< Zabbuli 104 >

1 Weebaze Mukama, ggwe emmeeme yange. Ayi Mukama Katonda wange, oli mukulu nnyo; ojjudde obukulu n’ekitiibwa.
Bless, O my soul, the Lord. O Lord my God, thou art very great; with glory and majesty art thou clothed.
2 Yeebika ekitangaala ng’ayeebikka ekyambalo n’abamba eggulu ng’eweema,
[Thou art he] who wrappeth himself in light as with a garment; who stretcheth out the heavens like a curtain;
3 n’ateeka akasolya k’ebisulo bye eby’oku ntikko kungulu ku mazzi; ebire abifuula amagaali ge, ne yeebagala ebiwaawaatiro by’empewo.
Who frameth of the waters the beams of his upper-chambers; who maketh the clouds his chariot; who walketh along upon the wings of the wind:
4 Afuula empewo ababaka be, n’ennimi z’omuliro ogwaka abaweereza be.
Who maketh the winds his messengers; the flaming fire his ministers;
5 Yassaawo ensi ku misingi gyayo; teyinza kunyeenyezebwa.
Who hath founded the earth upon her bases, that she should not be moved to all eternity.
6 Wagibikkako obuziba ng’ekyambalo; amazzi ne gatumbiira okuyisa ensozi ennene.
Thou hadst covered the deep as with a garment: above the mountains stood the waters.
7 Bwe wagaboggolera ne gadduka; bwe gaawulira okubwatuka kwo ne gaddukira ddala;
At thy rebuke they fled, at the voice of thy thunder they hastened away.
8 gaakulukutira ku nsozi ennene, ne gakkirira wansi mu biwonvu mu bifo bye wagategekera.
They ascended mountains; they went down valleys, unto the place which thou hadst founded for them.
9 Wagassizaawo ensalo ze gatasaana kusukka, na kuddayo kubuutikira nsi.
Bounds hast thou set which they cannot pass over, that they return not again to cover the earth.
10 Alagira ensulo ne zisindika amazzi mu biwonvu; ne gakulukutira wakati w’ensozi.
[Thou art he] who sendeth springs into the valleys, between mountains they run along.
11 Ne ganywesa ebisolo byonna eby’omu nsiko; n’endogoyi ne gazimalako ennyonta.
They give drink to all the beasts of the field: the wild asses quench [thereon] their thirst.
12 Ebinyonyi eby’omu bbanga bizimba ebisu byabyo ku mabbali g’amazzi, ne biyimbira mu matabi.
By them have the fowls of the heaven ever their habitation, from between the branches they send forth their voice.
13 Afukirira ensozi ennene ng’osinziira waggulu gy’obeera; ensi n’ekkuta ebibala by’emirimu gyo.
Who watereth the mountains from his upper-chambers: from the fruit of thy works is the earth satisfied.
14 Olagira omuddo ne gukula okuliisa ente, n’ebirime abantu bye balima, balyoke bafune ebyokulya okuva mu ttaka.
[Thou art he] who causeth grass to grow for the cattle, and herbs by the service of man, that he may bring forth bread out of the earth;
15 Ne wayini okusanyusa omutima gwe, n’ebizigo okwesiiga awoomye endabika ye, n’emmere okumuwa obulamu.
And wine that maketh joyful the heart of man, [and] oil to brighten his face, and bread which strengtheneth the heart of man.
16 Emiti gya Mukama gifuna amazzi mangi; gy’emivule gy’e Lebanooni gye yasimba.
Full of sap are the trees of the Lord, the cedars of Lebanon which he hath planted;
17 Omwo ebinyonyi mwe bizimba ebisu byabyo; ne ssekanyolya asula mu miti omwo.
Where the birds make their nests: the stork—fir-trees are her house.
18 Ku nsozi empanvu eyo embulabuzi ez’omu nsiko gye zibeera; n’enjazi kye kiddukiro ky’obumyu.
The high mountains are for the wild goats: the rocks are a shelter for the conies.
19 Wakola omwezi okutegeeza ebiro; n’enjuba bw’egwa n’eraga olunaku.
He hath made the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.
20 Oleeta ekizikiza, ne buba ekiro; olwo ebisolo byonna eby’omu bibira ne biryoka bivaayo.
Thou causest darkness, and it becometh night, wherein creep forth all the beasts of the forest.
21 Empologoma ento zikaabira emmere gye zinaalya; nga zinoonya ebyokulya okuva eri Katonda.
The young lions roar after their prey, and ask from God their food.
22 Enjuba bw’evaayo ne zigenda, n’oluvannyuma ne zikomawo ne zigalamira mu mpuku zaazo.
The sun ariseth, they withdraw [to their lairs], and lie down in their dens.
23 Abantu ne bagenda ku mirimu gyabwe, ne bakola okutuusa akawungeezi.
Man goeth [then] forth unto his work, and to his labor until the evening.
24 Ayi Mukama, ebintu bye wakola nga bingi nnyo! Byonna wabikola n’amagezi ag’ekitalo; ensi ejjudde ebitonde byo.
How manifold are thy works, O Lord! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
25 Waliwo ennyanja, nnene era ngazi, ejjudde ebitonde ebitabalika, ebintu ebirina obulamu ebinene era n’ebitono.
Here is this great and wide-extended sea; therein are moving things without number, living creatures both small and great.
26 Okwo amaato kwe gaseeyeeyera nga galaga eno n’eri; ne galukwata ge wakola mwe gabeera okuzannyiranga omwo.
There the ships make their way: [there also] is the leviathan, whom thou hast made to sport therein.
27 Ebyo byonna bitunuulira ggwe okubiwa emmere yaabyo ng’ekiseera kituuse.
All of these wait upon thee, to give them their food in its due season.
28 Bw’ogibiwa, nga bigikuŋŋaanya; bw’oyanjuluza engalo zo n’obigabira ebintu ebirungi ne bikkusibwa.
What thou givest them they gather: thou openest thy hand, they are satisfied with good.
29 Bw’okweka amaaso go ne byeraliikirira nnyo; bw’obiggyamu omukka nga bifa, nga biddayo mu nfuufu.
Thou hidest thy face, they suddenly vanish: thou takest away their spirit, they perish, and to their dust they return.
30 Bw’oweereza Omwoyo wo, ne bifuna obulamu obuggya; olwo ensi n’ogizza buggya.
Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created; and thou renewest the face of the earth.
31 Ekitiibwa kya Katonda kibeerengawo emirembe gyonna; era Mukama asanyukirenga ebyo bye yakola.
The glory of the Lord will endure for ever; the Lord will rejoice in his works:
32 Atunuulira ensi, n’ekankana; bw’akwata ku nsozi ennene, ne zinyooka omukka.
He who looketh down on the earth, and she trembleth; who toucheth the mountains, and they smoke.
33 Nnaayimbiranga Mukama obulamu bwange bwonna; nnaayimbanga nga ntendereza Katonda wange ennaku zonna ze ndimala nga nkyali mulamu.
I will sing unto the Lord while I live: I will sing praises to my God while I exist.
34 Ebirowoozo byange, nga nfumiitiriza, bimusanyusenga; kubanga mu Mukama mwe neeyagalira.
May my speech be agreeable to him: I will indeed rejoice in the Lord.
35 Naye abakola ebibi baggweewo ku nsi; aboonoonyi baleme kulabikirako ddala. Weebaze Mukama, gwe emmeeme yange. Mumutenderezenga Mukama.
May the sinners cease from off the earth, and the wicked be no more. Bless, O my soul, the Lord. Hallelujah.
