwanguka ery’obuwanguzi.”
Moab, is my wash-bowl, Upon Edom, will I throw my shoe, Over Philistia, raise a shout of triumph.
10 Ani anantuusa ku kibuga ekigumu ekinywevu? Ani anankulembera okunnyingiza mu Edomu?
Who will conduct me to a fortified city? Who will lead me as far as Edom?
11 Si ggwe, ayi Katonda, atusudde, atakyatabaala n’amaggye gaffe?
Hast not thou, O God, rejected us? and wilt not go forth, O God, with our hosts.
12 Tudduukirire nga tulwanyisa abalabe baffe, kubanga obuyambi bw’abantu temuli nsa.
Grant us help out of distress, for, vain, is the deliverance of man:
13 Bwe tunaabeeranga ne Katonda tunaabanga bawanguzi; kubanga y’anaalinnyiriranga abalabe baffe wansi w’ebigere bye.
In God, shall we do valiantly, He himself, therefore, shall tread down our adversaries.
