< Zabbuli 107 >

1 Mwebaze Mukama, kubanga mulungi; okwagala kwe kubeerera emirembe gyonna.
O give thanks unto the LORD, for [he is] good: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.
2 Kale abanunule ba Mukama boogere bwe batyo; abo be yanunula mu mikono gy’abalabe;
Let the redeemed of the LORD say [so], whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
3 abo be yakuŋŋaanya mu mawanga; okuva Ebugwanjuba n’Ebuvanjuba, n’okuva obukiikakkono ne mu bukiikaddyo.
And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.
4 Abamu baataataaganira mu malungu nga babuliddwa ekkubo eribatwala ku kibuga gye banaabeeranga.
They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.
5 Baalumwa ennyonta n’enjala, obulamu bwabwe ne butandika okusereba.
Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
6 Bwe batyo ne bakaabira Mukama nga bali mu kabi; n’abawonya mu kweraliikirira kwabwe.
Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, [and] he delivered them out of their distresses.
7 Yabakulembera butereevu n’abatuusa mu kibuga mwe baabeera.
And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
8 Kale singa beebazanga Mukama olw’okwagala kwe okutaggwaawo, n’olw’eby’ekitalo by’akolera abaana b’abantu!
Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!
9 Kubanga abalina ennyonta abanywesa, n’abayala abakkusa ebirungi.
For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
10 Abamu baatuulanga mu kizikiza ne mu kisiikirize eky’okufa; abasibiddwa mu byuma era abali mu nnaku ennyingi;
Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, [being] bound in affliction and iron;
11 kubanga baajeemera ekigambo kya Katonda, ne banyoomoola amagezi g’oyo Ali Waggulu Ennyo.
Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:
12 Baakozesebwa emirimu egy’amaanyi, emitima gyabwe ne gijjula obuyinike; baagwanga wansi, naye nga tebalina abasitulawo.
Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and [there was] none to help.
13 Bwe batyo ne bakaabirira Mukama nga bali mu bizibu byabwe, era n’abawonya;
Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, [and] he saved them out of their distresses.
14 n’abaggya mu kizikiza ne mu kisiikirize eky’okufa; n’enjegere ezaali zibasibye n’azikutula.
He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.
15 Kale singa beebazanga Mukama olw’okwagala kwe okutaggwaawo, n’olwebikolwa bye eby’ekitalo by’akolera abaana b’abantu!
Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!
16 Kubanga enzigi ez’ebikomo azaasaayasa, n’emitayimbwa egy’ekyuma agimenyamu.
For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.
17 Abamu baafuuka basirusiru olw’obujeemu bwabwe; ne babonaabona olw’ebikolwa byabwe ebibi.
Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
18 Ne batamwa emmere yonna, ne babulako katono ddala okufa.
Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.
19 Bwe batyo ne bakaabirira Mukama nga bali mu buzibu obwo, n’abawonya.
Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, [and] he saveth them out of their distresses.
20 Yabatumira ekigambo kye, n’awonya endwadde zaabwe; n’abalokola mu kuzikirira.
He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered [them] from their destructions.
21 Kale singa beebazanga Mukama olw’okwagala kwe okutaggwaawo, n’olw’ebikolwa bye eby’ekyewuunyo by’akolera abaana b’abantu!
Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!
22 Bamuleeterenga ebiweebwayo eby’okwebaza, era batendenga ebikolwa bye n’ennyimba ez’essanyu.
And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
23 Abalala baasaabalira mu maato ku nnyanja; baali basuubuzi b’oku gayanja aganene.
They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;
24 Baalaba Mukama bye yakola, ebikolwa bye eby’ekitalo mu buziba bw’ennyanja.
These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.
25 Kubanga yalagira omuyaga ne gusitula amayengo waggulu.
For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.
26 Ne gagulumira okutuuka ku ggulu, ate ne gakka wansi mu ddubi; akabenje ne kabayitirira, ne baggwaamu amaanyi.
They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.
27 Ne beesunda, eruuyi n’eruuyi ne baba ng’omutamiivu atagala; n’amagezi ne gabaggwaako.
They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end.
28 Bwe batyo ne bakaabira Mukama nga bali mu buzibu; n’abawonya mu kweraliikirira kwabwe.
Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
29 Omuyaga yagusirisa, ennyanja n’etteeka.
He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
30 Ne bajjula essanyu kubanga ennyanja yateeka; n’abakulembera n’abatuusa bulungi ku mwalo gwabwe.
Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
31 Kale singa abantu beebazanga Mukama olw’okwagala kwe okutaggwaawo, n’olw’ebikolwa bye eby’ekyewuunyo by’akolera abaana b’abantu!
Oh that [men] would praise the LORD [for] his goodness, and [for] his wonderful works to the children of men!
32 Bamugulumizenga ng’abantu bakuŋŋaanye, era bamutenderezenga mu lukiiko lw’abakulu.
Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.
33 Afuula emigga amalungu, n’emikutu gy’amazzi ne giba ng’ettaka ekkalu,
He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground;
34 ensi engimu n’agifuula olukoola olw’olunnyo olw’obwonoonyi bw’abantu baamu.
A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.
35 Eddungu yalijjuza ebidiba by’amazzi, n’ensi enkalu n’agikulukusizaamu amazzi,
He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings.
36 abalina enjala n’abateeka omwo, ne beezimbira ekibuga eky’okubeeramu,
And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;
37 ennimiro zaabwe ne bazisigamu emmere, ne basimba emizabbibu, ne bakungula ebibala bingi.
And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.
38 Yabawa omukisa gwe, ne beeyongera obungi; n’ebisibo byabwe n’atabiganya kukendeera.
He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
39 Ate ne bakendeera obungi, ne bakkakkanyizibwa olw’okujeezebwa, n’okujoogebwa n’okulaba ennaku;
Again, they are minished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.
40 oyo anyooma n’abakungu, n’ababungeetanyiza mu lukoola omutali kantu.
He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, [where there is] no way.
41 Naye abaali mu kwetaaga yabamalako ennaku n’okubonaabona, n’ayaza ezzadde lyabwe ng’ebisibo.
Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh [him] families like a flock.
42 Abagolokofu, bino babiraba ne basanyuka; naye abakola ebibi bo basirika busirisi.
The righteous shall see [it], and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.
43 Abalina amagezi bonna, bagondere ebigambo bino era bategeere okwagala kwa Mukama okutaggwaawo.
Whoso [is] wise, and will observe these [things], even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.
