< Zabbuli 102 >
1 Okusaba kw’oyo ali mu buyinike ng’ayigganyizibwa nga yeeyongedde okunafuwa, n’afukumula byonna ebimuli ku mutima mu maaso ga Mukama. Wulira okusaba kwange, Ayi Mukama, okkirize okukoowoola kwange kutuuke gy’oli.
A Prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed and pours out his complaint before the LORD. Hear my prayer, LORD! Let my cry come to you.
2 Tonneekweka mu biseera eby’obuyinike bwange. Ntegera okutu kwo onnyanukule mangu bwe nkukoowoola!
Don’t hide your face from me in the day of my distress. Turn your ear to me. Answer me quickly in the day when I call.
3 Kubanga ennaku zange zifuumuuka ng’omukka, n’amagumba gange gaaka ng’amanda.
For my days consume away like smoke. My bones are burnt as a torch.
4 Omutima gwange gulinnyirirwa ng’omuddo, era guwotose; neerabira n’okulya emmere yange.
My heart is blighted like grass, and withered, for I forget to eat my bread.
5 Olw’okwaziirana kwange okunene, nzenna nfuuse ŋŋumbagumba.
By reason of the voice of my groaning, my bones stick to my skin.
6 Ndi ng’ekiwuugulu eky’omu ddungu, era ng’ekiwuugulu eky’omu nsiko.
I am like a pelican of the wilderness. I have become as an owl of the waste places.
7 Nsula ntunula, nga ndi ng’ekinyonyi ekitudde kyokka ku kasolya k’ennyumba.
I watch, and have become like a sparrow that is alone on the housetop.
8 Abalabe bange banvuma olunaku lwonna; abo abanduulira bakozesa linnya lyange nga bakolima.
My enemies reproach me all day. Those who are mad at me use my name as a curse.
9 Kubanga ndya evvu ng’alya emmere, n’amaziga gange ne geegattika mu kyokunywa kyange.
For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mixed my drink with tears,
10 Olw’obusungu n’okunyiiga kwo; onneegobyeko n’onsuula eyo.
because of your indignation and your wrath; for you have taken me up and thrown me away.
11 Ennaku zange ziri ng’ekisiikirize ky’olweggulo nga buziba; mpotoka ng’omuddo.
My days are like a long shadow. I have withered like grass.
12 Naye ggwe, Ayi Mukama, obeera mu ntebe yo ey’obwakabaka emirembe n’emirembe; erinnya lyo linajjukirwanga ab’omu mirembe gyonna.
But you, LORD, will remain forever; your renown endures to all generations.
13 Olisituka n’osaasira Sayuuni, kino kye kiseera okulaga Sayuuni omukwano; ekiseera kye wateekateeka kituuse.
You will arise and have mercy on Zion, for it is time to have pity on her. Yes, the set time has come.
14 Kubanga amayinja gaakyo abaweereza bo bagaagala nnyo, n’enfuufu y’omu kibuga ekyo ebakwasa ekisa.
For your servants take pleasure in her stones, and have pity on her dust.
15 Amawanga gonna ganaatyanga erinnya lya Mukama; ne bakabaka bonna ab’ensi banaakankananga olw’ekitiibwa kyo.
So the nations will fear the LORD’s name, all the kings of the earth your glory.
16 Kubanga Mukama alizimba Sayuuni buto, era n’alabika mu kitiibwa kye.
For the LORD has built up Zion. He has appeared in his glory.
17 Alyanukula okusaba kw’abanaku; talinyooma kwegayirira kwabwe.
He has responded to the prayer of the destitute, and has not despised their prayer.
18 Bino leka biwandiikirwe ab’omu mirembe egirijja, abantu abatannatondebwa bwe balibisoma balyoke batendereze Mukama.
This will be written for the generation to come. A people which will be created will praise the LORD,
19 Bategeere nti Mukama yatunula wansi ng’asinziira waggulu mu kifo kye ekitukuvu; Mukama yasinzira mu ggulu n’atunuulira ensi,
for he has looked down from the height of his sanctuary. From heaven, the LORD saw the earth,
20 okuwulira okusinda kw’abasibe, n’okusumulula abo abasaliddwa ogw’okufa.
to hear the groans of the prisoner, to free those who are condemned to death,
21 Erinnya lya Mukama, liryoke litenderezebwe mu Sayuuni, bamutenderezenga mu Yerusaalemi;
that men may declare the LORD’s name in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem,
22 abantu nga bakuŋŋaanye, awamu n’obwakabaka, okusinza Mukama.
when the peoples are gathered together, the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.
23 Mukama ammazeemu amaanyi nga nkyali muvubuka; akendeezezza ku nnaku z’obulamu bwange.
He weakened my strength along the course. He shortened my days.
24 Ne ndyoka mmukaabira nti, “Ayi Katonda wange, tontwala nga nkyali mu makkati g’emyaka gy’obulamu bwange, ggw’abeera omulamu emirembe gyonna.
I said, “My God, don’t take me away in the middle of my days. Your years are throughout all generations.
25 Ku ntandikwa wassaawo omusingi gw’ensi; n’eggulu gy’emirimu gy’emikono gyo.
Of old, you laid the foundation of the earth. The heavens are the work of your hands.
26 Byonna biriggwaawo, naye ggwe oli wa lubeerera. Byonna birikaddiwa ng’ebyambalo. Olibikyusa ng’ebyambalo, ne bisuulibwa.
They will perish, but you will endure. Yes, all of them will wear out like a garment. You will change them like a cloak, and they will be changed.
27 Naye ggwe tokyuka oli wa lubeerera n’emyaka gyo tegirikoma.
But you are the same. Your years will have no end.
28 Abaana b’abaweereza bo baliba mu ddembe; ne bazzukulu baabwe banaabeeranga w’oli nga tebalina kye batya.”
The children of your servants will continue. Their offspring will be established before you.”
